I had such a horrible experience at this store using the 711 app , I tried the skip the line option and paid on my phone and showed the cashier who wouldn't accept it, and was basically yelling at me telling me I was lying, and made us pay again when I asked for the manager the man next to him rudely told me he was the manager and said it wasn't real , I was so confused the app clearly shows you the store and that I have 4 min to confirm my purchase and skip the line , which I was still in line waiting my turn , the manager had no name tag and would not give me his name , i would never go here again and we frequently stop here now the 711 in Grover was so helpful and very nice , don't waste your money here and go a little bit more up the road to Grover 711 Clearly in the app it says they offer mobile check out Included pics of the rudest cashier ever read more

The Indian guy on Saturday night was super racist and wouldn't sell me a taquito because I didn't want the hard one that wasn't turning on the grill, then sold three to someone else in front of me and helped the other customer not buy expired food items in the heat cabinet. I go in there all the time and that dude acts like it's his store when it's not and tries to make up rules when I'm there when I'm there spending money all the time. He needs to be fired for discriminating when I'm there as a paying customer. read more

Had a pretty poor experience when my boyfriend and I went to 7-11 to go get some iconic 7-11 coffee and snacks but when we tried to get a cup of coffee, we soon realized that there wasn't even enough to fill up a small cup (we had a large cup for reference) so we ended up dumping it. When we went up to the counter I told the cashier that we didn't get the coffee because there wasn't enough and that he should probably change out the bag, he then proceeded to charge us for not just ONE but TWO large cups of iced coffee that we didn't even get to walk out with. I don't know if he was having bad day or what but he was very rude about the whole situation and did not care to listen to us at all. Save yourself some time, money, and patience and just go to the nearest convenience store that isn't this one read more

The 7-Eleven is quite handy when I go visit my mom. It's usually very busy and does have gas pumps out front which is quite handy. It's also right next to two large RV parks and a couple mobile home parks right on the strip of Highway one in Pismo beach. Actually there gas prices are pretty comparable to anything up on the highway so it's easy and easy out and they have most anything and everything you need when you're camping or just need a good snack fix. read more

Just had a bad customer service experience. The long haired elderly lady in THIS STore IS VERY RUDE!!!! She snaps at "CERTAIN" people but is cordial to "others"!!!!? Absolutely horrible customer service. We frequent this location when in town. We happened to be in town with my daughter for her 14th birthday. We had taken her and her friends shopping around the area, they were looking at beach necklaces. They went into this 711 to check out the necklaces, when my daughter was falsely accused of shoplifting from the lady behind the counter. Her friend had purchased a necklace and when they walked outside a male clerk followed them out and told them to come back in they were seen stealing. They checked her bags and told her to empty her pockets. She pulled the " said stolen necklace" which my daughter pointed out was not even the same brand as the ones they sell. The clerk let them go and said sorry for the confusion. No apologies from the clerk that accused her. My daughter was so humiliated and came back in tears over this incident. Absolutely ridiculous to treat someone this way after falsely accusing them, and can't even offer an apology when they were wrong. read more

The two legal terms coming to mind are: Fraud and Bait-and-Switch And over something so stupid. Firewood. Advertising firewood at the front door labeled as "Red Oak". Nice dark firewood. After paying for it you suddenly get redirected behind the cashier and forced to grab "Pine-Eucalyptus". When questioning you're being told "it's the same". "It's mislabeled". And then let's just repeat the same answer over and over so it must be true. Just by looking at it you could tell the difference between the wood. And the label was the clue for people that couldn't see the difference. Then get other local customers involved who don't even know what's going on. And according to the 7-Eleven employee Ace Firewood from Arroyo Grande doesn't know what they're doing and are mislabeling their firewood. I gave up explaining it to them and continued loading my ice and firewood as I was voicing my disappointment for them to try to make it look like I was the problem. As I'm loading my car in the parking lot she even made a 911 call to report I don't know what. That an unhappy customer is loading the items he paid for while exercising his right of free speech. Sit back, relax, grab some popcorn, and get ready for this doozy of a review. This past summer (summer of 2021) every wednesday me and my friends would hang out in downtown pismo. We would walk around and buy things and do stuff like that. We decided that we should stop by 7-11. I think I recognize the lady who is tending the cash register.... I realize it is the mom of one of the kids at my school, Cesar. Cesar has disabilities and stuff like that and is a cool kid. At least he's cool now. Back in 7th grade like two years ago, we had an issue where he said that I hacked into his school Chromebook and made him say something that he didn't. This is obviously not true, but anyways, I got called to the office. Long story short, he told his mom lies about me and stuff like that. So me and my friends walk in, and I think I recognize the woman at the counter. We grab our items and check out. I ask her "are you by chance Cesar's mom?" She replies "yes." She asks me who I am, and I tell her. She looks me dead in the eye for like 3 seconds. Then she says "your saving grace is that I'm at work right now." She made gun with her hands as well. She also smelled like weed, but I'm not entirely sure it was her. A homeless guy was in there a bit before us and it was honestly probably him. not bad for the snacks and stuff and a large slurpee is only like $2.25 or something like that. tl;dr: The cashier lady threatened me (a MINOR) with violence. read more

Whole family that works there is very unprofessional I came in to buy something on my cash aid side of my food stamps card and he told me that I wasn't allowed to cause it's "food stamps" I tried to explain to him that I have access to food and cash benefits and he wasn't understanding, the lady behind me even tried to explain to him what I was saying and he wouldn't listen I went to buy a cookie and used the key pad to chose my "cash benefits" and it went through. He again told me that I couldn't buy my item with the cash benefit after I just showed him it worked, he wouldn't even let me try to buy my items with the ebt card. I waited till the evening to come back (hoping for shift change, I was staying at pcv) to buy my nephew a slurpee and they told me to leave and did allow me to use my ebt card. Very unprofessional all because he thought he was right when in fact Mr Bali wasn't right. Been going here for years with my family and never had an issue with my ebt card except today. There was a nice guy in there that even heard what Mr Bali was saying and he told me he understood what I was trying to tell Mr Bali , about there being a cash side and a food side and he ended up buying my chapstick, I was also hoping to go back in there to explain to the manager that their employees had false info and I couldn't in fact use my ebt card there and they didn't even give me the chance to explain. read more

Don't shop there. They falsely accuse customers of things they absutely did not do. They make false accusations that put their customers in a potentially dangerous situation. These people are not honest and take no responsibility for false claims towards patrons who simply stop in the purchase a bottle of water on their way to work. Well while I was outside drinking it a man pulls up with a bike and was very nice asked me how my day was and we started talking. Some blonde bitch came out and told him to leave cause they don't allow homeless ppl here. HE WASNT HOMELESS! just now-Edit The 711 store near me has a high turn over rate in employes. I have been going there for over 8 years and I could say overall it has been great. Now, most of the people working there are great and nice. But they got a new clerk all the time. There is a new clerk, hi's name is Ken. About a month ago I saw him selling Tabacco to minors without an ID and I alerted him to be careful and not do that again and remember to check ID's cause that was his job. Since then the guy has been very rude, making body gestures, as he is going to serve me and shaking his head and even mumbling under his breath. Today I asked him if I had done something to him? He said: "You are over-sensitive." lol I asked him what his name was, he said what is your name back to me? I said Abel, he said then he's name was Ken and the owner is Tim. Short review for this only because I was just passing through and needed to stop. We were on the way back taking pch from San fran almost all the way to San diego amd needed to stop for gas. Gas price was ok, place was very dirty and needs a lot of work to get it on part with other 711s. Only reason I don't 1 star it is it was slightly cheaper gas than other places. It's probably not the owners fault but my debit card was duplicated after filling up with gas at this station. I've stopped here before and hadn't had any problems so hopefully the issue has already been fixed. I filled up on 5/26/18 and my card was used for online purchases the very next morning. read more

I visited the 711 on dolliver st and never have I ever had such rude service from an individual. I noticed her name was Stephanie.I wish I knew the owner because that type of person doesn't belong in customer service jobs.She was super rude and rolled her eyes when I spoke to her.I go there occasionally but I won't be back until they get rid of such service. Walked in and the lady working was mopping the floor. I stepped on the wet floor, thinking she wouldn't mind me looking at the snacks. She said "go around". So I quickly moved away from the wet floor. The lady mopping then backs into my boyfriend. He politely says "on your right" as he was trying to make her aware she was running into him. She then refuses to let my boyfriend make a purchase ( but let me buy something seconds before). This was the most disrespect I've ever seen in any store. This gas station, although in a good location is a poor choice when you're in Grover beach. They don't have diesel fuel, the gas pumps out very slowly because they don't change the filters or maintain their equipment. The bathroom is permanently closed.
