Most games are broken and the ate some of the most boring games there is. Food is subpar at best.

When family visits from LA we always make a point to hit the lanes at Stoneleigh. We make a reservation, and our lanes are ready when we arrive. Both birthday parties we attended came with shoe rentals, two hour bowling, a table setup and pizza. What's good? The bowling. My kids enjoyed their time learning how to bowl. The lanes held up well, no issues with ball returns or pin setup while they bowled. Bumpers were setup and taken down quickly if needed. The workers. They were attentive to the parties and very helpful. The fries. During the second party visit my kids were hungry before the pizza was served. We got a large fry. I thought the fries were pretty good. What's meh? The pizza crust. I'm a total crust guy and the crust they use isn't great. Mad props that they make their own pizzas (or at least put the cheese and pepperoni on themselves. The fry cooking time. They took a while from when they were ordered to when they were done. They were served hot but the wait seemed longer than it should. Can't imagine what it is like if a bunch of people are ordering food.

Food is served and hours can pass if there is no other plans to be had on any day. For celebrations, fill in time, or just because, Round1 is entertainment. I have been to this location a few times now and my recent visit was a bit better from the last. While most machines were operational, with a few claw ones in need of replenishment, I don't know if such as the ratio of staff to cover per customer is a factor in these establishments. When one person is covering the food bar and the main register, issues are inevitable. While not everyone may require an attendant for assistance, I can understand how frustrating it can be to wait for help to retrieve a prize in a claw machine, when the same person is manning the register, and pulling pizzas and wings in the kitchen. This place is suppose to serve Japanese snacks, however only one or two options based on the menu board were offered last visit beyond the burgers, pizza, fries, and wings. No ramen. Staffing remains to be a challenge. I was impressed to see the man cleaning tables is always spot on and very quick. Access here is also weird, the direct main entrance from the mall is blocked each time I've visited. Alternative way to get in/out is past the restaurants and down the escalator (Fairmount Ave and Towson Gate Drive entrance side). It would be an absolute cluster if there was an emergency in this place, blocking a major entrance during operational hours is concerning regardless of the day.

I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised at how good this small restaurant / sports bar is…read morethat was attached to Suburban Bowlerama, on Queen Street, in York, Pa. Wife, daughter and myself first had three games in the alley, which went by at good time for three games. But the real treat was when some of the customers exited this little eatery as we bowled, we couldn't help but smell the food being served just behind us on the furthest end of the alleys. When we came inside, Michelle had greeted us pleasantly, and asked if I needed a chair moved as I was in a wheelchair, but the tables were perfect height and had no trouble at all getting a place to eat. ^^ A few other people were dotted around different seats as multiple TVs played various sports, as we started looking on the menus of what was making our mouths water. My daughter ordered the Nashville Hot Shrimp, Wife had the chilli, and decided to get a small speciality pizza, Ham with fig sauce ... ?... I decided to get a bowl of the creame of crab soup and sweet tea. Food took a small while to make, but when it came out, it was AMAZING. The soup was in a wide styled bowl with crackers, and no lie. It was perfect. Then my wife had started on her chilli, and she said it was exactly how her mom used to make it from North Carolina, it was THAT Good. Daughter had started on her hot shrimp and was happily bouncing in her seat as she loved the heat and the taste. Then when me and wife got done with the bowls of OMG Goodness, then she offered me a piece of her pizza, and I tell you, I NEVER Had such an outstanding combination on a pizza before as I had here. It was a white flat bread pizza, and the ham was perfect with crisp edges, but the best part was the sweet fig sauce. It was perfectly balanced with the salty meat and the sweet drizzled sauce on top. Michelle came by and asked how we were doing, and she just smiled as we told her how good the food was. She had let us know the menu was changing, and thanked us for letting her know what we liked, hopefully they will keep our choices on those menus, as they will be choices we will definitely order again, the next time we head there for bowling. So please, when you get food there at Alley Oops, tell Michelle how good your choices they are, and see when they change the menu, they keep the choices on. I couldn't recommend this food eatery place highly enough, as seeing how excellent the food is, and Michelle's pleasant personality made the day for us. We WILL be back again... ^^ Cheers and God Bless... Deaf Gryphon ^^
