The owner is by far the most rude person I've ever encountered. Insisted my friend and I were using fake ID's despite us having completely real IDs with proof. Additionally, the products are all FAKE. Bought an airbar that didn't work at all and was told they don't do returns or exchanges and had to argue just to get an exchange that I didn't want, I just wanted a refund for the faulty product. Other airbars only lasted 2 or 3 days when they would normally last me a week and half at LEAST. While their products may be slightly cheaper than other places it is solely because they are getting fake and faulty products and essentially robbing their customers. Texas tobacco is right down the road from Amsterdam, go there instead for products that's actually work. read more

I walked into the shop and the store was not orderly kept , the service was terrible . I would not ever recommend coming to this smoke shop for your needs , their overpriced and not even worth it. Walked in to "the smoke shop" at around 10pm and the employee working looked surprised when he heard the bell go off on the door he didn't say anything I asked for a coil for my vape and he began to wring me up as he's doing this I look over behind the counter and see a lighter and a half burnt meth pipe he saw me looking at it and smacked it off the counter and said "you didn't see anything" at that point I just wanted to leave I felt like a hostage like he could blow at any second so I gave him a 5 dollar bill and left I will never go this sketchy shack again. read more

The kratom sold by Amsterdam Smoke Shop is absolutely terrible and a tremendous ripoff! $50 dollars will buy you 60 grams of disgustingly bitter kratom powder sold in a fucking ziplock bag! Obviously not sourced from a reputable vendor, that much is self evident. Literally the worst kratom iv ever taken, it doesn't relieve pain well and it has seriously bizarre effects on the brain and body. It gave me brain fog and totally lacked the euphoria, mood boost, and nootropic effects of quality kratom. Also it gave me strange physical sensations like mild shooting electric shocks while walking, and a strange fatigue. If you've ever taken SSRIs and then stopped cold turkey, it felt very similar to the withdrawal symptoms. Theres something wrong with the stuff theyre selling, never had such terrible kratom. And on top of that, the price is totally outrageous highway robbery for a product that makes you feel like shit. I can get 250 grams online for 30 bucks, compared to 50 bucks for 60 grams. What a ripoff. If the business owner is reading this right now, please do kratom customers a favor and switch your supplier to a reputable, quality kratom vendor. I cant imagine this is the first negative experience someone has had buying from y'all. read more
