Their two delivery guys were 10 minutes early. i've had dozens of appliances delivered from other places. Nothing was more pleasurable than dealing with JT and Jaden. They were the best delivery guys I ever dealt with and I am 70 years old. We are so pleased with our purchase and we saved so much money with their new scratch/dent appliances. I couldn't even tell where the scratch or dent was. What a place. I love supporting the small business store too in lieu of the big box stores who do not care and are overpriced. Do not hesitate to visit their store. You'll agree 100% with me. I guarantee it. We purchased a refrigerator and washing machine. Couldn't be more pleased with our purchase.

We purchased a matching Maytag set and brought it back to Pittsburgh ourselves. We had issues with the dryer, not sure why or what caused it, but Beck's took the dryer back with no issues. We came home the same day with a GE dryer. That was 4-5 years ago. The washer and dryer are still working perfectly. The funny thing is that the Maytag Bravos is rated as one of the least reliable washers ever made, but Beck's must have solved whatever problems it had because we torture that poor thing and it just keeps on washing. The dryer (gas) has also not had a single issue. So don't worry about buying used from Becks...it might be better than new!

We visited Dons appliances this morning ( Saturday ) to look at a replacement . At Dons we met Quinn Walters. After Quinn questioned us to determine what we wanted in a washer he showed us an LG unit that perfectly fit our needs and was also on sale. Before going to Don's I did no online research and told Quinn that I was relying on his expertise as to what to buy. He whole heartedly recommended the LG unit. My wife happened to be speaking with a friend today who also recently purchased a new washer. She purchased the same LG that we did. Our friend had done tons of research and said it was the best machine on the market . Our washer is in stock and being delivered to us Monday . Don's has an excellent reputation in Pittsburgh and I wholeheartedly recommend that you talk to Quinn if you need any appliances five stars ! I wanted to add that the two Dons techs who delivered the washer did a great job They carefully measured all doorways and did a professional installation ! Also they were really nice guys !

The dryer repeatedly stops the cycle because it senses that the clothes are dry, yet they are still damp. I can get the clothes dry by using a manual timed cycle, but I shouldn't have to bypass the automatic sensing feature on a new dryer. Sensor Dry was one of the features I expected to use regularly, and it simply does not work properly for me. The dryer looks great and has plenty of options, but having to manually time loads defeats the purpose of an automatic dryer. Very frustrating and disappointing for a new appliance.

Gus initially seemed nice, and competent. He came and diagnosed a faulty turntable motor (as I expected). He told me the part was hard to get, but he found one. I agreed to the repair. He installed the new motor, which was not OEM, a week or so later. I quickly realized it did not work properly and notified him. He promised to get a new motor. This was in November. He then failed to contact me and keep me updated. I had to keep asking--repeatedly. Eventually, on March 2, he told me the motor was in. I asked him when he would install it--and he never replied. I asked again--and he never replied. It is now April 7 and I have not heard from him at all. Repeated calls and texts have gone unanswered. I believe he has blocked my number. It is NOT okay that he is ghosting a customer who paid him over $400! He has VERY POOR COMMUNICATION SKILLS AND CUSTOMER SERVICE. I emphatically DO NOT RECOMMEND him. Alas, five months on, I am still left with a broken appliance, am out over $400 for a failed repair, and have little or no recourse to recoup my losses. I also see here that there are four other reviews and two very closely match my experience. 50% is not good. I guess I should have checked here first! Also, please note: "Simple Appliance Repair" is NOT a company with multiple employees and accountability. This is ONE GUY, Gus. If you call his phone number, he may answer, or you may get a sophisticated AI-generated answering service that creates the false impression of a larger organization. It is no such thing. Beware!

Valley Appliance was sent to my home by my home warranty company to repair my oven. Unfortunately,…read moreafter multiple visits and supposedly replacing multiple parts, my oven still has every single one of the exact same problems it had before. At this point, I honestly have no way of knowing what was actually replaced because nothing about the oven's operation changed. Trying to get them to come back has been even more frustrating. I have now had TWO appointments where no one showed up. The first time, someone from Valley Appliance called me personally and told me they had the part. He said he wanted to give me the first choice of available appointments, and we scheduled the appointment together over the phone. No one showed up. When I tried to contact the office afterward, I couldn't get through, so I sent an email. I was then told that if I hadn't received a confirmation message from them, I didn't actually have an appointment. This was an appointment that THEIR employee had called ME to schedule. The second time, my home warranty company scheduled an appointment with Valley Appliance. I then received a message from Valley Appliance saying that unless I contacted them directly to schedule, I didn't have an appointment. Again, I tried to call them directly. Their answering system tells you to leave a message, but then immediately says the voicemail box is full or not set up, so you can't even leave one. Since I couldn't get through by phone, I emailed them and explained exactly what was happening. Their response was to tell me to call the office to schedule. So Valley Appliance calls me and schedules an appointment themselves, then says it wasn't an appointment because they didn't send a confirmation. My home warranty company schedules another appointment, and Valley Appliance says that one doesn't count either because I have to call them directly. Then when I try to call them directly, I can't reach anyone or even leave a message. Meanwhile, my oven still has the identical problems it had before multiple parts were supposedly replaced. Between two no-shows, conflicting information, an appliance that still isn't repaired, and a scheduling process that makes it nearly impossible to actually get service, this has been an incredibly frustrating experience. I would absolutely not recommend Valley Appliance. If your home warranty company assigns them to your claim, I would ask for another service provider.
