This station is simple and does the job. Trains come and get you…read more I highly suggest you get there at least 30 minutes before your train arrives. You will have to walk up two flights of stairs or take an elevator to get to the train tracks. From there you will take a different set of stairs or elevator to get you to the track. But, if you follow the guidelines on when to arrive, you should have no problem and should be on time. One thing about this station is that there is not a real good area to protect you from the elements. There is one enclosed area that has 2-3 heating elements but, the entrance and exit to the area is open so if it is windy it will not protect you from that. There is minimal seating available. It just is not a bells and whistle type of station. But, it does what it needs to do. It is fairly clean, and there is enough parking available. It is easy to get to and a great station for those around who want to avoid taking their car into Philly to catch a train.

My boyfriend and I miss our train because we didn't know that the number will be different than the ticket that we bought. We ended up having to take septa down to 30th St. and paying additional cost. Get your act together, Philly.

Technical info: -…read moreDaylesford is part of the "Paoli/Thorndale Line" (formerly the R5, prior to 2010). - Located in Zone 3, for ticket price calculation. - Daylesford is a quirky station. It is small and lightly-traveled compared to its neighboring stops. - Unlike most SEPTA stations, you are much more likely to find an available parking space at the Daylesford station. (They are not a stop for Express trains.) - There is a shelter but no office here. You have to buy tickets on the train, or at another station. - This line connects at 30th Street Station, to access Amtrak, and other regional rail lines. It also stops at other center city stations, to connect with regional rail and subway lines. This line does not go directly to the airport. You are better off getting a taxi or private car for the time it would take to make connections for the airport. Practical Info: - This station is surrounded by residential zoning, so if you are trying to get to a business, pick another stop. - This station is easy to miss driving down 30, unless you know where you're going. Cars move more quickly on this stretch of 30 because it's residential and there is no business in-and-out traffic to slow things down, nor any lookie-loo at stores or anything. Also, lights are spread out a lot more on this stretch which makes people speed. - Check online maps programs for landmarks, so you don't pass it.

I literally just hand them the itinerary -- multiple stops, tight timelines, lots of moving parts -- and they execute flawlessly. Clean buses, professional service, punctual pickups, and zero stress on my end. That level of reliability matters when you're hosting dozens of investors and running a live, boots-on-the-ground experience. Special shoutout to Alex, our driver -- formerly with SEPTA -- absolute pro. Smooth driving, great attitude, knows the city inside and out, and always makes sure everyone feels taken care of. He's become our go-to. If you're running events, tours, or corporate transportation and need a team that just handles it, this is your company. Highly recommended.

It was quick and easy enough, but I'm just impatient. Well that opened the door to some very personalized service. Every detail of my trip was confirmed. Cost and billing with amounts and timing detailed since we also booked the return trip. For each leg of the trip. I got a 24 hour advance reminder with details of time and location. A text upon arrival at our home 15 minutes early erased any uneasiness about being late. Both drivers were so professional. I forgot the name of the first one, but George picked us up and was a gem. As soon as the plane landed I got a text that George from Kevin Smith was there to take us home. Followed by a picture of him holding a sign with my name. And just like that he was there as we arrived at the luggage carousel. Luggage was quickly retrieved and he led us to the lovely new Lincoln. One of the most comfortable cars with the smoothest ride. Vacations are so much better when there are no worries about getting to the airport and home again. Especially with this group. Everything, clean, polished and top notch.
