You don't know how good you had it until you can't get it anymore. *sigh* Amigos was a rite of passage all through college and some post college fun nights. You can't miss this place if you are in Lincoln, they are everywhere. Having tried everything on the menu, I will first say, you must have whatever you get with the Ranch, Ooooo, the ranch. It is made in house and they put an addictive chemical in it that makes you crave it fortnightly, (thank you, Mike Meyers.) The Southwest Chicken Rollup is pretty awesome, On The Border has a similar product called something else but not as good. The Crisp Chicken is amazing as long as you don't want to know what's in it and even the mention of the soft tacos can make my husband want to get in the car to drive three hours for the experience. Don't forget the Mexi fries and if you have the chance swing by for breakfast. The Chorizo Burrito is the perfect balance between spicy and cheesy. It is also enhanced with the spicy salsa they offer. It is one of the few fast food places I know that has a condiment bar including spicy cheese, salsas, jalapenos and THE RANCH. Amigos is pretty special to us and if you are ever in Nebraska we will not pass up a call for you to pick some up for us. Just realized I half quoted a Cinderella song. This is one of the best amigos in town. We showed up close to 9 P.M. and one of the last things you want to do is serve food when it close to closing time. But they were excellent in service. Our waitress Cassidi helped us out enormously and had our every need in a flash. Recommend this place to anyone. read more

We walked in to grab something quick. We stood at the counter for about 3 minutes before we saw someone in the back to tell them we were there. Steak burrito was gross. Bathrooms need cleaning! Scrub, disinfect the stall doors and everything. Your counter gal should have clean shirt and visor. This place nearly made me sick just being there. read more

If I could give them less than one star I would. My husband has gotten food poisoning from the Monster Burrito (filed a report with the health department). And not once but TWICE now I have ordered the meat nachos and they came with NO MEAT!!! How are you going to order a MEAT NACHO and not give me and meat on my nachos?!?! Numerous times we have ordered the monster burritos (before getting food poisoning) and get home to realize that they weren't monster burritos at all. It's like they didn't know how to make a monster burrito and just threw together some random ingredients and called it good. You may ask why we continue going to this Amigos. And that's a valid point. However, if you live in Airpark you know that there's not much out this way. So in a pinch and if we don't feel like driving back into town, we settle for this. I understand this is a fast food place with younger kids working. In a COVID environment. However, they have a history of getting orders wrong. Tonight I drive through for the first time since May 5th. I live across the street and have little to no other options within 5 miles. But I've avoided this place due to the issues each time. Tonight they left off all my sauces, doesn't seem huge. But chips without the cheese sauce, not great. I had to ask for the ranch and extra sauces I'd paid for because I caught they were not in my bag. No napkins, no silverware. They also left those things off the orders in front of me. How do I know? A man got out of his car and walked through the drive through to my car and asked if he could just cut in front and walk to window for his napkins. Actually kind of scared me. You don't expect people to walk up to your car at a drive through. He was perfectly nice though. When I called after I got home and saw they also left off my cheese dip.. not even an apology. The food was fine, just as good as any Amigos. The service however, was HORRIBLE. My boyfriend ordered a shake and it was not brought out with our order. When he went back to the counter to remind them of it. He was ignored for several minutes. When they finally gave it to him, it was spilling out of the cup, and his hand was instantly covered in ice cream. The staff was also talking/yelling very loudly to each other in the kitchen. Something seriously wrong with Amigos in Lincoln. Absolutely cannot get a hot, quality product. There is one that is consistently good. 27th and Capital Parkway-during the day. All others provide cold food, slopped together, or order will be wrong wrong. How do you get a cold burger and fries at high noon? Avoid this place. Period. I have been one of there customers for several years with mixed results. I'll just call it the good, the bad, and the ugly. Seriously folks. I have ordered crisp meat burittos that were still frozen in the middle, ordered and went to pay with a $100 bill and told they do not accept $100.00 bills ( now they have signs saying they do not accept them. at the time I tried to pay they did not) After that I went down the street to another Amigos and they gladly accepted my $100.00 bill, but then the guy could not make the correct change. The food is average at best. The help that they hire is desperately lacking and today's experience forces me to to write this negative review. I ordered the sunrise special which is pretty basic. 2 egg's (i specified over easy) bacon, funky little potato cube things, and toast with jelly. Pretty simple huh???? NOT! Eggs were well done and they had cheese all over them, ,tators tasted like they were prehistoric, checked my bag to see iff there was a fork and jelly included along with salt and pepper which I requested at time of payment and they did not include any of those items. I had to request a fork, salt pepper and jelly and the guy says (he was the cook) to the window lady in some foreign accent Forkjelly, forkjelly! He had no idea what it meant im sure. So order taker girl arrives gives me a fork, them I have to ask for salt and pepper which she gives me 1 of each, then I have to ask for jelly!!! She then tries to brush it off on the cook who she says is new and still learning! Geez! Also the receipt in the bag was totally differant than what was ordered. And this is only one of many inconsistent experiances at this business. I have had negative experiences at just about all of the locations I have been too ( about 6-8) and I am giving up!
