We asked if we can start our time 15 minutes later to wait for my dad and sister. They said they cannot do that as they had another party coming. I knew that wasnt true. The place was very empty and just as I thought, as our time was over we saw there were no other parties coming in. . Also we had one person driving from Orlando. He showed up at 9:15 and our session was from 8-10. They still made him pay full price and the front lady was very rude about it. His selection is vast and organized, which is rare and greatly appreciated but most of all I have to say that I find Bernie to be the *MOST* fair of all KJ's. He doesn't play favorites, he won't be swayed by drunk nor flirt, he is straight and true to the end of the night and in a town, or bar, full of shady folk that is highly admirable IMO. So, this round of "Hopelessly Devoted" is for you Bernie. I've been going to that spot to karaoke with Bernie for about a year now. There's a great group of regulars, who are quite entertaining too. But back to Bernie... Bernie is always fair in the karaoke lineup. If you put in a song, you sing. In that order. Seems simple enough, but there's plenty of other KJs in and around Miami, who don't play by any rules and let their friends and regulars hog the mic. Bernie even keeps an eye on those folks who are trying to sneak in and duet on every person's song - which can actually be pretty hilarious to watch sometimes. I ordered four Birria tacos on corn tortillas ($19.00) and a michelada ($9.90). Everyone else's food came out correctly, but mine did not. The tacos were clearly served on flour tortillas instead of corn. I politely pointed out the mistake and asked for them to be replaced. Instead of correcting the order, the waitress brought back the exact same plate and looked me in the eye while insisting they were corn tortillas. They absolutely were not, and my friends confirmed the same. I refused to eat them and ended up taking them home for my daughter. What makes this especially upsetting is that this isn't just about getting an order wrong--mistakes happen. The problem is that the restaurant chose to lie rather than fix it. If this had been a customer with a gluten allergy or celiac disease, the consequences could have been serious. Serving the wrong food is one thing; knowingly trying to pass it off as something it isn't is completely unacceptable and incredibly irresponsible.

They did an incredible job taking care of our camp and helping us feed a large number of hungry kids. Handling big camp orders isn't easy, but JT's made it look that way. The food was always fresh, delicious, prepared correctly, and ready on time. The kids loved it and always looked forward to the days when JT's was on the menu! What really stood out to us was their reliability and willingness to work with us. When you're responsible for feeding an entire camp, you need a restaurant you can count on, and JT's came through for us every time. It's wonderful to have a local restaurant that not only serves great food but also steps up and supports kids and organizations in the community.
