Upon check-in, a rude male insisted my mother-n-law had 2 rooms reserved under her name when she only had 1. His voice raised almost to the point of yelling at her. My room key didn't work. Had to get it rekeyed 4 times over the 12-hours we stayed in this dump. Mold & mildew everywhere. Before getting handed the key, the male took air freshener & sprayed the room so bad I had to let it air out for hours. Even with all that air freshener, it did not mask the mold/mildew odor. Large Indian family lives at the hotel & it felt like we were invading their space with the kids opening their doors to look at us. Lots of yelling coming from several rooms. No A/C on in common areas lobby, halls, etc. in July in the midwest. The entire town knows what a dump this place is. The only reason we stayed here was because the hotel down the street was completely booked. We had no other choice. This place needs to be condemned. I will be contacting the health department next. Strongly advise not to waste your $ here or your health. Shame on Wyndham for allowing this disgusting hotel to be associated with their name.

You also get a free homemade breakfast, and you can eat it outside on the large porch while watching the birds and cats. Examples of breakfast entrees served are a breakfast quiche, breakfast casserole, and french toast. The couple who owns the inn is friendly too, and they like to come over and chat while you're eating. Because of this, I added a star to the rating. Otherwise, I would not stay here. There is no internet access, free wi-fi, cell phone service, or even phone in the rooms. No amenities, such as shampoo, conditioner, razor, or soap, is provided. I think this is bad when you've been traveling on an airplane. You are provided access to a refrigerator (unlimited sodas and bottled water - though they ran out of water) and microwave. There really isn't housekeeping service. The trash cans are never emptied (really bad after you've been on a road trip), the bed is never made for you, sheets aren't changed during your stay, and towels are replaced every other day (it seems). The worst part of the stay though was the smell of hydrogen sulfide whenever you ran the water. Because of this, I won't stay here again. If someone takes a shower, the whole room smells like rotten eggs, and it's disgusting. The same applies to brushing your teeth. If you brushed your teeth and used the tap water instead of bottled water, you'd have this rancid taste in your mouth. Gross!

The room has a big selection of tv channels and the WiFi was easy to connect to. Being on the 1st floor I thought it might be noisy but it was extremely quiet.
