This was, without exaggeration, the worst nail salon experience of my life. I booked an appointment through their system, yet upon arrival nobody even bothered to check my reservation or ask for my name. Instead, they immediately tried to upsell me on extremely expensive services. The most shocking part is that these prices are being charged by people who seem to lack even basic knowledge and skills in their profession. First of all, hygiene standards were practically nonexistent. The older woman who worked on my nails wore no gloves, used a UV lamp as a hand rest, and there was no dust extraction system running, meaning I spent the entire appointment breathing nail dust. Even worse, the tools used on me were simply wiped off and put back without any visible disinfection. Completely unacceptable. The woman removed my previous set so aggressively that she removed skin along with the product. Instead of properly preparing my cuticles, she used an e-file in such a careless manner that she cut almost every single finger, leaving me with multiple open wounds. I requested square nails, yet every nail ended up crooked and uneven. When I asked for a correction, I was told it was "too late." Too late for what exactly remains a mystery. Then came the most painful part. She applied some product from an unlabeled bottle, calling it a "base," and spread it directly onto the open cuts she had just created. The burning sensation was unbearable. After that, she proceeded to pour gel over both my nails and the wounds. Throughout the entire appointment, instead of acknowledging her mistakes, she repeatedly insisted that I was "allergic" in an apparent attempt to excuse the pain and burning she had caused. I am not allergic--this has been medically confirmed, and I have been getting my nails done regularly for over 10 years without ever experiencing anything remotely similar. Open wounds covered with chemicals are not an allergic reaction; they are the result of poor technique and negligence. I was in so much pain that I asked her to remove everything immediately because I simply wanted to leave. I walked out with bleeding fingers, damaged nails, and paid $25 for this experience. Had I not been desperate to leave because of the pain, I would not have paid even $1. The final appearance of my nails was honestly heartbreaking. I would never allow a client to leave in such a condition. Absolutely unacceptable service, terrible hygiene standards, lack of professionalism, and complete disregard for client safety. Looking at my fingers now, I finally understand why so many people avoid this part of town. I would strongly advise anyone to stay away from this salon. Saw this place on here and decided to try it. The area outside was sketch but the salon inside was really nice. I got gel x and a pedicure. I loved the pedicure but the nails, I felt like she didn't even really care when she did it. After one week, a nail popped off and it was lifting. I wanted to get treated while in Vegas. This salon was near my Air bnb. Everyone was nice and I am giving an extra start because they were accomodating as I was running behind. I showed the lady my pinterest page of what I wanted . I got the dip, chrome and we had to do a few test options because the color was just not coming out correctly. I ended up leaving, came back home . Unfortunately, 3 of my nails started chipping after 2 days. I'm not talking the polish the dip on top. They were very thin, and sharp. that I scratched myself at least once trying to put on my clothing. IYikes ! I spent a lot on them too , so that was very upsetting. Once things got rollin everyone was talking , joking around , it was a good time . They tried to upsell us to VIP pedicures , but we were on a budget this time around haha. If you want any add ons they'll quote you right then and there. What was unexpected but nice is that in the description it says you get a 10 min massage, they pull out a timer and set it to 10 minutes and start massaging your legs, timer goes off and than they move on. We walked in and it was obvious the nail tech already had another client appointment coming up, but instead of simply telling us they couldn't take walk-ins, they rushed my girlfriend through the entire gel builder manicure. I understand businesses get busy, and I never want to interfere with someone's livelihood or schedule, but rushing a paying customer just to squeeze them in is not okay. Firstly, the A/C needs to be fixed or something because it was hot inside. 110 degrees outside and it felt like 90 inside the building. The prices are pretty average. $50 for a pedicure and $40 for gel manicure. My pedicure was okay. Although it came with a callus remover, she didn't scrub that much. The worker also tried to get me to upgrade my pedicure numerous times, like girl I said no. She tried every tactic in the book. Overall, my nails were okay. I saw a few flaws on my gel nails and my nails weren't exactly even but it got the job done. They charge to use a card. They close late which is a plus. read more

From the parafin wax, hot stones, mask, hit towels to the foot massage, then off to Vy where she explained the benefit of Gel X and the benefit for the health of my nails. I came here because of the high ratings to get a pedicure. My experience was terrible. The venelation is bad, it smells. That should have been the red flag. The water was cold, after 5 attempts to warm it up it was just ok. She cut my toe deep and it wouldn't stop bleeding. It hurt. It bled on tools I hope got cleaned and were clean. I left with a bandaid on it. I am appalled at the number of reviews where others were also cut. My sister's polish had a large crease it in which the tech saw and ignored. That polish seemed old, the tech had a hard time putting it on. It didn't look nice. She works really hard and I wanted to treat her. It became awkward as the other staff were pointing and giving looks to each other because they knew my tech was taking a long time and that my toe was bleeding. After over an hour and a half for a "deluxe" pedicure I was done. I was going to be nice and wasn't going to ask to not pay but with no real apology from her or much acknowledgement then making an excuse it wasn't that bad made me mad. At checkout the Manager just stood there eyes wide and not saying anything. After I asked he didn't charge me. I will never return. Don't believe all these 5 star reviews. I initially wasn't going to post a review because I think my nail tech might have tried her best and she was sweet but I had to go get my nails fixed two days after I had them done at glitter and gloss. I really wanted to like them but they were chunky, uneven in length/shape, and you could see my natural nail under the design. She tore my pinky UP with the fingernail file. I also didn't appreciate how many times she tried to change my mind to getting acrylic nails. I made an appointment for builder gel and was told someone could take care of me and do just as well on my nails as the employees I tried to make my appointment with. If I call and make an appointment for builder gel, put me with someone who knows what they're doing or just deny the service. Don't waste peoples time and money. read more

Since most of them had broken, I only wanted a cuticle cleanup and clear polish, and she made them look so much better. I wish I had a before photo to show just how short and rough they were! Mindy took care of my toes, and she was excellent. The cuticle work was meticulous, the gel polish looks perfect, and the massage with pineapple oil was the finishing touch. Glitter and Gloss is located in a plaza 10 minutes from the strip. Updated interior with comfortable seating. No wait for a walk in on Wednesday at noon. I asked for the regular pedicure ($30) and builder gel manicure ($60). My pedicure was great! The nail tech (didn't catch her name) was meticulous. She took her time prepping and carefully painted my toes. The gel builder was not up to par with previous salons I've had in the past. First, a separate paint brush was used to dip into a pot of builder gel which made it messier and got all over gel my skin. In the past, the builder gel always came in a bottle with a brush like a regular polish. She also didn't cut & trim my cuticles, wasn't a fan of that. And most importantly, Holly was a bit abrasive with the drill when she was filing down the gel. The drill bit kept cutting into my cuticles and the edges was bleeding. In the end, my nails still looked decent. I wish she was a bit more careful and meticulous in shaping my nails. She didn't care to compare to make sure all the nails matched and filed the gel so the surface was even. Felt like she was just going through the motion.. Overall, it was okay. Wouldn't come back for the builder gel. The set just depends on which technician you get. Some are more meticulous than others. read more
