The chips are made there and they are are thicker and crunchier. I thought they were okay but some folks loved them. Where they nail it is the tortillas. House made there and they are out of this world. More texture and taste than store bought. Loved them. I liked the big assortment of refried beans in cans or packages. We tried the El Salvadorian red beans and I really enjoyed them. Good change of pace. Everyone is friendly and helpful. I bought a bean and cheese burrito on the way out in the food service area. Even worse, when he asked to just buy ONE bottle instead at the regular price, they refused to sell it to him at all. This is completely unreasonable and feels like false advertising. No customer, especially a young one, should be embarrassed or denied service over something so simple. If ARCO is going to promote deals, they need to honor them and train their employees to treat customers with respect. Until this is addressed, I will be rethinking where I give my business, and I encourage others to be cautious about shopping here.
