You will have to walk up two flights of stairs or take an elevator to get to the train tracks. From there you will take a different set of stairs or elevator to get you to the track. But, if you follow the guidelines on when to arrive, you should have no problem and should be on time. One thing about this station is that there is not a real good area to protect you from the elements. There is one enclosed area that has 2-3 heating elements but, the entrance and exit to the area is open so if it is windy it will not protect you from that. There is minimal seating available. It just is not a bells and whistle type of station. But, it does what it needs to do. It is fairly clean, and there is enough parking available. It is easy to get to and a great station for those around who want to avoid taking their car into Philly to catch a train.

Honestly I don't fault the station workers at all. They're doing the best they can. Amtrak and SEPTA need more funding. This place is basic. There's literally only one platform but I notice a lot of first time riders getting confused, maybe because it's Amtrak and SEPTA combined? I would suggest adding more signage.

There is an underground tunnel connecting the two sides of the station. - Parking is $1/day, MUST have coins for machine. - This line connects at 30th Street Station, to access Amtrak, and other regional rail lines. It also stops at other center city stations, to connect with regional rail and subway lines. - FOR VISITORS: This line does not go directly to the airport. You are better off getting a taxi or private car for the time it would take to make connections for the airport.
