I wouldn't trust my fur baby with anyone else. Joelyne treated my little guy like one of her own. It gives me peace of mind knowing that I can trust someone to care for him the way I would at home--maybe even better, lol. Prance Around Pet Services is highly recommended, highly professional, and highly appreciated. I'll keep coming back again and again and again!

My initial call was returned quickly, and Joelyne was friendly, professional, and enthusiastic about meeting my dog. She was timely in sending the onboarding paperwork, and completing the set-up was easy. She set up a Zoom call (since my request for service was only 2 days away), and "met" me and my dog virtually. It was perfect. Every day while I was away, one of Prance Around's team members showed up during my specified window and walked my dog for 45 minutes. I received a custom walk report via email every day following the walk, and it usually included pictures. I LOVE that feature! While on vacation, a family member became critically ill and required hospitalization immediately upon our return to the US. I was able to email Prance Around and extend service for an additional week without any problems. Our service commitment ended, and only a few short days later, my family member was back in the hospital. With only a day's notice, I was able to contact Prance Around and get my dog back on their schedule. No hassles. No problems. Joelyne and her crew are incredibly kind, generous, and empathetic. It has been such a relief to know that I can call on them to take care of my girl and not have any worries. I would, without hesitation, absolutely recommend Prance Around Pet Services, and I will continue to use them as our needs arise. Thank you, Joelyne, for making these last two weeks a lot less stressful and for taking such good care of my girl!

I would encourage people to not be deterred by any negative reviews of this business and give them a chance and formulate your own opinion. An error did occur in one of our visits, but I won't go into detail because I think what's more important is not what error it was that occurred, but rather the incredible efforts made in response by the business to rectify the issue. Our concerns were listened to and the response was respectful. The owner not only heard our concerns but they were able to show they can be objective in their assessment of the issue. They went above and beyond to make it right. The solutions offered were both incredibly generous and fair. In terms of the quality of the grooming, they made our fur babies look like pristine angels. They smell fantastic too, and their hair looked amazingly glossy and soft. They appear to do great with grooming both small and large dogs (we have both), and they even did great work on our big boy who has hair that's more difficult to work with. In resolving the issue with one of our pups, they blended things perfectly to make the original issue appear more natural and less jarring. The staff there seem to love what they do, have patience, and take pride in their work. They have great humor as well. We will be happy to take our fur babies there again.

It was especially important that I find a good trainer to address these behaviors because there are so many people out there ready to judge pit bulls, and, well, who likes being dragged around by their dog? A friend recommended Bark Busters and I was really grateful for the referral because I was worried that I'd end up with a trainer that would be rough with my dog, Bear, or would over-rely on treats, or that would just be expensive without results. I went to the Bark Busters website and filled out the survey about my dog's behaviors and within an hour I got a call from a Bark Busters trainer. While the quote she gave me seemed very expensive at first, she explained that this one-time fee covered all of the training Bear would ever need--for life! If he ever had future issues I could just call and set up an appointment and we'd work on whatever the issue was. So I bit the bullet and set up our initial appointment. What a GRAND day! In just two hours ALL of Bear's problem behaviors were addressed. He won't race to get up and down steps before me, he barks very little and stops instantly when I tell him to, he stays away from the door when people knock, and he HEELS like the most perfect little angel on our walks. It's incredible. Marsha Engel was a real professional--she explained dogs' perception of things in a way that made sense and helped me understand how to interact with Bear in the most effective way. I couldn't be happier with Bark Busters and Marsha. If you need your dog trained call Bark Busters.

BUT I don't see how this business is the villain because where there is demand there will eventually be supply. If someone is a breeder full time and they sell puppies and make a living off of it they are somehow better than a business (freestanding store) that does the same? If you don't want tp support this business then, well, don't! but don't write crappy reviews if you don't have your facts in order because then YOU BECOME the hypocrite because you never received services from this business. ****Health guarantee was great, two healthy dogs, great caring staff who were sad and happy to see me adopt my puppy. Well, it's true when they say you can never go back. The Hard Times cafe was destroyed and replaced by a bank, and the Just Puppies is a sad, depressing shell of what it once was. You were once able to open up any cage and take out a puppy. They you could walk it over to a small play area and have it run about for a bit. Or if the rooms were filled, you could simply hold the puppy in your arms. Then they locked up all the cages and you needed permission to pick up a puppy. Now, you need to give your photo ID to handle a puppy. The end result is that the puppies are getting petted and handled a lot less often, leaving them whimpering and longing for attention. Add to this the dog pee on the floor around the cages and you're left with a pretty depressing place (and depressing yelp review!). Whatever was once good about this place is long gone. Now it's just a urine-soaked puppy mill.

I honestly felt like there was extra walking to enter this location. I usually try to not come to one of these locations unless I really have to. But with the last litter box purchase it seems that the only place that is a brick and mortar store is a Petco, unless I go the route of online shopping. It has been hit and miss when showing up to a location in hopes to finding items for the litter box. Sometimes they have the items, but other times I have to travel further or order online. Walking in here, I didn't have high hope because of that. I was in luck this day, the item I needed was in stock and I was able to grab it and go. Well, go at a leisurely pace that is. When I got up front I was met with a lackluster employee who could have cared less if I was in the store or not.

I did not receive a refund, but I hope to since I filed a case with corporate HR! My dog didn't even have the groom smell! I'm devastated! I had 9 previous grooms at this location with another groomer (Jade) who no longer works there. She was awesome. This has never happened before and my puppy is only 11 months old! Kimberly and inappropriate Brittany need to be reprimanded and fired. I'm upset with Brittany because she got involved in my conversation rudely and unprofessionally! I always sort my wet food cans by flavor so the cashier can more easily scan the cans. A previous cashier (who provided good customer service) once thanked me for that. Some cashiers then just place the cans into the bag, keeping them relatively orderly, whereas increasingly, I've gotten cashiers who just toss them into the bag in a big "mess." Not the biggest deal in the world, but it's annoying. How hard is it to just place the cans in the bag? The cashier I ran into yesterday was....not great at customer service. I definitely felt like it was an inconvenience that I was even there. She of course tossed all those cans into the bag, which I had to ask for in the first place. She gets the prize for roughest tossing. I had a coupon for one of the items. When I got out to my car, I discovered the coupon didn't take. I went back in to tell her and I was met with an attitude. She pulled the coupon back out and got her manager. He seemed annoyed by the whole thing as well. He immediately accused her of giving me the coupon back, asking her something like, "Why does she have it?" I didn't, she did. But obviously I would want it back if it didn't take. The manager did honor the coupon, which I appreciated, but there was a rough attitude there. No wonder the cashier was rude as well? I left feeling really uncomfortable, and don't plan on returning any time soon. (I also left feeling slightly concerned about any animals in their care. If that's how they treat a human who can leave reviews, how do they treat animals without voices? Hopefully they like the animals better than the annoying human customers.)
