The lighting was flawless. The DJ volume was flawless - you could hear the music and announcements up by the floor, fading as you get farther away so those who want to stay away from the noise can still be in the same room. Food was presented in order, waited on, people willing to help with whatever you need. The bartender saved me a Coke can for my long drive home! (Just in case. Always drive alert.) I'm used to random audio problems, suboptimal room arrangements, and just having to deal with the best we can get. This raises the bar. They were pretty expensive for the size when the menu indicated they were large soft shell crabs. They were medium at best! Got the sweet potato fries as I opted for a caesar salad for my second side and vegetable. But as I indicated, the salads never arrived for anyone in our party. I ended up getting the ice cream sundae for dessert. I was pretty sufficiently full but the waitstaff said that it was really good and it was. It was a very good size and left me completely stuffed. All in all a good meal, but when the waitstaff doesn't bring food that is ordered, that is a pretty poor experience. Since we were being taken to dinner here, I didn't argue, but it should not have occurred.

Played in November on a late Saturday morning and we're talking $33/person including the cart. I will admit that the pace of play is a bit slower. Also battled some geese along the way. There's not a lot of hazards, fairways are a bit close together so you may so people in your fairway that are on the next hole. 7 par 4s and 2 par 3s (holes 6 & 7). You can see the flag on just about every hole. I believe it is hole 2 and 9 that are the only ones where you can't see the flag. It's a city course so don't expect all the bells and whistles. Gotta give a shout out to Sal. He keeps things fun as the starter, cracked a few jokes, and will give you some pointers. Plenty of parking on the lot. There's no driving range, but there's a green for you to get some putting and chipping in.

The gravel covered lot was absolutely horrible! It was hard to drive on and they had piles of the same gravel throughout, further limiting the already limited parking. My friend basically had to park on a gravel pile with the front of her truck partially in the street. They really should do a better job with this lot. As for the grounds, they were beautiful. The lawn was very well maintained. The grounds were free of trash or any other debris. It's is a shame that the parking lot didn't get the same care. As for the soca for breakfast event, it was wonderful. I would definitely consider coming back for other events at the golf course. Hopefully, the issues with the parking lot will be resolved before then.

An affordable old school course that was built before motorized carts were prevalent, is friendly to players that prefer to walk. The proximity of tees to greens is extremely convenient in an age where quarter mile cart rides are common place. On many holes players need only to walk a few yards to reach the next tee. Situated in northeast Baltmore the course is a beautiful green oasis that provides a quiet refuge from the bustling traffic that surrounds it. Dotted by many decades old oaks and maples it is home to plentiful wildlife including, numerous bird species, fox, deer and many other critters. Mount Pleasant is a gem in the city of Baltmore. I think of her as an old friend who I enjoy visiting regularly to share memories.
