They disavowed ever having worked with us. Take it for whatever it is worth. This wasn't an effort to rate them low, but then they disavowed us as clients. The review is real. The work was not nearly as high-quality as we would have hoped for with the cost. As far as we could tell, they did not do more than a primer on the walls. There were many detail-related issues that fell short. The contractor was really never on site. It was very rarely that he came to check on the work of his team. Mostly he just was not there to see if his crew was doing quality work. He would come after they left and then say he would tell them later. He was never there at the same time as him as far as we know. We had a bathroom remodeled and the paint they used was not suited to be used over a shower, as the ceiling above the shower immediately began peeling upon use. It looks awful and started looking awful right away. There are multiple areas where we had to fix them on our own. They touched up areas of the paint with a different paint than the first paint, so you can see patches. The crawlspace door, for example, was so poorly re-attached after painting it, that it fell off almost immediately. The wet bar was installed such that when they reconnected the pipes, it leaked and flooded part of the basement and ruined some of the brand new floors they had just put in. We needed to replace the kickplate on the cabinet under the sink due to the water damage. Every time we pointed something out that had not been done, they said it was supposedly not what we initially said we wanted. Be VERY specific about what you want, down to the small details. Document it. In addition, they told us they might fix stuff, but they had no time to come back later due to other pending jobs. And it took FOREVER to finish. The price would have been fine overall, but considering how much we had to address on our own, we are not at all satisfied with what we got for the money. It is not ok to have to follow up on a full remodel and have to fix stuff on our own after the fact. To summarize, the basement is better than it was before, but not nearly as good quality of the work we thought we would get. Would not recommend. This job cost us $23k. We felt like we were just a space-filler job between other more important and profitable jobs to them, and the end result was an obvious testament to their "quality" and "flawless" work. We would have persisted about the inadequacy in the work, but by the time it was done, we were over it.

I hired Ruther Construction to tear off my roof and replace it with an owens corning roof…read more They started my job within just 2 weeks and did a complete tear off of layers that had to go back to the early 1900s when the house was built, must have been 2 layers of shake and 2 layers of shingles, and replaced it with a new owens corning roof with all the trimmings on my 2 story with attched 1 story addition in just 3 days. He was even willing to negotiate details of the job that other roofing companies would not consider to lower the costs, such as my providing the 30 yard dumpster and haul away. His crew made sure that they did an efficent job cleaning up and making sure that all trash and debri made it into that dumpster as well. I had been taking bids on that roof for over 2 years and Derrick took pride in outshining them all with first his price and then his performance. The job was completed on a Saturday except for 1 roof vent with a manufacture defect that we could not purchase until the following Monday. Even though Derrick had been paid in full for the project, he showed back up personally and installed the vent him self without having to be hounded to finish it. I needed a new gutter installed after that and i was so happy with Derricks performance on the job, Derrick and he had proved to me that his companies reputation and that my satisfaction was his number 1 personal concern, that i just gave him the gutter work no bid. Before hiring them, we specifically asked whether pool installation was something they did regularly, and the project manager, Luke, assured us it was. The project began on June 1. The first day of leveling went well. On the second day, one of the installers fell onto the assembled steel pool wall while climbing out, leaving a noticeable crease. Shortly afterward, the pool developed leaks. We witnessed the incident ourselves, and it was also captured on our security cameras. When we brought it to Luke's attention, he disputed that it had happened. Over the following weeks, we experienced multiple missed appointments and no-call/no-shows. When the crew returned, they were unable to resolve the leaks. We eventually hired an independent local pool contractor to inspect the installation. He documented multiple installation issues and concluded that the pool needed to be disassembled and rebuilt with a new liner and proper padding beneath the liner. We purchased the replacement liner and the required padding ourselves. Because we had a family vacation planned, we told Boscage we needed the project completed by July 5. We were assured this would not be a problem. Instead, the pool was torn down, approximately 4,500 gallons of chemically treated water were drained into neighboring yards, and the pool was partially reassembled with about 6 inches of water so the liner could settle overnight. The crew said they would return the next day to finish the installation by cutting the skimmer and return openings. They never showed up or contacted us. When we inspected the work ourselves, we found multiple-inch gaps in the cove padding around the pool. No one had informed us additional material was needed, and we would have purchased it immediately if asked. We raised these concerns, and instead of completing the job before our agreed deadline, we were told the earliest they could return would be July 20. I asked for written confirmation that it was safe to leave the partially assembled pool in this condition for multiple weeks. That request was declined. I also asked them either to reimburse us for having a qualified pool installer complete the work or to refund the project so we could hire someone else. Both requests were declined. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend Boscage Landscaping. Instead, I recommend staying far away.

This treatment was on 9/4/2025. I called back on 9/16 about killing my grass and never heard a response. I called again on 9/19 and supposedly talked to a regional manager who said the earliest he could come by was mid morning on 9/22. I waited till 1:00 and never heard from him. I guess he did stop by later that day, but I wasn't there due to another appt Never heard back from him on what he found about the issue. I spoke to 3 people in the office and sent pictures to them on the way my lawn looked and they said they would forward the pictures and someone would be in contact. Once again no one called and it's been 3 weeks. This has been a 2 month ordeal with no response from Nature Scape to resolve the problem. I told the earlier that I need a refund for the last 3 applications which 2 of them haven't been scheduled yet. Terrible customer service and poor results. All my neighbor's yards are green and look good and none of them even treat their yards. ???
