I don't understand what happened to this restaurant. I ordered delivery via grub hub and it was the biggest waste of money. Why is there SO MUCH WATER in the pasta?? The noodles were SO soggy and overcooked like they've been sitting in water for hours. The meatballs... I'm not convinced there is actual meat in it???? They were GRAINY and fell apart before I could chew. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. I've never spoken so poorly of a restaurant. This is absolutely horrible and unacceptable. I can't believe they took my money for this. Even the rolls were bad. Just plain, DRY bread - no butter, garlic, ANYTHING. All of it was YUCK. How can I get my money back???? FOOD WASTE

Worst service ever. Lisa is the manager and she has an attitude problem. She threatens to call the police. I return a pizza that the vegetables were not fresh and she had an attitude. Called the owner and was told to make me a medium because it was yesterday when I picked up pizza. That is crazy. She is very rude and when I told her she was being rude, so told me to get out and she is not making me anything.

The service was great, very attentive and it is a family owned local business. The food is all made from scratch, my family and I loved it. We had the mozzarella sticks and the marinara was very good. The pizza was very good as well with a slight crunch to the crust. The Alfredo sauce used in one of our dishes is also made to order and it was amazing. We will for sure be back for another round. Come check it out!

I'm all about supporting local business and this was one that popped up. It had decent reviews so we decided to give them a try. It's was around noon so we didn't know what to expect as far as crowd but surprisingly the restaurant was empty. A very nice gentleman sat us down and brought us some water. We ordered our food- which took forever! Especially since no one other than us were there. I ordered the chicken Alfredo and my guest had the lasagna. My Alfredo was a sloppy wet mess- not exactly like what you see in some of the pictures, plus it lacked flavor- like salt or garlic- totally skip it!! My guests dish tasted better but was wet inside so I could tell it was from frozen, probably the resin it took so damn long. Also, the house made dressing for the salad does in fact taste like ketchup. We ordered a pizza to go for our son and it was decent but nothing really to write about. I'd really hope they survive as they are new owners but in order to do that they will desperately need a recipe overhaul. Anyway, I hope they receive the message as very constructive so they can save their business

Had a nice dinner at Amore's. Love that this spot is BYOB so we took a good bottle of wine in with us to enjoy. Very friendly folks and service, you can tell they value your business. I had the Capellini Gamberretti which is shrimp with garlic and basil tomato sauce and angel hair pasta. It was good, would have preferred a couple more shrimp but wasn't so few that I felt cheated by any means. My wife ordered the Eggplant Rollatini and it was very good, with ricotta, marinara, and mozzarella. Casual and comfortable atmosphere, we'll be back to try it again.

Pizza with spinach, mushrooms, olives and onion. Delicious.

This neighborhood staple had long been a curiosity for me over the last 6 years I have lived in the area. When I finally mustered up the courage to try it - it shut down. Later, it reemerged. Now, during the shutdown, we decided to give it a shot with its newly implemented food delivery. The pizza we ordered was the stuff of legend. We have tried the Margherita and the Florentine, as well as some custom pizzas. For starters we have tried the mozzarella sticks and a salad. The mozzarella sticks are legion, and the quality is superb. Tasty breading with zero grease and all the flavor as well as that house-made dipping sauce - excellent. The pizzas - they are all of the highest quality. The toppings go from edge to edge, hemisphere to hemisphere. Let my pictures do the talking. Flavorwise -excellent. Texture of the crust - pinnacle. Customer service - top notch. Amore's - you are at the top of our pizza food chain. Prepare yourselves. Thank you for coming back to Grapevine and for the food and customer service you provide.

You can see the grease seeping onto the paper. Spots of crust were burnt. I am ok with a little burnt, but, this was too much. Gosh

The business grew and he opened a handful of other locations around the country. Ambiance: The restaurant is casual, but had a lot of intentional use of the space. There were wine racks, and even a private room where they have pizza making classes ($195 per person ). Service: Our server was Michelle. She was so kind as we danced around the idea of sitting on the patio vs indoors. The patio only had about 2 seats and it was windy that day. We decided to sit inside. Michelle was very friendly, and came by often to check in on us. Food: The pizzas are made in-house and very thin, just like the ones I've had in Italy. They have traditional pizzas and their famous "star" shaped pizzas. We decided to order the star Carlos pizza. The pizza blended Spanish/Mexican and Italian cuisines together by mixing Spanish chorizo, avocado, jalapeño, with ricotta, fresh tomatoes, and Italian Parmesan cheese. The pizza was really delicious!

About 24 minutes went by & I asked the cashier, "is it too late to sit down & eat here?" since there was a table open & no one else waiting on dine in I didn't think it would be much harm. He replied "yeah you got that" I went and sat down & about a minute in the waitress approached us and asked if we checked in. I tried to explain the situation and she cuts me off "it doesn't work that way, you need to pickup your food and leave" then walks off to attend the other tables before I can explain. I try to get her attention again for a few more minutes & she's avoiding me walking around the section where I'm sitting. Then she asks someone if there's "anyone who needs seats" and grabs 2 menus & approaches the table again, this time I explain the whole situation & she gives a half assed apology & tells me she has "2 people who need this table now." I relent & go back to wait by the door. After another 6 minutes of waiting our food gets brought to the dining room by another server & she has to go find us by the front door. Now I'm eating in my car, the fries are delicious & perfectly crispy with a soft fluffy inside. The pepperoni pizza is delicious with some nice small slices of pepperoni so they aren't split between bites. & the burger tastes pretty good, the patty is well toasted & the brioche bun is a nice touch. The food is fantastic which is a bummer because I don't think I'll be frequenting this location if service continues to be like this. However I believe it can be improved with just more communication & a united front & listening to someone when they're talking & not walking off mid conversation. I will not try & pretend like I am not at fault here because I did complicate things when I tried to dine in after ordering to-go, but there are better ways to deal with these things. Food - Look, if you're here, you're not here for the food. I started with the Steak Frites. The steak was super tender but lacked seasoning. The shoestring fries were awesome and made the perfect pairing to the steak. I ordered the Brisket Sliders but ended up with Wagyu Sliders. We were brought upstairs to this little loft area, which felt....like we were being punished. Now we were only a 2 top, so I can understand that they may not have a spot or wanted us to take up a 4-top on a Saturday night, but it felt...CRAMPED up there. This place really does seem fun, but it was very hard to enjoy it up in the attic... As far as the restaurant, it was very clean and well kept, no issues with how everything looked. Nothing was really out of place, although it did feel like the upstairs was a storage area. We ordered the Killer Queso for an appetizer, which was served with fritos. Odd choice for fritos, but hey, all good, didnt take away from the appetizer. What took away from the appetizer was the fact that this felt like it was heated up from a can. The cheese was not really seasoned well and it was already clumpy, like it had been left out for a while. Then we ordered 2 pizzas; The Bees Knees (spicy red sauce, hot soppressata, fresh moz, basil, honey) and Local Goat & Fig (bacon, goat cheese, free moz, dried figs, balsamic glaze, basil). Here is where I continue to say that pizza is a very opinionated meal, so your taste may differ, but this was my take. Flavor was there, I liked the pizza, it had a nice crispy crust, however, as far as the bee's knees, there was no spicy that pizza at all, like zero heat. The Goat & Fig was good, like the flavors they put on that pizza. The crust did lack some flavor and could have used some olive oil maybe. There was a nice crispy to the crust, like I said, but ZERO crisp on the bottom of it, which is odd. they had a nice wood fired oven (at least I think it was wood, hard to tell from the attic). So you thin they could get a nice bottom, but hey, it is what it is. Drinks. Had a OB Hef and also a Prickly Pear Mule, both were DIVINE, best part of the evening! Staff. Well, lets just say, she started off like she was going to be fun, but really felt like we were annoying her to have been seated up there. I could understand with having to walk up and down a narrow staircase with food and drinks. She must have passed us 5-6 times and we had not touched any more of our pizza. She finally did bring us a box for it. Overall, price was not bad, the drinks were awesome, the service was meh and the meal was meh. I think that this place could be KILLING IT, and maybe it was just an off night, perhaps we will try it again with a bigger party to see how it is.
