Inside is a plethora of goods with something for everyone. The store is clean with no musty 'antique' odor. Items are provided by various vendors and are artfully displayed with very reasonable prices. There are collectibles, costume jewelry, vintage books/ephemera, toys, vintage records, household items, bicycles, vintage clothing /accessories, and much, much more. I was told that vendors change the merchandise in their areas often, meaning that there should be new items to see on future visits. The shop is contained in 2 small houses next to each other, on the corner of Evergreen Rd and Old Shelbyville Rd. The staff in both shops were very welcoming and friendly, leaving us to browse without stress. Plenty of dedicated parking is around the buildings. Allow plenty of time for your visit so that you can see all the goodies! You are likely to find something that you didn't know you needed!

It consists of a barn and a nearby house originally built in 1912. The main store (barn) is well laid out and easily navigated. Each vendor has an area with a marked tag and of someone buys something from that section then the seller gets the profit agreed upon between them and and the mall. These locations Are plentiful in Louisville. This particular one is located in the hillview portion of Louisville just off Preston highway right before you get to the bullitt county line. Rather large location compared to other ones. I've been here several times over the years to do some bargain shopping or browsing. A lot of the items in these stores will give you nostalgic feels. My most recent visit was to help my father get a Mother's Day gift for my mom as he bought a rocking chair for there front porch and needed my vehicle to transport it. Overall all peddlers mall are cool to search through. Neat idea that evidently is successful as there are a whole bunch of locations in the Louisville area. I have a few family friends and relatives who have had booths at different locations over the years and they seemed to do well with it. So seems like a win win situation.

Besides cats, this place also has some really cool clothes -- all of them old, and all of them carefully curated and thoughtfully chosen. I can tell when a vintage clothing store has done its due diligence when I flip through the racks and I want to buy more than a few things. I was THIS close to buying a Western pearl snap shirt, but really: how many pearl snap shirts does a girl need? Regretfully, I put the shirt back on the rack. Hopefully, some other savvy person snapped it up. The Odd Shop has a lot of clothing, but it has just as much vintage toys, records, ephemera and trinkets for sale. Walking into the store is like walking into your (or probably my) childhood, because there are so many things from the 1980s and 90s for sale. So many Smurfs dolls! Mickey Mouse roller skates!
