I was VERY DISAPPOINTED with this business and Fernando. I had crown moulding installed in my kitchen and Master bedroom and bath. Getting an appointment with this guy is REALLY HARD. Then in my Master bathroom a small section of moulding needed to be done to complete the job. I am in the middle of remodeling this area and this missing moulding is holding up the project. 10-star rating by a hard to please perfectionist. I am having a house built and I have a particularly high ceiling at the entryway, and all outside corners are rounded. I was looking for a place to do my crown molding and was running out of options doing searches on the internet. I had looked at some photos of their work and decided to include CrownMax in the estimate pool. It was difficult to understand the woman over the phone but once I got to meet Louis, he was very friendly and professional. He brought samples and measured efficiently. He gave me options on the estimate and was available to install quickly. He said it would be two days for about a 2,300sqft house. The price was reasonable and less expensive from another company. The crew showed up on time to install. They started working right away and they were very efficient. They measured the cuts 1st. They had a guy cutting and a couple guys installing. They had others coming after to caulk. The guy asked me if I wanted the outside corners cut one way or another way. I didn't know what the difference was so the guy said he'd be back. He came inside from cutting examples and I was able to make up my mind. They cleaned up when they were done for the day. We liked it so much, we called Louis to see if he could bring more material to do more of the house that we originally didn't want. He said it wasn't a problem. The next day, they came back on time and were in the house working before I got there. My superintendent let them in. They were painting and caulking and installing the additional molding. Louis came by to see how things were going. I asked him to estimate doing the baseboards since it all looked so nice. He accommodated various difference estimates for options. Before the guys left, they asked me to look over their work. I tried to find bad spots to correct and I only found 2 nail holes that they overlooked, a paint drip mark, and one 3" spot that the paint didn't cover. That was the only thing I could find in the 2,300sqft house. Every corner was meticulously joined, calked, and painted. I can catch every tiny detail but there was nothing to really complain about. Great job but a great company. We originally hired them years ago to do some crown molding which they did a good job. But recently we hired them to do some chair rails. Once again they did a really good job. They were on time, on the day they gave us to do the install. Their price was very good compared to others we had quoted.
