I received a letter from this "law firm" in April 2018 saying they could save me money by appealing…read moremy real estate assessment and that the fee would be 50% of the savings in the first year. I contacted them to begin the process and was told I needed to get an appraisal done (at a cost of $425) which I agreed to. I then paid $25 for the appeal process for a lawyer to file the paperwork. In November 2018, I received a letter from the Chester County Board of Appeals that my appeal had been dismissed because of a "failure to appear" which the lawyer was supposed to do on my behalf. After calling ACCL multiple times, I was told to contact the lawyer they subcontracted this out to and he couldn't give a valid reason for the letter repeatedly saying he was there. About 6 months later, ACCL finally told me that he showed up late and they would file a claim and it could take up to 5 YEARS! I received another letter from them in April 2019 and when I spoke to them they agreed to process the appeal again in 2019. This time I received a letter from the Chester County Board of Appeals in November 2019 saying that "As a result of your decision to withdraw the appeal...your appeal has been dismissed". Shockingly, I never wanted my appeal to be withdrawn. So I spoke to the same lady at ACCL and she told me she wanted to withdraw the claim from 2018, not 2019, and that she would work to correct it and get back to me. Not surprisingly, I never heard back from them. I tried to call the office again today and was told she would have to get someone to call me back because she was "working on a project and couldn't get into her computer to look it up". WHAT?!? Besides answering the phone on speakerphone and being totally unprofessional, I couldn't believe it. There are some good reviews for this company, but definitely not one I can recommend.

Christi gave me some files, but did not offer to help, or explain the process to me...I was shocked at her lack of concern, compassion, or willingness to walk me through an audit...time which I'd have expected to pay for. I was so shocked I took my 2017 taxes to the person who did support me through the process. For the 2016 tax year I did buy her "audit insurance" which is supposedly a guarantee of support during an audit. But Christi is NOT standing by the audit insurance because I was not a client last year...."that makes no business sense...so I will not help you." In other words - the guarantee means absolutely nothing. But to be honest, after her tone/message around 2015's audit, I expected as much. So if she doesn't help when you are a client, and won't stand by her audit insurance, then I don't really know why anyone would want to have her as a tax accountant. I'm deeply disappointed. It's all about revenue, less about client service.

If I could give zero stars I would. I used this company from 2018-2025 for my small business. I…read moreassumed a company of CPAs would know how to do taxes, however I was incorrect. I questioned them for years on the inventory issues and finally fired them a year ago when they suggested I use someone else's sales tax ID to order wholesale items for my business. I had an independent accountant review my taxes and it turns out that they had in fact counted my inventory correctly every year and in 2021 alone I am due an amended return of $22,000 minus a $12,000 disallowance from the IRS. We still have to do 2022-2023 amended returns. This company has put me at risk of having to file for personal and professional bankruptcy and losing my health insurance as a disabled person. I cannot express how horrifying this experience has been and how they have screwed up my life and finances for the foreseeable future. Avoid at all costs If you are a current small business client with inventory products AND material components, get a second opinion, because they may have screwed you over too.

I paid them a large amount of money for a specific tax request just to be told that my payment dud not include the service I requested. That was infuriating.
