Both birthday parties we attended came with shoe rentals, two hour bowling, a table setup and pizza. What's good? The bowling. My kids enjoyed their time learning how to bowl. The lanes held up well, no issues with ball returns or pin setup while they bowled. Bumpers were setup and taken down quickly if needed. The workers. They were attentive to the parties and very helpful. The fries. During the second party visit my kids were hungry before the pizza was served. We got a large fry. I thought the fries were pretty good. What's meh? The pizza crust. I'm a total crust guy and the crust they use isn't great. Mad props that they make their own pizzas (or at least put the cheese and pepperoni on themselves. The fry cooking time. They took a while from when they were ordered to when they were done. They were served hot but the wait seemed longer than it should. Can't imagine what it is like if a bunch of people are ordering food.

The weather changed so fast from not really windy, no rain, bright and sunny to foggy, stormy and gray. Heavy rains were coming into the golf bay area, roaring thunder and lightning strikes. The gray clouds and high winds rolled in super fast from the right side near the water. My friend and I are not from the Baltimore area... So naturally, we started to freak out as we didn't know what to do with the extreme weather change (haha now, but not at the time). We went into the covered area inside and sat down with our waters. We told our prior server that was switching shifts, Myles, that the new server who we ordered from with still had my friend's card but we didn't see her. As we wanted to tell her about our move inside. He helped us notify the new server and got my friend's card back. As we were thinking about leaving due to the abrupt weather change. The new server helped us carry our food from the outside bay area to the inside table area where we got our drinks as well. Myles came over and we asked if he could help explain the Baltimore weather with us, since we told him we weren't from here and didn't know what to do with the weather. He realized how worried we were and tried his best to reassure us. He was very professional and kind. This helped to calm us down immensely. And it made us less anxious. We decided to stay and wait it out. At about 624pm the weather had cleared up. So we communicated with our server that we did want to go back outside to play if that was possible. A manager came over to help comp us 15 minutes of play time from when we were inside for the storm. So we went back outside to play. When the check came, there were some discrepancies with the free 30 minute discount code (check for ongoing promotions online) that we used initially. So our server notified the manager and they were able to correct that for us. It was definitely a memorable first time experience at Topgolf for me. It's definitely a fun place for date night or a night out with friends... and even a okay place to watch a storm from (I'm joking about this last part!)

So I looked for other team members from my job, who were sitting outside on a patio area. The young lady, Nemesis (sorry if it spelled wrong) at the bar was very sparky not just to me but to my boss as well about us being about 10 minutes late. Which we couldn't help since it is not easy to navigate a construction zone and road closures. We all went to the bay areas that was reserved for our team, and our host was very pleasant and helpful. She listened and was a great host. To play is not too hard, even kids can play. But it is not easy to swing those clubs. Some of the handles need new rubber handles. But we had a ball. I loved Angry Birds and then my team played Color block. But I prefer Angry birds as a competive game for a group. I might come back and bring some friends and my hubby.

Anyway, the lanes are decent, all the equipment is up to date, the balls are decent, and the overall facility is clean. Customer service is great. Our group had a special needs child and they were very accommodating with a ball ramp, rails, etc... The food/grill area is still working in a COVID-closed dining condition meaning it's order and pick-up. The dining area is closed off. The night we were bowling there was only one person working this area and they were backed-up, the entire time. Food was decent. A good, fun, family place to visit.
