The driver could have parked anywhere in the lot but had to park by our room. I complained to the clerk but nothing was done to correct the problem. It felt more like a rundown motel than a Hilton. The bed wasn't much better--the fitted sheet kept popping off because it wasn't the correct size. Personal reason for why I wasn't able to go to the front desk when we arrived. On this trip alone, I stayed at four different Hilton properties and didn't have a single problem anywhere else. The ladies at breakfast were so accommodating, kept everything refilled and didn't turn away folks even after closing. The room for breakfast was small so there was always a line or a wait at any given time. The housekeeper's spoke everytime you pass them. My room was well stocked with ampel towels and the featured toiletries were from Paya, which I'd never heard of but they smelled nice. Checkout is at 11, got to my room after closing ceremonies at 1105 to grab bags (I checked in 20 minutes after guaranteed time, mind you) to find the room key was deactivated. Staff couldn't open the door for me, to retrieve my already packed bags, "by new policy this morning". Also, the conference area is through the casino- so you have to show your ID to even attend the conference WHICH THERE IS NO ALTERNATIVE ENTRY OPTION.
