Forty-eight lanes of fun! We were there to visit/watch a family member bowl in a tournament. Lots of people everywhere but you could tell the upkeep and maintenance was being done. Nothing looked old and neglected. Bowling lanes looked good, the computer scoring and scoreboard screens were bright and readable. When there was deadwood the front desk and the guys in the back were attentive and quick to resolve. The food area was very clean along with an open bar. We had the chicken quesadilla, Buffalo cauliflower, and crispy fries. All were very good for being fried, bowling alley food. Overall this was a good experience and we'd go back. read more

This place. .. so they were understaffed and severely. And of course the fe.ale staff had an attitude like she did not want to be there. This place needs an overhaul cause the carpets and everything was very dingy in there. So they put us in a lane that I had to get up about 4 times because the lane would get stuck knocking the pins down or would not set up a couple of the pins. When I went to the desk ine last time I waited beyond 19 mins then had the male employee take this dude before me who was there after me. This was after the female employee with th attitude basically ignored me. Smh this place needs an overhaul of staff and the foundation itself. Only went there cause was last bowling alley with Amy open lanes. Now I see why. read more

My Friday and I came here to bowl one Friday evening. The vibe was weird. We didn't even bowl. We stood in line for a min, decided that something was off in the atmosphere and rolled out. Neither of us are super deep, just connected and aware of what's happening around us. I'm not sure if I would return here. Maybe to a party if invited, but not as a just because thing. read more

Rock N' Bowlllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll! I was recently here with a group of friends for one of their late night Rock N Bowl experiences. On the weekends a few AMF's are open till 1am. During this time the music is blasting as videos show in the background, creating a party atmosphere. Added with the party vibe, AMF Woodlawn offers a full bar and bar foods. More lanes than I thought inside!! I was here looking at their pro-shop with my husband. The pro-shop was great, they helped him pick out a nice ball for his bowling league. They drilled it for him on the spot and gave him a great deal for getting new finger grips on his old bowling ball (and grips for his new one, too). He got a couple of 'extras,' something to clean the ball and a towel (which they threw in no charge). I checked out their "standard" fees for purchasing the ball, drilling fees, grips per pair, etc. You could really spend some money there!! The guys cut to the chase and put everything together for a reasonable price. My husband took the ball out on the lanes to make sure he was truly happy with it. He also got new grips in his old (12 years old) ball, and there was a slight fracture. Guys said if there were any issues at all, to come on back in and they would take care of it, free of charge. Friendly and helpful. They said they have 5 pro shops, Towson, Woodlawn, Brunswick, Conchester... and I *think* one in Philly? Hard to get a lane if there's a tournament or league play happening. Seemed to be a lot of regulars bowling - all very friendly. read more

Horrible customer service from shift leader Erica Ennis!!! I placed an order at the front desk and sent my daughter to the counter approximately 20 minutes later to pick up the food. My daughter came back to the table with the wrong order. As I was walking back towards the counter Ms. Ennis was arguing back and forth with a CHILD about what she gave her. I intervened and asked what the problem was because I was given the wrong order. She proceeds to state that she gave my daughter the correct order and she didn't know what my daughter did with the food (my missing order) because she walked away with it. I asked her if she was insinuating that she stole food and Ms. Ennis replied "It's not a big deal I can remake the order" my reply was "So why are you still talking to your coworkers about what you gave her?" I felt that she was very unprofessional and to add, I've been coming to this bowling alley for well over 20 years and I have never experienced an unpleasant or unprofessional experience until today. I will be speaking to the General Manager on reference to this matter. Hopefully he/she can allow a class for great customer service and how to deal with the public read more

let me paint a picture for ya'll... which btw isn't even close to the reality of it all... lol i'm so blown right now! we pull up... it was packed and ALL the cars were backed in (smell trouble yet?). before we even stepped out the car it reeked of weed. there was a looong line of dudes getting patted down and no one in the "girls" line. they searched my purse like crazy. now i've been to hammerjacks back in the day and they NEVER searched my shit like that! she searched in my wallet and everything. it was $20 just to get in!! that doesn't count bowling fees. security and cops were heavy! i mean we just wanted to go BOWLING! lol those folks weren't there for no bowling! maybe on any other night you are safe.. but not on a FRIDAY night. hide your kids, hide your wives. read more
