My husband first brought me here for my birthday last year san kids. Loved every bit of it! The great part is that they have a fan that will suck all the smoke underneath, so you barely smell like bbq after. Of course, the true spotlight is on the food. Because it was my birthday, we opted for the premium menu. Honestly, we tried a variety of meats and although they were all good, when we go back, I'd probably just order the galbi. We did come back months later and this time, for my husband's birthday lunch after we played golf. His brother and dad were also with us and we tried their AYCE Korean fried chicken. AYCE for $15.99, but the catch is you have to order a drink. So, basically, more like $20. Chicken was good and we tried different flavors: soy garlic, spicy, cheese, honey (powder), and plain. The honey was my favorite, but to each their own! We tried to eat as much as we could to get our money's worth, but in the end--in my opinion--it's worth just getting it as an order, which is practically the same price and no requirement to order a drink. Overall, I would go back for kbbq... we have a good amount of kbbq spots in the county and of all the ones we've gone to, Hallyu is part of my top 3. I went to Hallyu Korean BBQ for the second time this weekend with friends, and it was just as amazing as the first visit. This place is an absolute gem. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, they really help guide you through everything and make sure you get the best experience. Service was prompt and spot-on the entire time. We reserved one of their private karaoke rooms which was perfect for being terrible singers without an audience As for the food, it's outstanding. The Korean barbecue is delicious across the board, but the spicy pork belly is definitely my favorite. The dumplings were also superb. I was hesitant about coming here because some of the reviews mentioned slow service and that it was loud. I have hearing loss in one ear which makes it difficult for me to have any conversations in loud environments. When we walked up to the restaurant, we heard music blaring right outside. I decided to take a chance and we walked in. Once inside, there is music but not at the level it was playing outside. They walk you to a gong, which they bang before bringing you to your table. We chose the AYCE. On your first round, you can order 5 meats but after that, you can only order 3 meats at a time. They have "Hallyu Recommendations" posted at your table which gives you suggestions as to what you should cook first and how to cook. They use nonstick grates which you clean after each meat with the wet paper towel they provide. This was a great idea! I loved that we didn't have to keep cooking over charred areas. My favorites were the Garlic Pork Belly and the Beef Bulgogi! The quality of the meat was excellent... we didn't have any fatty chewy pieces. The only downside for me was that appetizers and vegetables were not included and that the size of the grill is smaller compared to another KBBQ place that we normally go to. There was a call button at our table but we didn't have to use it because our server Diana, was fantastic! She checked on us frequently and would ask if we wanted to place another order and made sure that our beverages were full. read more

Our waitress would come then forget about us and come back 15 min later to take an order or bring what we asked. I llove the interior design/decorating. Korean, inspired, funky lighting and very spacious. Kpop music videos play on every TV. Each table or booth has the bbq pit for anyone who wishes to do the bbq and, a regular menu. I came here with a large group and we were seated in a seperate room. The decorations walking in was so fun and they hit a bong to let the waiters/waitress know you're being seated. They have different packages of protein you can choose from and my favorite two were the beef bulgogi and spicy pork belly. OMG AND THE FRIED PORK DUMPLINGS... TOP TIER FOR SURE! I came here for my birthday dinner, evening hour and the food and vibe were honestly great, but I do want to mention the start. After being seated, it took a while before anyone approached our table. I think it was the owner or manager who noticed and asked if a server had come yet. once they stepped in, everything changed for the better. After that, service picked up quickly and the experience was smooth. The meats were fresh and flavorful, the sides were delicious, and the atmosphere is so nice. the neon lights and overall vibe really make the place stand out. This is my third or fourth visit to HALLYU Korean barbecue and bar. I only get the $45 option which includes deluxe and premium and it's always 1000% worth it. I got a lychee martini with tequila it was delicious. Maybe because it was more busier than usual, but the service was actually really bad and we had to have help from two other servers to get some of things we needed. Ray the owner came over to actually show us how to use the "stove" because I've never used it myself lol he broke everything down and we were able to actually cook the food the way we were supposed to. Anton, the manager of the night was also really sweet and helped us as well. I suggested this restaurant to five of my other friends and because of the service they did not have the best experience. My favorite food is always the Bulgogi. The wings are pretty good too. I took away a star because of how horrible the service was initially, which was most of our meal and also the fact that there was an up charge for switching out alcohol and it wasn't told to us prior. I think if you're going up charge someone then it should be said before you actually do it. Outside of that it was a wonderful experience and we also checked out the karaoke area afterwards. I would suggest that they also arrange the artist by name and not just a song because it was a little bit confusing to navigate the book and the control for the music. You had to go in a specific country area to get pop music to get some of the artist. By the time we figured it out again we were already halfway done. Stumbled on a 5 star happy hour experience here today, while waiting for the pharmacy, and will certainly return. Be advised HH is only at the bar and it's not a large bar. Huge portions and stiff martinis at a very reasonable price! Martinis are $8 and mixed drinks are $6 with some hearty bites under $10 from 4-8p. Settled on the bulgogi fries and 6 wings with spicy sauce (which was sweet and spicy). Both were tasty and very shareable. Large space that is colorful and clean. K-pop tracks to move your shoulders to. Service is kind and attentive. Darrell is an absolute treat energetically. He shared there should be a karaoke night coming soon on Thursdays. Last night my son treated my husband and i to Mother's Day's dinner at a Korean BBQ restaurant I wanted to always experience. We just moved to this area and he chose this restaurant based on its rating. The greeting was exciting. The young lady was smiling and delightful. The decorations were young and busy and made us smile as did the music. (I watch Korean movies constantly). We were seated quickly and met the nicest waiter ever not only did he bring us the food but he explained Everything!! He has great positive attitude- if they allow us to we will be asking for Trevor again for our next visit which will be soon. The amount of food is humongous!! The types are delicious!! The way to cook is clean and cleaned between each type of food. We chose the $45 all you can eat!! It gave us a way to try most of the types of foods and decide for ourselves what we like. We've been looking for a new KBBQ spot once Manna closed (RIP). We usually try to avoid the AYCE because quality tends to decline but decided to give this a shot. We ordered off the regular menu rather than the AYCE. The veggie dumplings were nice and crispy. The inside filling was just ok - there was something flour-y in it that I didn't love. Japchae is one of my fave foods and I would say that this was ok...decent amount of meat but in a soupy sauce and slightly overcooked noodles. It was a decent portion. If this was on the AYCE menu we might do that one time. The bibimbap was good, very small portion of meat but nicely cut veggies. The rice underneath was cold...we didn't opt for the hot stone bowl for $3 more but still..the rice should be hot. We were offered Banchan but the only one we were interested in was the kimchi, which was good and not too fishy. Service was very friendly and we were the only people in there for most of the time on a Monday lunch hour. It's a huge space with Japanese music videos and art - super loud music I might add. They make all of their sauces in house per the server - no cans/bottles etc. Might try it out again if we're in the area but still on the hunt for our next go-to! read more

Takes her forever to come back to ask if you want more meat. We were not told about being charged the Tuscany natural Spring Water. $9 each!!!! And we were served 2 bottles. I recommend the Hallyu steak. Wagyu brisket. Not a big selection on banchan though. The equipment Korean grill is great quality, literally smoke free. Except we were told to clean the grill with this piece of napkin over and over again between different kinds of meats. Our waitress refused to change the napkin when it got very black and dirty. There was one time and another waitress approached our table and she was able to get us what we wanted/ needed , comment to her. Thought this place would be more traditional in terms of Korean bbq.... Corn cheese is extra, no fish cakes, no rice paper.... Service is kinda slow, never got the honey fries, they time the rounds of meat while you wait you can only order a certain amount per round, you can tell they lure skimpy, they barely give you any sauce, you have to ask for more.... Soju is 16$ A BOTTLE.... And you have to order extra apps which aren't cheap which takes away from the kbbq so you spend more and eat less meat.... Def price gouging here, I know the place cost a pretty penny to build but this is not traditional Korean unfortunately. You can tell the employees are having fun but the emphasis is definitely on the atmosphere and not so much the service or getting what you ordered. So we were all excited to try this place and it was way way overpriced. It cost me $200 for three people, including a tip. I don't mind paying if something is really good but it was not good. The food was subpar not good quality the steak was fatty. The chicken was OK. They barely gave you a lot of food and veggies and the way they bring it out, it was horrible and then the fire pit that you cook it on wasn't heating up very well either so it took a long time. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone I will never go back. I have K-pop in my neighborhood which I've eaten at many times and it's delicious and they have a lot more options in the food. quality is way better for a lot less money and even that's expensive, but this was outrageous and I was very displeased and I would not recommend anyone to eat here. I don't know why people think it's good, it's horrible. I had a friend that told me it was great, but no and it was not and not very crowded. Honestly, I can only give this place one star. The food itself was okay, but for $55 per person, the service completely ruined the experience. We went in the evening and the restaurant didn't even look that busy, yet the service was still slow and messy. The servers kept forgetting things we asked for, and we had to remind them multiple times just to get what we ordered. It got really frustrating. On top of that, one of the servers seemed like they were in a rush to go home and was noticeably not very friendly in their tone when talking to us, which made the experience even worse. There were only two servers handling about eight tables, which is clearly a management problem. The staff wasn't lazy -- they were just stretched way too thin. The place looks nice and well decorated, but it seems like they care more about how it looks than actually hiring enough people to run it properly. Even though it wasn't crowded when we were there, everything still took forever. I can't imagine how chaotic it would be if the restaurant were actually busy. For this price, I could easily go to a much better BBQ place with friendlier, more attentive service. Starting the New Year with such a bad dining experience was really disappointing. On Monday I went with three of my friends, and we drove almost an hour because we had heard such great things and were really excited to try it. When we first got there, we were honestly a little nervous because the restaurant was busy and it looked like there was only one server handling all the tables. But Trevor was incredible. He never once seemed stressed or overwhelmed, even though he was clearly working hard. He remembered everything we asked for (and we definitely asked for a lot ), checked on us often, and had such a friendly and genuine attitude the whole time. And the food was easily the best Korean BBQ we've had so far. My friends and I have been trying different places looking for a spot we really love, and this one is definitely it. Ok...this is the best Korean BBQ in south Florida...they have a unique exhaust system that keeps the smoke off of you. If you're fortunate, the owner will stop by and teach you how to properly offer a toast to one's elders and clean the grille. Every option of meat and vegetable was so delicious. We visited this restaurant as a group of six on February 28. The food quality was good overall, and the meat selection was satisfying, which is why I am giving credit for the food itself. However, the service experience was disappointing and significantly affected our overall impression. We arrived around 8:00 PM, and although the restaurant was not full at that time, we were asked to wait more than 20 minutes before being seated at a table for six. Our server was a slim Asian female staff member. Throughout the meal, her attitude felt cold and unfriendly, with very limited communication and no effort to check whether our table needed anything unless we actively tried to get attention. After being seated, she took our food order, but no water or drinks were offered initially. Our food had already started arriving before anyone returned to ask about beverages. During the meal, the service call button at the table did not seem to work, making it difficult to request assistance. Several items we ordered were delayed or forgotten, so we had to ask multiple times. In addition, each time the server passed by our table, she adjusted the grill heat lower without explanation, which made cooking less convenient for our group. At checkout, I paid the full bill in cash for all six guests. Since gratuity was already included for a party of six, this was never clearly explained to us. The server only told me the total amount without showing the receipt. After I handed over the cash, she returned change without providing the bill. Because I specifically requested the receipt afterward, I then noticed that the returned change was short by $12, and she informed me that the amount had been miscalculated. This created an uncomfortable impression, especially because the bill had not been provided unless requested. Overall, the food was enjoyable, but the service felt inattentive, inconsistent, and lacking professionalism. As a foodie, one of my biggest ick is when your clothes smell like smoke, especially after going to kbbq. Luckily, this restaurant revolutionized the way you eat kbbq in Coral Springs! It's smokeless and they installed exhaust that makes that smell disappear! Not only that, once you enter, the staff welcomes you with a bang! Literally a bang on the gong! It's definitely a way to standout among different kbbq. The meat is very fresh and they serve up plenty of banchan for you! As seen all over Yelp & social media, Hallyu is an AYCE KBBQ spot in Tamarac! After a lot of discussion in our cousin group chat, we finally ended up picking Hallyu for our catch up dinner. We had a group of 9 & knew we should make a reservation- luckily, Yelp has that available! This made the process of booking a large party so easy and when we arrived at dinner, they didn't have any problems adding a last minute 3 additional people to the table. We came on a weekday evening and it wasn't busy, which is great because my group of cousins can be a lot to handle. The ambiance of the place is nighttime vibes and is super clean. I would still consider this spot to be a little newer and the service was overall great, especially with handling us at our hangriest, but it was a bit slow considering there weren't too many other tables to wait on. I think they might still be getting their footing but this seems to be the only complaint (if you can even call it that) that I've heard about this spot. The prices here are a bit high but you definitely get what you pay for. The meats are premium and some of the highest quality I've seen for KBBQ in South FL. There were selections I haven't seen in other places including wagyu brisket & wagyu beef belly- yum. They also have good selection for drinks! I appreciate the servers handling such a big group and navigating most of the table doing All-you-can-eat and a few only drinking. I don't think they normally allow this but so grateful they accommodated to us the evening we came to visit- it made the experience five stars for me. Best Korean BBQ I've ever had! Just opened three months ago. Best part: 1. smokeless grill and environment. They have invested in modern grills with vents that suck the smoke back in so you leave without smelling like a grill. 2. Great quality meats: beef, pork belly, shrimp. Including wagyu and rib eye. Normally Korean BBQs use low quality meats and this is not the case here. 3. Lively ambition, KPop , gingham style vibes with big screen tvs. They also have two private karaoke rooms that are $35 pp plus (food included) a $50 room rental fee.
