Very good tacos for a cheap price! Stopped in with a friend to get some tacos and chips/queso to split. I got a beef, steak and chicken taco to try some of the main proteins. The tacos were very soft (because I got soft tacos of course but were exceptionally soft!) and very filling. Chips and queso were very good too. I didn't receive very many chips though and I felt bad wasting the remaining queso as I didn't want to take it home to reuse for something else. I can only speak for the shrimp tacos that were brought to me by my partner and they were delicious. They had a large helping of shrimp in all three tacos, which I cannot stress enough, was SO NICE! To taste and eat shrimp with each bite instead of a mouth full of taco shell and Coleslaw. I am also a wimp when it comes to spice and these had a little spice with the sauce on top, probably a chipotle, it it was also SO tasty that I ate it anyways. My partner brought home 3 boxes of shrimp tacos and since they were too spicy for my kiddos to enjoy they stayed in the fridge for a few, and I ate 6 myself. While visiting the area for a business trip I stopped in on the way back to the airport. it was early and the place was not busy. I got the chorizo burrito and I was told to try the Asada taco. Very good tacos! I'll have to come back and try their birria someday. We came for taco Tuesday and all street tacos are $2 which is a good deal. I like that you can see it being made back in the kitchen. Service was friendly, we had to ask for our elote that they forgot but they got it to us quick! Tacos and quesadillas are packed with chicken, and plenty of food for a great price. The food is very good but just missing a little something. The tacos are definitely street style. The chicken doesn't have a lot of spice but their hot sauce is fire and made up for it. The chips in salsa are slightly too oily. I went with the taco dinner for $12 which came with 3 tacos, rice and beans. Drinks were extra, and I think they need to get a pop machine. Cans out of the cooler only! Anyway, the guy who took my order was good but I don't think he heard me when I asked him 3 times for sour cream and then twice that I was dining in. Ordered 2 taco with grilled chicken, 1 chicken quesadilla, guacamole and chips and salsa, two spicy street corn, mangonada and chicken enchiladas (green sauce only). The mangonada comes with a sweet wrapped strawberry fruit roll up straw. The mangonada is so yummy. The spicy street corn is also quite good. The spicy topping looks like flamin hot Cheetos. The chicken quesadilla is good, grilled with onions and green peppers with the cheese. The chicken tacos were okay, nothing special. I would not get the chips, guacamole or salsa. The chips are super crunchy, but greasy. The guacamole and salsa were both very plain and average. The chips were mostly broken and small tiny pieces. This place was pretty darn good. It looks like a gas station style restaurant, but it delivers on fresh. I had to try the Birria dipping tacos and they were pretty good. I wish the broth had a little more seasoning, but other than that it was great. The elote (street corn) in a cup were on point, I could eat like 5 of them. My wife got the chicken tostadas and they were the highlight of lunch. They were seasoned to perfection. My kiddo got a nice cheese quesadilla with a great side of their fresh salsa. Growing up in Mexico in Chapala Jalisco I know what real Mexican tacos taste like and the salsas too, and I can confidently say 100℅ with great conviction that was the worst tacos I have ever tasted, and I tasted 1 of each. Even in California and Las Vegas they had great authentic Mexican tacos. It seems like they hired some Mexicans that really did not know how to cook but just because they were Mexicans the owner thought they could make some real Mexican food. NOPE! Be careful ordering there tortilla soup. All I received was broth and a little corn. This has happened twice now. We've been here a few times and it's a good new local spot for Mexican food. They have a lot of specials on the board, it'd be great if they posted them somewhere online. The shrimp tostada is really good, as are all of the other dishes I've had. The only thing I'm not a fan of is their salsa - it's not a style I'm used to and the taste is a little different. I was disappointed. The chips and salsa that most places serve for free with your meal - were $3. And for that, not even good. Salsa was very bland and the chips were not up to par - & worse than store bought. The burrito was decent but I have had much better. If you want add'l salsa/sauce for your order of whatever - it's $1.50 for a dinky cup. I ordered a bottle of water - and was charged $4! They are very welcoming and very nice and very clean the food is good but there's just one short little male they're short little fat male who is rude and a conniving son of a gun and we can tell that you're a conniving dirty man.
