This place was excellent. I had ordered delivery many moons ago, so when my sister suggested it for dinner, I was in! There were six of us, for adults and two kiddos. The server was so nice and didn't miss a beat. I don't remember her name (sad face) but she was young with long, dark blonde hair. Apologies I only got one picture, we were having such a good time, I barely remembered to take a picture after we'd already downed a slice of pizza each. We started with appetizers. Let me just say, we're all foodies and my sister's husband is an executive chef so we like to try food. We ordered four appetizers (stuffed mushrooms, calamari, fried ravioli, alfredo sauce for dipping bread), a Meat Lover's pizza, a small white pizza, two children's fettuccini alfredo, and the Tortellini Michaelangelo. The alfredo sauce we ordered for dipping was really good but definitely lacking salt, probably from the lack of parmesan. It really just tasted like a nice garlic cream sauce with parsley. Great flavor once you salt it a little, definitely not an actual alfredo. The stuffed mushrooms were sooo good. The sauce on them was freaking magic. It was basically like the pink vodka sauce, I could just eat it by itself it was so tasty. The calamari was perfectly cooked, nice pale color as it should be so it's crispy but the squid isn't overcooked. The fried ravioli was lightly breaded and so flavorful, that breading was amazing. Moving on to the entrees, the kids were absolutely jealous of the pizzas. lol We had offered them the chance for pizza during ordering but they both stuck to fettuccine alfredo. My sister loved her white pizza, I tasted my brother-in-law's mom's tortellini dish and it was absolute delicious. But the real star was this regular sauce pizza. The crust was perfect (I'm a freak about pizza crust), the tasty red sauce was in a nice, light layer, the toppings were really good, everything just tasted of quality. We had seen bellisimo had opened in this spot some time within the last year or so. We had wondered it if was the same ownership as the location that had closed in its own stand alone building down the street. Still not sure as I forgot to ask when we were there. Service was wonderful when we went. Food was decent enough, a couple things we wouldn't get get again others in definitely would. Though for my thoughts that's more on personal taste preference. Like we thought the cheese sticks were just ok for the price, but enjoyed the garlic cheese bread. Bellisimo has been our favorite Italian restaurant since we moved to Grapevine in 2014. What a great family restaurant! I love their "Pasta Trio" (but I get it "the old way" on a plate instead of a boat. My hubby loves the Chicken Parmigiana. Their food and service are so consistently good. We are so glad Bellisimo reopened a few years ago at a new location (on Colleyville Blvd, near Cheek Sparger). I love supporting a GOOD, family-owned business. read more

Like most restaurants claiming to be Italian in North Texas, Bellisimo is not. Not even close. Just one example: their baked ziti was just the pasta with tomato sauce and mozzarella over it, baked until the cheese melted. Real Baked ziti MUST include ricotta, eggs, parsley, spices, etc. then baked until the cheese on the INSIDE is cooked. Not Italian. Not good. read more

Very disappointed in their pizza. Never have I been to an Italian Restaurant that didn't have fresh ingredients on their pizza. We ordered a veggie pizza and added sausage. They didn't have a garbage type of pizza to choose from so we created our own. I asked for it well done. It was not! They even brought it to me twice and asked if it was well done. How does a cook not know what well done means. After the first time I just gave up. The crust was the only thing good and well done on the pizza. They used canned mushrooms and sausage that looked and tasted like something you would get in a breakfast burrito from McDonalds. Gross. The bread they offered and meatballs we ordered as an appetizer were delicious. Maybe stick to the pasta and avoid pizza until they learn to do it right. read more

I am SO happy belissimo is back!! We went yesterday and got stuffed mushrooms, garlic bread with cheese, 2 orders of chicken belissimo, two kids spaghetti with .meatballs and another chicken dish that had peppers and marinara sauce. Everything was SO good. The service was great as well. The chicken belissimo is always perfection. We ended with two cannolis and they were perfect. So so happy to have this place back.
