In November, 2016, I purchased a used ATI OMNI Multi-Caliber AR-15 Rifle from a local Pawn shop. The salesman at the shop assured me that the gun was in working order and it was once owned by a Law Enforcement Officer. The Rifle had all the bells and whistles; from Red/Green Dot Scope to Flashlight w/ Laser. I purchased the rifle and over the next 2 weeks, I went over my new rifle with a fine tooth comb to be sure it was in 100% safe and in perfect working order. It appeared ok, but I wanted to be sure. With that said, I called American Tactical Import (ATI) to obtained additional information about my rifle. The 2 ladies I spoke to were Jennifer Hayes and Carolyn Drabik. These ladies were very helpful. Not only did they provide me with the information I need regarding my Rifle, and I was informed that my rifle could be put under a life-time warranty at no cost! The next day, I log into my computer and registered my Rifle. Upon completing the registration process, I decided to call ATI to confirmed if they received my information. They said they did and further stated the ATI were offering free upgrades to my Lower Receiver. All I had to do was to send my Rifle to them. I agreed to ship my Rifle and ATI sent me all the necessary materials and instructions to shipped my rifle. I included a list of upgrades I wanted done on my Rifle, including the Upper Receiver. ATI Replaced/Upgraded everything I asked for, including parts I didn't think needed replacing such as the Gas Block, Roger Super Stock and Barrel!! Total Cost: $34 dollars; the cost of the Upper Receiver. I am Very Pleased with ATI. Jennifer Hayes, Carolyn Drabik, the Gunsmith Tyler Gardner and everyone else I communicated with. Bought an Omni Hybrid Maxx, AR15 style rifle in 5.56 Nato/.223 Rem caliber from an on-line dealer (Grab A Gun from Coppell, TX). Gun would not shoot right out of the box. The ATI rep on the phone was trying to encourage me to spend my money on a gunsmith. He made no offer to reimburse me for those potential costs. They sent me a return shipping label and I sent the rifle back to the manufacturer who shipped it back 2 weeks later stating "the barrel was found to have a head space issue". They replaced the barrel, gas block and gas tube, purportedly shot 20 rounds through it and sent it back. Once received I put 65 rounds through the rifle before it failed to fire again. It will not shoot and is the most unreliable weapon I have ever seen. Now ATI is ghosting my phone calls, emails and chat. they are telling me they do not do cash refunds and that I have to go back through the dealer. The dealer will not take any liability for dealing POS weapons. So, I am stuck trying to sell this piece of shit online for whatever and now do the question is do I conceal the issues with this thing? Let some other sucker eat it? Cannot begin to describe how much this sucks. NEVER BUY FROM THESE SOUTH CAROLINA GRIFTERS. Be careful buying from these on-line dealers as well. read more

Bought a 1911 Military .45 and discovered a bent front sight. Sent the slide(per instructions) to ATI for replacement slide I was emailing with Charles in Customer Service regarding when I might see my brand new slide again. He said he would check on it and get back to me. Never happened. I then contacted Jen in Customer Service and she said she would check on the slide and get back to me. Still hasn't happened. What is so hard about receiving one slide and sending a new one. I would estimate a turnaround time of one day. They have had it for 13 days now. Both the customer service employees were polite. But when you say you will do something, I always thought it would get done. I guess that was the old days. read more

She provided me probably the best customer service that I've ever received and I would not hesitate to buy their products in the future due to that. DO NOT Order from this company. I have given them every opportunity to provide basic proof of shipment and they can't seem to grasp that seemingly simple concept. Every other company I have ordered ANYTHING from seems capable of doing it, but these guys can't seem to get it together. I placed a small simple order .. even added one of the upgrades. Of course, payment was taken immediately. The promised 5 to 7 day delivery ( yes, I do understand that means business days ). I would not have been upset if the item had been late .. as long as they emailed shipping and tracking information. After 7 BUSINESS DAYS I requested tracking information. They told me it takes 5-10 business days to recives item. I told them, I understood that .. I just wanted proof of shipment and tracking. 12 BUSINESS DAYS later, they finally admit the order didn't ship and they would reship it. Tonight I get an email from them wanting to know what item it was that I had ordered ( though all of that information is in the body of the same email they sent me ). Now it's gotten ridiculous. I bought an Omni Hybrid, chambered in 5.56, and I have nothing but good things to say about it. I have shot 200 rounds through it without one misfire or jam. The rifle is very comfortable to shoot and is very sturdy. I do recommend keeping a set of Allen wrenches near when putting the first few rounds through it to tighten up things. Otherwise, the rifle is 1/2 the price of a big name AR rifle, and appears to have the same quality and construction as them! I recommend ATI! read more

I bought a very in expensive AR15 while on a hunting trip to Texas, I had never heard of American Tactical before. I had with me already a nice 30.06 for deer, but didn't need such a large caliber for Hog hunting; and I kind of wanted a more appropriate rifle to mount a night vision scope onto. You can hunt Hog using night vision, but the game warden might not like me using a night vision scope on my Deer rifle. So any way I wasn't looking to spend a huge amount on an AR, and so I bought the American Tactical Omni556. The rifle fits the bill perfectly and certainly operated without a flaw, I harvested 6 hogs which converted into 300 + lbs of good meat. My first night out tough I screwed up and lost the little lever that allows for adjustment of the stock and the thumb screw that holds the lever on the stock. I called American Tactical To inquire about replacing the parts that I lost and what the cost might be. Jennifer Hayes answered the phone call at American Tactical, she did not transfer me from department to department, she did not put me on long terminal holds, what she did do was send me the parts at no charge even though I was offering to pay. This is what I call great customer service. And deserving of a positive review. read more

I wish that there was a way to give a negative number review. I bought a pump shotgun from Turners Outdoorsman as a early birthday gift for me . I loved the price and how it looked and felt in my hands. Of course is California I had to wait 10 days before I could bring it home. I have purchased other handguns and rifles so I was extremely happy to add this to my collection. But once I got it home and opened up the box I was very unhappy. The shotgun barrel was not attached to the receiver. I could not get it to go in correctly. I looked to see if there was any instructions but the paper they sent is a waste of time. I then looked at youtube for some help and still no luck. The next day I called the number listed. The lady who answered the phone wanted me to send my shotgun to them but all I wanted was for someone to talk me through it. She took my information and told me that someone would contact me. I had to leave so a friend of mine called back a few hours later and he was guaranteed that someone would get back to him after a couple of hours he called back and was told that they went home for the day. I received a email from the lady that I spoke to but it was the same video that I found myself on youtube which was absolutely no help. While I was at work my friend was able to get the shotgun together but it took him most of the day. I sent another email and asked that someone send me the information on how to breakdown the shotgun so that it can be cleaned and I still have not received anything. I feel like they need to take classes on customer service and to keep to their word when they make a promise. I hate now that I purchased this shotgun because I feel like it is going to be a nightmare to clean. I will be calling Turners tomorrow to see if they can help me out since this company does not care about it customers and I know that I will never purchase anything from this company again. read more

I purchased an ATI MilSport .410 from an local outdoors store. Due to unforseen circumstances, it was 5 months before I was able to really mess with the gun. It wasn't acting right so I field stripped it, cleaned it, and oiled it. Still wasn't right so I contacted ATI. Within 24 hours I had an RMA and a prepaid shipping lable to send it back to them. I sent it to them on a Friday and 11 days later I had the firearm back at my house. They fixed the problem, upgraded some parts, and even done some polishing work that a local gunsmith told me needs to be done on just about every "less than premium" AR platform firearms. This company provided me with second to none customer service, and to me that means everything in a company. I plan on adding another ATI firearm to my collection in the next couple of days. I recently had need of repair for my GSG Firefly. The customer service I received, and ease by which shipping was arranged by American Tactical were extraordinary. They supplied the FedEx shipping label, received the package Friday and within a week informed me of the finished work and expected return date. All accomplished hassle free in eight business days from initial contact to return date. Outstanding simply isn't a good enough word for the service and repair work. read more

Stock but plate will not fold. Stock wobbles and does not function properly. Contacted customer service. No reply. Will not accept return. Posted review. They removed it. I set up a service return and ATI replaced the entire breech assembly and breech block. Warranty repair. Done! ATI reps are good people and the process is clearly explained online. American Tactical Called my husband and basically said his order had all kinds of red flags and reeked of fraud and made him jump through hoops to get an order shipped to him. His California home address didn't match his Texas PO Box. He tried to explain that he is a COVID response ICU travel nurse and we move ever 3 months or so for the past year and a half. They asked for a picture of his California ID (had an old home address on it) and then when it didn't match the new address they wanted a picture of this debit card both sides. I can understand a little, as he there are scams out there. It happened to us just a few weeks ago! But when he told me all the personal information they asked for and pictures of id and debit card, well.....It made me think someone on the other end was trying to scam him! He decided to cancel his order to be safe. Just be careful out there. Don't take pictures of your cards and id and send them to anyone online! read more

I purchased the ATI Omni .410 semi-automatic shotgun. First time out, the gun was having feeding problems. I was able to shoot a few cartridges, but feeding was an issue. After researching the issue, it turns out that when the magazine is slammed into the receiver, you have to pull it back until it clicks in place (ATI Video on youtube). I have tried loading the magazine with this in mind and it fed into the chamber with no issues. I can't wait to get back out to the range. I am confident that this has solved the feeding problem. The shotgun needs 500 rounds to break it in, so it is too early to give a complete report until then. read more

Purchased a 12 Gauge Over & Under (Calvary Brand). Brought home and put together went to use for the first time. Gun shot both shells at the same time, checked to make sure all was together correct and it was. Re tried to shoot again and same thing. Called company numerous times couldn't reach anyone. Tried to leave messages that wasn't working on there end. Next step was to go to the email system and wrote an email (no reply)..Next day called again finally reached someone who gave me the run around! She said she would email me a fed ex label..that took days..so long story short took numerous emails, calls & still don't have the new gun in our hands. It's been a 3+ week process just to return and receive a new on. Will never deal With this company again! We even ask for a full refund and they have refused! read more

I've been trying to order a front sight for one of their firearms (customers gun). 8 months and 9 calls later, I am still trying to get it. The original front sight broke and fell off. Throughout the 8 months, I have been told that the item is on back-order. With most manufacturers/importers, this is a no-brainer, you stand behind the customer, but apparently customer service is not one of their strong suits. Had one contact in which I was told to fill out the warranty portion on their site, I did so than called back no one picked up so I left a message and no return call or emails!!! I work as a Customer service manager, and I am shocked how bad this has been. We get told all the time how fast we respond though we have clients worldwide. So this saddened me. I also wish there was a negative number to rate this company. I bought a new ATI AR 15 recently. It looked top rate but I forgot to check it at the gunshop ; once home I found the cocking handle would not work as its spring had fallen out . Then I tried to push out the rear pin to open the receiver , found it very tight. Had to use a punch /hammer to open the rifle. Then it would not close as the upper and lower receivers were at least 4mm!!! apart leaving a gap at the rear of the frame!!! This made it impossible to reassemble , so it was not able to fire anything. The next day I took it back to the gunshop and the manager rapidly refunded me my money after seeing the defect. It seems that someone had forced the upper /lower receivers together with much force just to get it shipped to some sucker buyer. Good thing it did not go someone buying their first AR15 as such a out of spec rifle could lead to a case explosion and jams. I have owned over 10 different big brands in AR 15 but have have never seen such a huge defect in manufacturing. read more
