I have never been to this before I've seen it 100 times while passing, but never really thought about it and then one day my wife wanted to stop in there and we did and I absolutely loved it. Peddlers mall is basically a designed shop for people to sell old and sometimes new merchandise all setup inside of a storefront. Think of a inside yard sale or a flea market. Each vendor has an area with a marked tag and of someone buys something from that section then the seller gets the profit agreed upon between them and and the mall. These locations Are plentiful in Louisville. This particular one is located in the hillview portion of Louisville just off Preston highway right before you get to the bullitt county line. Rather large location compared to other ones. I've been here several times over the years to do some bargain shopping or browsing. A lot of the items in these stores will give you nostalgic feels. My most recent visit was to help my father get a Mother's Day gift for my mom as he bought a rocking chair for there front porch and needed my vehicle to transport it. Overall all peddlers mall are cool to search through. Neat idea that evidently is successful as there are a whole bunch of locations in the Louisville area. I have a few family friends and relatives who have had booths at different locations over the years and they seemed to do well with it. So seems like a win win situation. read more

This is by far the worst "mall", "flea market mall", "antique mall", that I have EVER been to!!! This place is full of what looks to be leftover junk from a garage sale that nobody wanted. If you like ugly fake flowers, laundry detergent, old clothes worse than Goodwill, broken down booths, old appliances, then maybe you would like it. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME LIKE I DID!!! read more

Definitely not my favorite but definitely the best priced of all the peddler malls that I have been too. When I get moved I am definitely going to this location. I was able to find a dinette table and chairs for $50, antique dress for $150, chest of drawers for $45, bed frame with head board for $150 and mattress set for $100...less than $500 for 2 rooms. Tons of great items definitely will be back, again and again. If you have never been you should go soon... read more

Out of all the Peddler Malls this one is probably my favorite. A little bit of everything is there. Furniture, clothes, beds, bed ware, dvd movies, antiques, glass ware, toys, tools, hand made crafts, wood pieces, steel pieces, candles, etc, etc, etc. You name it it's probably in there. And if it's not it probably will be the following month. People rent booths monthly and bring "what ever" in hoping to sell. So, it's hit & miss on what is in there. For the most part it's fairly neat and organized inside. There is always that 1 booth or 2 that seems to be a wreck. But the majority of the booths seem to be maintained and organized enough to allow you to see what they have. The store is laid out well so you can start at one end of the store and go up and down each isle to end up at the other side of the store. Another plus is that they have shopping carts as you walk in. If you find something you want, simply take it up to the register to pay. read more

Local peddlers mall close to lots of food! Several of the vendors here list their items on fb sites - that makes it easier to claim a piece or make other arrangements with the owner. You will find a little bit of everything in this store. From brand new still boxed up to ... omg did they actually bring that in here. Clothing, furniture, dishes, brand new candles that actually smell great. Grab a cart and spend some time people watching and shopping. read more

Peddler's Malls are is a chain of flea markets that fall somewhere between antique mall and yard sale. This particular location seems to be one of the busiest in Louisville. It is one of my favorites because its good size (several aisles of booths). Because anyone can rent a booth and sell whatever, the majority of items inside will sometimes shift toward a giant yard sale or even a thrift store. And at times, the place can seem like an antique mall with inexpensive prices.... and great finds. Its one of those places that you might hate one month and love the next. Like many PMs, this one is in an old pre-Supercenter Walmart building. The men's restroom is a little spooky... it may be clean, but it is usually so dimly lit that I can't tell. It's hard to give this place a high rating, because it's very dependent on what you're looking for. If you're into treasure hunting for collectibles, this place is a 4-star review for you. If you're looking for just a place to shop for home goods, it's a 1-star. I'm a collectible hunter, and enjoyed my trip thoroughly. Firstly, the place is filthy. If I didn't have my tetanus shot, I would have left immediately. It's individuals who rent booth space, but items can walk from one area to another, so I feel for the people who sell here possibly losing their goods. Most booths are trashed. After walking past a few and noticing the trend, I decided it was time to dig for anything good. Most booths I would just browse and not touch anything. Some booths stank. The bathroom was absolutely repugnant. We went next door to Tractor Supply to relieve ourselves. I felt bad for the employees of Peddler's Mall, as they had a sign to please not flush anything other than waste and toilet paper. I could tell they try, but that the clientele blatantly disregards all public restroom manners. I viewed the entire store rather quickly, as I can pick out a booth that has any interest to me fairly fast. It's a big place. You're not going to find any bricks of gold here, but there are some good items for cheap (or at lease there was on my visit). The ladies working the registers were super nice. They were so polite that it pained me to think they might be the ones having to deal with the bathroom issues from customers. The customers in the store were 90% sketchy folks that I kept my eye on when near them. Don't bring kids here. I'll stop here again next time I pass through. I'll bring gloves next time. read more

This is a nice peddlers mall. It is a bit of drive if you live in the general area that I live in- but I did find the drive to be worth it. Ive been to this peddlers mall a few times, but during my last visit I was looking for a dining room table set. I didn't end up finding one, but I find a ton of vintage pyrex and Corelle dishes and it honestly made my entire week. Even though I did find a few nice things, this location did seem to lack in the booths- meaning a lot were empty or basically empty. Also, this peddlers mall lacks in furniture, but has tons of mattresses and box springs that are new in plastic. read more

I purchased a mini fridge from Patrick mcglinchey on Facebook market. It was located at the peddlers mall. He said they had all Been tested and worked. Buyers beware this is how they get you. Apparently in order to move it you're not allowed to Lay it down-- (who would know that) so i went to check out and they told me not to turn it in for 24 hours. So i turned it on 28 hours later waited until morning morning. Contacted the selller. He told me I had 6 hours to Some how magically carry 100 Lbs down 3 flights of stairs, rent a truck and return it. I thanked him but told him i needed more time bc it's 1 pm and i was at work with no truck and no one to help. He didn't care. Said i shouldn't have turned it on it's side But there was no notice, no sign and obviously the manager knew it was not going to work but let me buy it any ways. $100 down the drain read more

Can find some really great deals here. The location hosts a wide variety of vendor booths so you may find booths with antique glass to rugs to comics and dvds to bizarre poster art that makes you wonder who the heck sells this stuff. I am partial to this peddlers mall because of the finds and the prices. I have found many a treasure here. Old hardcover books in immaculate condition. The cutest porcelain dish brush holder shaped like a cat. A wide variety of antique glass pieces. A wrought iron outdoor table and chairs set. However, the MANAGEMENT needs to learn to curb their attitude and get some customer service training. First of all, they treat their customers like all are plotting to steal from them. Their store is covered in signs that sound accusatory about buying drinks first or not carrying bags in larger than a certain size. If I didn't know any better I'd think they were the TSA! I had a well-to-do relative buy a big ticket item from them and upon leaving they demanded to look through her purse -- well below the size on the signs. And said relative did allow them to, though she was so disgusted, she hasn't been back since. They obviously have a shoplifting / fraud issue but that's no reason to treat anyone who shops with you poorly. It certainly will drive your customers with the deepest pockets right out. Gives the whole store an unsafe vibe. On a side note, if a customer is buying something from the cashier and management is sitting on their rear gabbing nearby, they really shouldn't start yelling things like "what is that?" To the cashier, as though to say "ew, who would buy that?" And then give dubious expressions on response from the customer. The vintage figurine in question was well underpriced and anyone would be thrilled to find it-- if they know what it is. Plain ignorant and rude. read more

Dangerous to your life as majority of booths floor space is cluttered with junk, thusly you cannot walk within the booths safely!! Management does NOT care as this has been brought to their attention numerous times. Owner John George absent locally, as his contracts that vendors sign when leasing a booth clearly states the floor is to be kept clean and navigatable. Warning to anybody thinking of becoming a vendor: This will be my final month of being a vendor at the Prestown Highway Peddler's Mall and I can tell quite clearly that I'm certainly not alone in leaving. The staff there is exceptionally rude to vendors, treating them as peasants almost and like were not worthy of their time. More than that though, they're simply rude and display constantly how low-class they and this establishment is. In addition, items are constantly stolen and the staff will do nothing about it. Rather they have treated me, a vendor like a criminal and constantly are going through my items and eyeing me. As far as shopping goes, the simple fact is this place will never be a beacon of low priced quality items until the staff begins to care enough to treat the vendors with respect, until then vendors will continue to leave as they have been and will continue to do so. Let me stress, that this might not be the case with all peddler's malls in the areas, however it is certainly the case with this one. read more
