Installers where polite, nice n quick. Cleaned up and did the install right. Only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is the communication could have been a little better but it easy Miami I guess. Lol. Highly recommended n definitely will use again if I'm in the need of carpet again

In fall of 2014, we purchased Mannington Adura LVT (Luxury vinyl tiles) from Juan Werner at…read moreAmericarpet in Miami. The flooring, approx. 1000 square feet, was for most of our condo, except our bedroom. We asked Juan to recommend an installer and he said Victor Santillana was "his best installer". Because of Juan's recommendation, we waited a few months for Victor to install the flooring, Dec. 2014. A few months later, in Feb, 2015, we noticed some tiles were lifting. We called Victor, who said the floor would "settle in". Not only did it not settle down, it got worse. Instead of just lifting in one area in the hall, areas of tile in our entire condo were lifting. Just before we left Florida in April for our Canadian home, we let both Victor AND Juan know there was a big problem. We then notified Mannington, who examined the floors during the summer. They said lifting tiles were "Due to improper installation". We tried to communicate with Victor about this issue, but he ignored us. We then reached out to Juan, who came back to our condo in March 2017, with another flooring installer. We also had independent installers examine the floor. They all said the same thing - The entire condo, 1000 sq. feet of tile, had to be replaced with new tiles. Victor had not only left little expansion space at some of the walls, but he had damaged the click & lock mechanism during installation. Juan tried to reach Victor, but got no response. We also tried for months to reach him, but he would not answer. At that point, Juan left us with no recourse to fix this floor. He offered NO resolution to this improperly, installed floor that HIS recommended installer had laid. And in fact, he asked us to sign a waiver saying he was no longer responsible! That is NOT how a reputable business should operate. Americarpet & Juan need to guarantee the work of THEIR recommended installers. And if it is not done right, they are responsible to fix it! We are now left with flooring, throughout our entire condo, that is lifting & unattractive. At some point, we will have to replace the whole thing at a cost of about $10,000! I would NEVER do business with Juan or Americarpet again, or recommend them to friends.

Immediately after posting the need for floor installation, I was on the phone with Eric, one of their sales reps., and we schedule a physical inspection and measurement of the property in question. The next day we met at the townhouse. Eric was concise, prepared, knowledgeable, and considerate. I presented him with the needs of the project at hand and he presented me we a set of options based on my budget. He was patient enough to let me make up my mind as I listened to other offers and compared quotes. And when I settled on Empire he immediately helped me schedule the installation. Getting the job done was flawless. Vanessa, who orchestrated the installation from Empire central, is quite good at keeping you informed, and maintaining the installed and me in constant contact as they made their way to my property for installation. They even called me when the installers picked up the materials to let me know they would soon be on the way to the property after another stop! The team in charge of the installation, led by Oscar Silvestre, was also incredibly profession, friendly, and knowledgeable. They did a job that years prior had taken installers an entire day in only half with double the quality of the previous installers. All in all, I was immensely satisfied with the job Empire did on my property. I thank them and for the reasons listed above highly recommend.

I was given a service window for today, from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. I cleared my entire schedule, took a day off from work, and lost a full day's revenue to be available. No one showed up. Not a single technician. Worse than the no-show was the complete and total breakdown in communication. I called Empire Flooring's customer service three separate times throughout the day, desperate for an ETA or an update. Each call was an exercise in futility. The representatives, while polite, were utterly powerless. They admitted they could not get in touch with their own service technicians or dispatch. They couldn't even reach a service manager. Not once did anyone from Empire Flooring--not a technician, not a manager, not a dispatcher--have the basic decency to call me to inform me they were running late, to provide a new ETA, or to tell me they weren't coming. I was left in limbo for ten full hours, staring at my ruined floor and waiting by the phone like a fool. This is not just poor service; it is profoundly disrespectful and unprofessional. You have wasted my entire day, cost me money from my job, and shown zero regard for my time or my significant investment in your product. The complete lack of internal coordination and customer courtesy is staggering. My expensive flooring is defective, and your company has demonstrated it cannot be trusted to honor its warranty or perform the most basic customer service function: communication. I am beyond disappointed. I feel cheated and ignored. Save yourself the immense frustration and financial risk. Look elsewhere. A company that treats its customers and their time with this much contempt after taking their money does not deserve your
