Lordy I've been on the struggle bus for a few months now with nail techs. I found a solid one a while back but she started traveling extensively and our schedules didn't work. I started going to another place by my old house, it's started out good but the communication sucked so I stopped going there. I moved downtown and went to one place, it was cool. But dark inside. Well it was reflected in the work because after one week, my gel mani was falling apart. Nails cost too much for that to be happening! I was frustrated yet again by a nail shop. I promise I'm not picky, I wear simple nails, No design but I do hold a high regard for bail services because it isn't cheap. I came to my trusted Yelp for another referral. I called and the lady was so pleasant on the phone. I asked if they had availability and she said yes, you can come in now. I went right over. It's 2 miles from me so that was awesome. I went in and explained what was happening and that I'm done with gel and I'm interested in the dipping powder technique for my nails and I need a regular pedi. She talked with me and explained the dipping technique (this was my first time) and explained that it would be stronger for my nails. I had heard it previously so I was ready. She removed my gel, no pain whatsoever. She was a beautiful soul and great to chat with. We figured out we'd both lived in the same neighborhood previously. Small world. Another sweetheart did my feet and she did an awesome job too! Super friendly and gentle with my toes. The energy was beautiful at this salon. I appreciate that! I was so satisfied w the superior work that I received today and I so appreciate it! I gave all the ladies hugs, I felt like I met new friends today. Looking forward to my next appointment with them and I'm so glad I found them! They are true gems who provide excellent service! They are open till 10pm who's is awesome! read more

Luna was awesome, she knew exactly what I needed/wanted in a classic square nail. Extremely happy with the final result. She takes her time with each nail to keep the same beautifully curated shape. She even did a color palette swatch for me for the natural peachy nude shade we chose as my base. This color did an excellent job masking my short nail beds. Honestly unsure how reviews are even decent for this place? I guess you get what you pay for. I went into this very tiny salon and didn't have to wait too long, but the girl who came in after me got seated first? No appointment and also was getting a full set, but okay maybe an oversight since there's no sign in book. The man who did my nails RUSHED so badly. Despite having lotion and cuticle oil next to him, he used neither. Didn't ask if I wanted a design. Cut my nails shorter than I asked & did a horrible job (see photos). Not to mention my nails were incredibly thick, and I usually get acrylics. Never in my life have I been told so annoyed, so many times to keep my elbows on the table (it helps him perform). I'm from Cali here for the weekend and left work to late to get my nails touched up. Looked this place up on YELP. It had pretty good reviews and it was less than a mile walk from where I was. So I took that .8 walk in this disrespectful heat. Once there it was nice and cool, very busy and felt like mostly regulars where there. I don't write bad reviews but I was so unhappy with my nails. Made an appt a few days prior w/ Luna since I seen lots of pics of her work that I liked. Place is very small but easy to find. When I arrived she was working on a girl but finished quickly. I told her I wanted a coating of acrylic on top of my natural nails with a nude gel color and marble design on a my index finger. When she started doing the acrylic, I didn't realized how low she was placing it. I liked the nude gel color I selected but hated the marble design. Also had to have her fix my nail shape because it was not even. I believe she charged me $55-60 for this and I still tipped her $10. When I left, I realized how horrible they looked. I had to file the sides because she left them all rough. My middle finger had a black speck on it and after 3 days it looked like my nails had already grown out. If she hadn't rushed, I think she could have done a better job. But I for sure won't be coming back here again. read more

Definitely do not recommend this place. I had shellac french nails done on Thursday night. By Sunday morning my white tips were completely stained and were starting to chip. The edges of the paint were peeling off as well, creating an overall messy and unkempt appearance. I do not do a manual job or garden, etc. activities that would cause my nails to become like that. I noticed the nail tech did not add the drying solution that they usually add on before shellac nails. I'm wondering if that's why my nails are peeling after a few days. Overall, NOT worth the money. I've added pictures so you can see how my nails look. I'm now going to have to get them redone somewhere else. read more

So I know I said I was only going to Sparkle but I lied. LOL The last time I went to that place I begged for her not to add acrylic to my nails but she did anyways and they STILL ended up breaking! I went on a two week vacay and came back with 5-6 completely broken & chipped nails! My flight landed at 9:30 I was in Tina's chair at AMPM by 10PM done with my mani + soak off & complete pedi by 11:45!! Tina was amazing !!! Great service I will be back in two weeks! This place should not be in business. It must be highly rated because it's open late and the nail tech, Luna, who I must not have had. Yelp is usually reliable. Don't go here. Go anywhere but here. My manicurist talked nice but did a damaging number on my nails. I wonder if she was even trained. I'll start with the polish and go backwards. She did not paint to the edge of my nails and used a top coat, only. I painted my nails neater at 10 years old. For a regular polish, she put my hands under the light for the time frame of a gel dry and pulled then out and said they were dry, obviously trying to clear my chair in this too-small-dirty hole. Of course my nails were not dry and she watched as a fully wet nail stained my white pants. She said Oh and walked away without offering to touch up. This was after charging $30 for a half completed manicure. Prior to this, she carelessly dragged the electric nail file twice all over my nails instead of the hand held remover, making huge dents in the top of my nail. All while calling me "baby." She pretended to buff the tops of my nails with one crappy swipe, leaving them rough like i had put them in the garbage disposal. Instead of putting swabs of acetone with foil on my nails, she soaked my fingers in a bowl of acetone. I thought it was water. How could it be this bad? It was a malicious manicure. I was so excited to try this place, too, because it's close and convenient. read more

This is a little gem only slightly off the main drag of the strip. It's nestled next to a little Thai restaurant and offers a small, but well organized, space to get your mani/pedi on. It was easy to make an appointment by calling ahead and we didn't have to wait long once we got there. Pick your color, have a seat, watch some music videos playing. It's a little on the speedier side - I blame the location -and you can tell they see a lot of tourists. The first question they asked everyone was, "Where are you from?". My French gel manicure turned out really nice and lasted just under two weeks before it started to peel. My pedicure was also well done and my foot massage was heaven. I never can figure out how to work those darn massage chairs though. Maybe next time. read more

The salon is not in a fancy building nor is it a glitz and glam kinda place inside. BUT what you do get when you go in is quality and that is the important thing. Luna does my nails and she listens to what I want and strives to achieve exactly what I want. I have not had a nail pop off or chip up like I had experienced in other places.
