While I understand being short-staffed can be stressful, I was placed on hold multiple times during the call while Jill repeatedly emphasized that she was working alone and assisting patients in the lobby. Although I tried to remain understanding and patient, the interaction became increasingly unprofessional. When I attempted to explain the reason for my visit regarding pre-operative care, I was told that I needed to drop off my pre-op orders before even being able to schedule an appointment. While I was willing to comply, the process seemed unusual and was not clearly explained. What concerned me most was Jill's demeanor when I politely asked for her name and role at the office for my own reference. She appeared offended and questioned why she was "being interviewed." Her response and overall attitude made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome as a prospective patient. Customer service and professionalism are extremely important in healthcare settings, especially for new patients seeking care. Unfortunately, this interaction left such a negative impression that I no longer feel comfortable establishing care at this facility.

During his visit with Dr. Lavi he insisted he get new blood work to confirm his diagnosis yet failed to submit the right order. The office acknowledged their mistake but said the doctor refused to put in the correct order because my husband had been approved to see a podiatrist (for an unrelated issue) so he recommended he have the podiatrist treat him for gout. When I called member service to report him they disclosed the doctor had no notes about gout in his file. He failed to do his job in every way.

I said to my wife "look at that nice looking older couple." The woman heard me, turned around and said "Well thank you young man, you are coming to the right doctor, my husband and I have been coming to Dr. Dhanda for many years and I am 96 and my husband is 98. I was released from the hospital the next day and was only given half of the prescriptions I needed. I was told to call his office and when I did, was told he had left on vacation and to contact the Hospital I had been in. Second, I was experiencing chest pain & called the office requesting an urgent CT of my chest and the front desk sent it over as non urgent so I had to call a 2nd time - all while dealing with severe chest pain. She said she sent it over "STAT" but when I went that afternoon for the CT, I asked for a copy of the CT order and it did NOT indicate urgent or "STAT" as the front office told me it did - she lied to me! Then 3rd, the Dr on call called to discuss the results of the CT and told me he wanted me to have some labwork done asap. The next morning, I called LabCorp to be sure they had the order AND THEY DIDN'T. I had to call Dr El Youseff's office again and they faxed it to the lab downstairs. But at this point, I lost all faith in the office and decided to make an appt with UCLA. It would seem the entire office needs some additional training! With all the one star reviews for this office, it doesn't appear my experience is unique. I hope these Dr's see these reviews and realize how back their patients experience truly is!!!
