2014 Ford Focus ST. I needed a second or spare fob for emergencies and did not want to pay dealer prices on a 2014 keyfob. I went to another business but they while they did have the part, they were not sucessful in programming the key fob. Thousand Oaks Automotive, which is our personal mechanic and we have used them for our cars for years. They recommended Amerikeys immediately and said they would sort me out. Which I have to say, they did! I called them over the weekend and told them my request of getting a spare fob. They asked me to send a picture to confirm the model and type of key they needed to get for me. On Tuesday they told me they had the keyfob ready for me and I made an appointment to come in the next day. When I showed up, I was immediately greeted and I told them that I was here for the key fob and programming. I did let them know beforehand that I had gone to two other places and they were unsuccessful in programming a fob with the car. They did not give up! They did get the unsuccessful programming wall the other stores had, but they had a solution! A few machines later, they finally found one that had the magic touch and was successful in getting a keyfob programmed to my car. I was pleasantly suprised and glad I was sent here to get what I needed. What's better is that this is a small business and I am all for supporting those! They have my business going forward and I now have a locksmith in my back pocket!! If you need a keyfob/battery/anything related to locksmiths, just come here. I have had difficulty getting usable duplicates made for the side door of my RV. I went to another locksmith on two occasions and had little success. The first time the key was completely unusable and the second time it worked intermittently. Amerikeys has a number of key cutting machines, including a machine that can cut a key by code. Fast and reasonable!! The unlock button on my Ford truck key quit - key still works in the ignition, but won't unlock doors. Very impressed with the level of service provided by Pete and Lisa. Pete rekeyed a couple vehicle door cylinders for me at a tremendous savings compared to local dealerships. Had a concern after the fact, and called and left a message since it was after closing time.
