It's one of the best appetizers. Then we ordered the Molcajetes and it's MASSIVE. Dessert was delicious with cheesecake and flan. Our server was extremely attentive and quick, service was great. I love this place! Super clean and cute inside.

The outside of the building looks real nice and is well maintained. Once you enter the friendly staff seats you in a booth or tables. The decorations are classy old school Mexican. Very nice! The menu is extensive and takes a while to get through. There is something for most everyone: meats, seafood, pastas, salads, (however no soups), appetizers, Mexican antojitos. I did not see any non-animal based protein for vegans. The service was excellent. Everything at my table was delicious. The chips and variety of salsas were irresistible. I had the enchiladas suizas and loved them. Very generous portions and with a beautiful presentation to boot! I could see some carts rolling by laden with meals for other tables and it all looked delectable. Perhaps because I was so hungry, but it really was very appetizing! There were TV screens and some background music but at a good volume so we could hear very well to hold a conversation without raising our voices. I highly recommend Tierra Bendita and look forward to going again.

As soon as we entered the vicinity, my jaw dropped literally because it looked super cute and festive. The place is literally a mini San Miguel, Mexico. Anyhow, we were greeted warmly by the host and eventhough it looked busy we were escorted almost immediately to our table. We were greeted kindly by our server and was handed the menu. They have plenty of interesting drinks and cocktails, appetizers, entree and many Many more on their menu. We finally ordered our drinks and foods and was excited for them. The ambiance of this place were incredible. It has such a clean surroundings and pleasant atmosphere. Our drinks, chips and salsa and entree came with the right amount of wait time and we were ready to explorge. Everything was on point and we had a very appetizing and delicious meal as well as a wonderful time.

I had the fajitas (beef and chicken) this time. They were very good! I really like the 3 dips they bring with chips before the meal. As my waiter told me, "the one on the right will make your tongue sweat!" All three are good and he's right, one is really hot to me. The restaurant is beautiful! When you come in the door, you see the dessert case and if you're lucky , you might hear the waiter/waitress's sing Happy Birthday to someone. Labor Day 2023: I came here after hearing about this place from some colleagues at work…read more My goal was to compare their oysters and seafood cocktail against another place I visited last week. The oysters were good but the presentation was a bit off. They come out in a huge tray of ice which melted kinda quick - if you wait too long to have your oysters, you will be pulling them out of water. Also, the cocktail sauce that came with them was super watered down and messy to pour from the little cups it came in. The shrimp cocktail, though, was beautifully presented and delicious. It was topped with cilantro, red onion, and avocado. I relished every bite. Chips and salsa before the meal were good, too. The chips are dusted with some spicy powder which you can get hooked on, and the salsas were good and spicy. Unfortunately for me, though, I was exposed to Maroon 5, One Republic, and Bruno Mars songs blasting throughout the place. It felt kinda clubby, and not any club I would ever want to be in. All in all, though, not a bad place for seafood. I am definitely coming back after hearing about other entrees to try, especially their grilled octopus.

Started with the spinach artichoke dip - creamy, cheesy, and lots of artichokes, spinach, and mushrooms! The chips served with it were fresh, crisp, and had the perfect amount of salt! My husband and I shared our two entrees - the chicken fried pork chop and the pork chop marsala. Both were excellent! The pork was tender and juicy with each dish. And the Marsala sauce was one of the best I've tried! We wish we could have tried more items...but it would be well worth the drive to come back for another visit!

Not very many patrons there. I know it gets crowded. The inside is very small, yet they managed to not make it feel cramped. Very intimate, and I loved the decor. Our waitress, again forgot to get her name, was attentive, and provided great service throughout our meal. I can see this place being a GREAT date spot! Let's get to the grub! We started off with appetizers. We had the fried steak calamari and boudin sausage. Let me get the one negative out of the way on the calamari. The portion for the price. It was a bit high. Also, it's not just calamari, it was fried veggies and jalapeños in the mix too. Although it was amazingly delicious, it needed more actual calamari. Also, menu stated it came with aioli. It came with a spicy paste type sauce. We weren't complaining as it paired nice, and think it was a happy mistake. The boudin, which outside of Baton Rouge, I'm not a huge fan of, was spot on! Perfect balance of spice and ingredients! The one thing I will suggest is perhaps not serving it with rice, since there is already rice in the boudin. Maybe a nice sauce or a roux? Either way it was good! The offspring, I love they are adventurous, had the blackened fish, and seafood jambalaya. Let's start with that blackened fish. Not over-salted!!!! Wow was that a relief! The sauce paired perfectly with the fish! The sautéed spinach was ok. Lacked more seasoning. The jambalaya was also pretty good! They didn't skimp on any of the ingredients. Very much appreciated! Nothing was overcooked, and it was seasoned to perfection! All the meals came with a roll, which I think was yeast. The problem with those is when they get stale, they almost taste a bit like beer. They tasted like beer. I had the Mardi Gras pasta. I was scared it would be too rich or oily. It was neither. Again a very well balanced dish! It's not cheap, but not outrageously priced. With the exception of the calamari, the portions and quality of the meal were worth the price. Whoever is in the back cares about the food. I could've been in Louisiana how good it was. The menu isn't just Cajun. They have a great variety. We did order desert. Just cheesecake, but I can almost bet they didn't make it in house. They did get creative with the plating though! Also kudos for having stevia at table! Highly recommend and def coming back on a date night!
