Worst ever. Credit cards not working, rest rooms not working. Do not come here. Horrific.

This ampm doesn't think it's important to provide their customers with a restroom so that they can wash their hands before eating food purchased at this same ampm. The cashiers are extremely aloof to the dangers this presents and it seems that management doesn't care one single bit. Corporate ampm has said they are looking into it and will have it corrected, but clearly in the two weeks since this was first brought to their attention nothing has been done. DO NOT SHOP HERE! The owner is a very hands-on boss, which would be fine if he weren't such an awful human being. He hates people that use the AMPM rewards app, so whenever he's at the register he says the app isn't working. When he's not there however it works just fine. I pointed this out to him one day and he told me it's because he turns it off. I've even dealt with him overcharging my card several times, and then misconstruing the amount overcharged as the amount still owed, which he then deMandy's in cash. No amount of explanation or evidence will convince him of his mistake either. Seriously, Poppy's will be opening across the street in no time. Less than a block away is a full-service 76 station (meaning they'll pump your gas, wash your window, and check your tires and fluids for free, though tips are appreciated). A little further down is a Chevron with a car wash, larger convenience store, and an attached Jack in the Box. This AMPM offers nothing but grumpy old man vibes. read more

So we rolled off the 101 on our way from Oxnard to Monterey and found this AM PM that we needed to use for it's facilites. As we parked a homeless gentleman pulled up next to us on a park. Much to my surprise he started talking (to me?) when I opened the door. It sounded a little like "you ****ing *******. *****! and ****** your *****" Nice guy - he had his own set of issues so I let him be. Went for the restrooms, which are co-ed by the way, walked in and was greeting by this pungent smell of feces and urine. Nothing was clean in here, save for the paper towels still stored inside the container on the wall. There was fecal matter on the wall and urine splashed all over the floor. Perhaps they should change their tagline from "too much good stuff" to "not enough clean stuff" I didn't get a chance to interact with the staff since my fear of contracting Hepatitis A-Z was pretty high so I'm giving them an extra star. Just avoid the bathrooms here. read more

Well first off I stopped in the Arco and I had to use the restroom but everything was shut down so I didn't like that part so I had to go to Dennys. Thank God for them. If it wasn't for them I would had to use the restroom outside lol . But over all the experience was exciting lol read more

Nothing is more ubiquitous in American life than a car. We use it to drive everywhere we can. And outside of the big major cities (think New York City and San Francisco, among others), a car is a necessity. In order to drive a car, you need fuel. There are many places you can go for gas, but thanks to hard economic times, many people like myself look for the lowest price per gallon. This ARCO station has one of the lower prices for gas in San Luis Obispo County. Granted, this is a small station (it can get crowded at times), but at least you can pay for your gas via ATM (provided you're lucky that the ATM doesn't eat your cash up and not give you credit, as what's happened to me a few times here). If you don't trust the machines, you can always pay inside the store. At least you can pump your gas relatively quickly here and get on your way. The staff is also friendly too. Overall, if you are looking for lower gas prices in San Luis Obispo County (and near 101 freeway), then this is one of the places to fuel up. read more

I always come here for gas!! I been coming to this gas station for about 8 years now . staff is friendly and helpful . I never had an issue here, except over the summer, when half of the dam valley comes to my town and ruins the streets, gas stations, and restrooms. . you should stop by to meet friendly staff . cashiers are always super nice. I recall sometime back I over paid the clerk and he came out to my car and gave me a $20 back, I guess the bills were stuck together , thanks guys !! read more

i go to AM/PM because i expect them to have their standard services. They may not be i the same quality from place to place but they have similar services and products. THIS AM/PM thinks if it is during the night you should not need their restroom, they have a sign saying 10pm - 6am. And gets quite agitated if you ask why. Just Keep going, don't stop. IF headed south stop at the one in Arroyo Grande, cleaner and Restrooms are open all night. read more

The most horrible experience I've ever had at a gas station. I gave the cashier $100 to fill up the RV after a great weekend. The cashier which I later found out was the owner, put the money on the wrong pump which allowed someone to steal my gas. After I confronted the cashier about the situation he was extremely defensive and said he could do nothing about it. I told him there has to be something you can do this was your mistake not mine. A police officer just so happened to be inside at the time seen us exchanging words and tried to resolve the situation he too was shocked on how stupid he handled the situation. The officer asked him that's what he had insurance for for mistakes like this and he said he is not going to allow his premium to go up for anyone which I thought was pretty selfish of him even though it was his fault. My advice don't stop here and support a business owner that does not care about its customers. read more

Went here on 8/8/17 at 3:30 pm. Jesus and another employee who I'm assuming was management since he marked a product down for what seemed to be a regular customer. Jesus was very rude. Talking to a customer about a recent relationship that went bad. Jesus used extremely foul language saying Fu*k that bit*h and bitc@3s ain't sh*t and all they're good for is to fuc* and leave. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I then confronted Jesus and told him he shouldn't use that language at work and he said okay like it was nothing. When he saw the look on my face he said okay sorry. In a nonchalant way. He said all this while eating with his mouth open on a bag of am/pm nuts at the register. I filed a complaint with corporate. Don't know if anything will come of it. I would drive out my way to avoid spending my money here. The other employee said nothing but had a smirk on his face. read more

There are some people in this world that are not happy no matter how much they have been given. This is the case, in my opinion. The owners are rude and distrustful. On two occasions they have tried to overcharge me for items on my credit card. My girlfriend once gave them my card, and realizing I had enough cash, tried to void out the transaction on the keypad. He reached across the counter and pushed OK. I almost flipped out. have only gone there for necessity. There is a nice gas station off the grand avenue exit with the same, or better prices. Very very bad customer service. I went in to grab a soda while my car was still filling up and the cashier was on his cell phone on a PERSONAL CALL the whole time he rang my soda up. He was hardly paying any attention to me. And while this was all going on there was another worker who could have rang me up just hanging out not doing anything. read more
