This place is horrible. I've been fighting with them to get my certificate for years. They always find something else they want. I just paid $375 for another evaluation they said, I need. Still haven't gotten one. Had to get another driving record. More money wasted. Lost 3 jobs because, I can't get to work. My step mother died. Couldn't go visit before she passed or goto the funeral. ( Out of state) I've paid thousands because, of them. Worst fuckin place. No one I know has said, anything good about them.they make you redo everything twice I've heard. Staff is rude as fuck. Can't leave minus stars. This place is a joke. Staff are rude pompous and will do everything in thier power to not give you your license back. Let me share my experience. I was forced to deal with this place and after getting the joke of the LDAC the ldac sent me someone else's evaluation not once but twice. I had to get the state involved my lawyer and the dmv. Then after requesting my file this place sent me ANOTHER PERSONS PERSONAL INFORMATION. For the 3rd time. So 2 separate persons vital information has been sent to me. Medical and alcohol addiction treatment. Such a joke of a business please anyone who may have had thier information compromised please reach out to me ill assist you with filing a suit against these people. This is not a joke the 1 person currently lives in Florida and the other attends meetings in Fitchburg Groton ares back in February so if this is you reach out to me I will fill you in. Never ever do I leave reviews but I'm gonna with THIS PLACE!!! Never ever have I been so dehumanized by ANYONE than I have by this place!!! They don't answer or help with questions or ANYTHING and if you do then they will hang up the phone on you or speak over you everytime and get mad whenever you try to get a word in but then have the audacity to tell you that you owe them money monthly when THEY DO NOTHING FOR YOU AND TREAT YOU LIKE YOUR A POS!! They will steal your money and continue to try to steal every dollar from you! Horrified The director Bob Kelley speaks to a woman like he had with me!! My sponsor is a gay man and pretty much told me FLAT OUT that was wrong and not okay so therefore I must be lying that I haven't been in recovery for 5 years!!! Also the money they try to squeeze from you just for treating you like a pos and don't even help!! I honestly wish there was a method to give negative stars in the case of this particular organization. Amethyst Foundation is a complete disaster of a business due to several reasons. I feel as though I have been dragged through the mud by Amthest because they hold so many procedures and costs over ones head. Despite the unnecessary charges and unresponsiveness, the employees are the real problem. The ladies that work in the sad little building they call a workplace are the most miserable people I have ever come in contact with. These women believe they are above the law and will do anything to avoid a questioning of their process. I was so desperate to speak to someone who could answer my questions and ease my mind that I even had someone drive me to the building. Once I got there I couldn't even find a front door so I proceeded to the back of the building because there was a sign that pointed to an "office". I knocked on the door and the secretary immediately slammed the door in my face. I then called them and informed them I was the one waiting outside and then was told I was not allowed in their building. I told them I didn't care about coming in, all I wanted was my questions to be answered. Despite my request I was asked to leave over the phone. I left enraged and disappointed because the entire process behind the Amethyst Foundation is a sick and twisted puzzle that no one is able to get past with ease. This place is not worthy of a star. It needs to be burned to the ground. I got my first and only OUI 2 years ago. Due to lifes circumstances I was unable to get the funds to take class and get back on the road. This place assured me I could get in and get the class done for less than 500 dollars and on less than a month! Sign me up! Got there finally after arranging a ride to bring me 90 minutes only to have them tell me I had to come back to an evaluation. The evaluation cost an additional 200 to comete but I had to do it. Once I completed the evaluation on my second visit after paying a total of 350$ for both visits they told me great now heres a piece of paper. You need to go get a councilor amd see them every week for 6 months and your responsible for paying for this as well and its 60 dollars a month And you need a signature saying that you are making progress. If you have made enough progress in 6 months we will reevaluate you ( guess who pays for that!) then you might be eligable for the weekend course. Which you still must pay 480$ but they will not sign your papers until you have done an additonal 90 days of intensive aftercare. Which you bet. You gotta pay for that too!! I have been clean for a year and 7 months. Been to a councilor for the duration of this time and continue to see one. This bullshit foundation has sucked 100s out of me and the only way to get back on the road is to continue to pay them or to start over and hope another business doesnt screw me like this one did. If i can offer any advice it is to Rub away as fast as you can!!! DO NOT COME HERE!!! Not even worthy of 1 star 70$ amethyst house fee. 75$ state fee? 200$ evaluation 360$ 6months of signatures 200$ reevaluation 480$ weekend course 180$+ aftercare 1500$ just for 1 person and they extend your time w.o a lisence for as long as it takes you to complete all this... I had an amazing experience at the Amethyst Foundation this week-end. Of course its a program mandated by the state so you must participate and the staff delivers the information you need to complete your program in a caring and effective way. Being a retired clinician I felt the education I received was beneficial, motivational and did set you on a path to recovery. You receive what you put in. The quarters were clean, comfortable, the location soothing and beautiful. The non-stop gourmet food cooked to perfection by the caring and understanding chef was marvelous! The Amethyst Foundation did indeed remind me if you drink don't drive or you will be visiting again. Blessings to whomever reads this review. read more

So so disappointed with this sham of a place. Pretends to help people who so desperately need help, but instead treat you like a number and have absolutely no care or compassion. They are the absolute worst I have come across in the business of helping alcohol and drug addicts. They need to close shop and let people find places that actually CARE about their outcomes.
