This was going to mark the fourth time I had visited Indian Rock Tactical. The previous times the…read moreexperience had been a mixed bag. My first visit was the day before they first opened--I had no idea the store wasn't yet open but the door was open, so I went in. I was immediately and rudely told that they weren't open until tomorrow. I fully understand a business getting ready to open its doors for the first time and not wanting customers milling about yet, but no need to be obnoxious. That was a portent of things to come. On my 2nd and 3rd visits, both times the staff was dismissive. Not rude, they just didn't give a damn about customers, myself included. Both of these times, some friend of the store or an employee had come in and the remaining employees gathered around to hear the latest tales, everyone else became irrelevant. I actually like the shop but the customer support leaves much to be desired. Then there was today. I pulled up at 9:40, pleased to see their large folding OPEN sign out on the street. As I went to the door, an employee was going in. He said that the store doesn't open until 10:00. I inquired about the big open sign at the street and just rudely repeated that the store doesn't open until 10:00-- no apology, no explanation, no interest in customer support. Now I was not expecting to be given early access to the store but seriously, how about a slight bit of contrition for the screw up? How about "Hey, I am really sorry about that. Let me get the lights on and the store ready and I will be open shortly." Is that really to much to all? With IR Tactical it repeatedly seems so. I suppose that is my major beef with IR Tactical. They just seem utterly indifferent to their customers. I tend to buy a lot of prep stuff and like getting to know who I do business with because relationships are important to me. Sadly, not for IR Tactical. I will take my hard earned money to a supplier that cares about my business. I like to support local B&M stores, even paying a bit more to keep them going. But, as for this place, I won't be back.

The jewelry is quality and they are very open about when there is something you need to know about piece in terms of history or quality. They test each piece to determine metal type and quality and if they are unsure about a stone they will tell you which I really appreciate. The staff has been there for a long time and so you can build a nice rapport with them if you go in on regular basis and if you tell them a particular item or piece you are looking for and give them permission to reach out, they will let you know when new items come in.

What we found was the finest in customer service, product knowledge, and folks that are truly dedicated to the sport of archery. Upon arrival, they introduced themselves and asked if we needed help. We said we were just looking and the owner, Chris, told his staff to set my two boys up with bows and introduce them to the sport. They pulled bows off the shelf, adjusted them to my boys and had them laughing arrows into targets within minutes. They provided instruction and coaching tips until they were able to put three arrows into about a 3 inch circle. As they were coaching the kids, they would pause the session to adjust the bow a bit more until each bow was tuned to the kids, all the while coaching and providing positive feedback as the kids learned. The look of excitement on my kids faces as they learns an outdoor sport was priceless. Needless to say, I became a paying customer that day. To have my kids engaged in something that doesn't require an internet connection is something every parent should be looking for. If you are looking, I would highly recommend Reedy's. My wife even ended up with a setup. GET YOUR KIDS OFF THE INTERNET AND GET THEM OUTDOORS. YOU WONT REGRET IT.

They were extremely welcoming and spent an hour teaching me all of the basics without once trying to sell me anything. They are clearly deeply knowledgeable and passionate about the sport and were helping people at every level of experience from kids to expert hunters. I will definitely be a returning customer and highly recommend Reedy's to anyone looking for anything in the world of archery or bowhunting.
