Really pricey and the cheesecake is rich but far too rich at almost $10 per slice. Very bougie spot and the service was alright. Reminds me of Genova Bakery in Stockton CA but not as home feeling

Yup... still love this place for their cookies and frittata. The deli counter can be a little slow at times, but overall, a great place to find some goodies for the road.

Friendly welcoming staff, nearly any of the snacks and drinks and treats you could be looking for, and the deli is simply phenomenal. The chocolate cake really is that good and the sandwiches always hit the spot. I do wish they would bring back the same vegeterian mozzarella sando that they had in the early 2000s. Oh, and the cheesecake varieties keep growing and they are all divine!

a "half sandwich" with about a tablespoon of tuna salad. Not even enough to spread over the piece of bread.

Charming shop, very pleasant people, but the "half-sandwich" I bought was terrible. For $7.99 there was at most one tablespoon of tuna salad, a couple slices of tomato and a bit of lettuce. Could be the worst sandwich I ever had. Very disappointing as I wanted to love this place.

Cutie little store/sandwich shop with all your Italian goodies plus lots of vino. Service was super friendly. We came here after hiking & wanted a deli sandwich & came across this place on Yelp. Hubby loves anything Italian & thought the sandwich was legit. I give it a 4/5 only bc I thought it was too thick for my liking & was hard to eat as it kept falling apart. There were too many layers of meat & made it taste a bit salty. Other than that, it wasn't bad. I would give this place another try in the future if I'm in the area

Checked this place out When we were in the area, just wanted something simple for lunch so we decided to try the sandwiches. We got the sandwich trio and the Italian sandwich. Both were very generous portions of tasty ingredients . Would definitely get sandwiches again They also have a variety of prepared food that looked good and they offered to heat it up for the patrons who got lasagna etc There is also a large grocery section with specialty items - especially local items like brittle, chocolates and coffee. A case of baked goods provided to be my downfall - we got two Cookies and a scone and they were all delicious Also came home with a variety of Chocolate bars and lots of other goodies Would definitely visit again. There were a few tables outside that you could eat at but I just took everything back to our hotel

The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and both our waiter and the rest of the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. As soon as they noticed we had a child with us, our waiter immediately offered to set up a high chair, which was a thoughtful touch and made us feel well taken care of. When it came time to order drinks, I mentioned I was craving sweet tea. Although it wasn't on the menu, our waiter happily offered to make it for me. That level of hospitality truly stood out and made the experience even more enjoyable. My husband was in the mood for Italian food, while I wasn't initially craving it. However, after such excellent service, I decided to give the menu a closer look, and I'm so glad I did! The clam chowder was absolutely delicious without a doubt one of the best I've ever had. It's a must try! Overall, the food was excellent, the service was outstanding, and the staff remained attentive throughout our meal. We had a wonderful experience and will definitely be returning. Highly recommend! (5/5)

But at a recent dinner before a show at the nearby Clark Center on a Thursday evening, my wife and I were reminded "price isn't everything". We started with an order of garlic bread ($8) with 6 good sized pieces. To go with the meal, our large glasses of 805 Draft ($8) arrived in the nick of time. We each got the same entree - Eggplant Parmigiana ($20)....my wife's with a side of vegetables and mine with pasta and marinara sauce. Lots of food for $20, but one reason was the amount of cheese. It dwarfed the eggplant. Overall, my dish was filling since I like cheese and eggplant...though my wife thought her eggplant got lost in everything else. Service was fine and about what you'd find in a neighborhood Italian place. And it's tough to beat the price. However, about 90 minutes later during intermission at the show, we looked at each other in disbelief and asked "are you thirsty?" Our dishes must have been slathered in salt. They really didn't need it. That's one way to spice up an evening.

I walked right in and sat at the bar, there are about six large high backed booths and a few tables scattered in between. The menu is very simple; sandwiches hot or cold, salads and pizzas, and slices. The bar looks pretty friendly, I wouldn't call it a neighborhood dive but certainly a great "date" spot. Looks like a well stocked deli case with stuff and a few shelves with other goodies for eating. I ordered the Hot Italian Chop Sando $16, basically a heaping of the Italian chop salad on toasted bread. It was good, could do with more of the italian meats dressing flavor was good. I had to check out the deli case to find my desert, looking real pretty was a genuine carrot cake. Three thinish layers with butter cream frosting which was not overpowering sweet. $10 okay that makes the cake worth about $100, meaning it was a thin slice. Both were really just enough, portion control is a new behavior for me... I'll be back for some pizza, maybe bring a date too. Always top quality in their products created and served in their locations, I've never been unhappy. Thanks, Foodguy-martin

Rarely do I walk away from a dining experience where the quality of service and quality of food fight to outshine one another, but this was one of those spots. Our server, a German gentleman, was the consummate professional- always friendly, never overstepping, and added such a warm dimension to our meal. The fried green tomatoes and the white beet appetizers were standouts. I especially loved the vinegary dressing on the greens of the beet dish. For mains, we got the leek olive potato pizza, the ribeye, and the wood fire poached halibut. The avocado chimichurri that accompanied the ribeye was the perfect balance, and the sautéed greens under the fish were savory with the right amount of bite. I also liked their selection of mocktails; the pink pony club was a particular standout. All this for $200 was a better price tag than I was expecting, but most importantly, it got the stamp of approval from my notoriously picky grandmother and uncle. This spot is worth the drive.

She brought us fresh hot corn and flour tortillas with a small cup of brown sugar butter and three different salsas to try. Everything was delicious. We ordered the surf and turf special which was a jumbo shrimp on top of a filet mignon that rested on mash potatoes and a creamy/savory white sauce. We also ordered the lobster Mac and cheese.
