I had a full house generator installed 26 kw. My house is 3700 square ft. For that size the recommended propane tank should have 500 gallons..The largest they will lease is 300 gallons.I am an 80 year old widow and trusted them. If I had to do over I would definitely pick another company. Plus when they installed tank they cut lines to house phone and did not acknowledge. read more

I bought a house in Dawsonville. Amicalola was the gas company the homeowner used. They asked should we top it off at summer rates. I never had gas in my life in a home, so I said sure. I was billed $510.00 No problem it would last a long time. End of the story, they never checked their tank that I rented from them. There was apparently a leak. 4 months later, I HAVE no gas. I moved into a home that had a buried 1000 gallon propane tank. We switched to natural gas, and I wanted the company, AmeriGas, to come and pump out the tank. I didn't even want any money for the 675 gallons of propane inside the tank. Not only did AmeriGas give me the runaround, but it was impossible to get in touch with an actual person, and it was only until I left a Facebook review that they contacted me via the messenger system. They told me that they do not do pump outs. This, after a year of being given the runaround, Well, it was extremely difficult to find a a company to do a pump out because companies do not want to pump out another company's propane. Thankfully, I got in touch with Amicalola. They were so nice! Jason and Nick were very professional. They were so patient and found my underground tank with a metal detector. They were very careful with my property. They pumped out the tank, told us what to do and what to expect. They charged me fairly. We are putting in an above ground propane tank, and I will be using them for all of our needs. What a great company!
