If you turn a sharp right and a sharp right again while heading south on highway 61 there is a drop down and the vintage 19th century buildings with many active shops and surprises. Most of the old section ends at the train depot. This area could be improved and made into an attraction someday as it is just sitting there. There is a Riverwalk with an entertainment schedule and plenty of room to picnic or just play in the park along the river. Walking through town there is now only antique store a few restaurants and a coffee shop, vintage clothes and a bridal shop, and the usual insurance office further down. I found the old movie theater which appears to be in use as a community stage. There is a small popcorn shop hidden away. *Interesting the cities finest (yes police) past by me twice. Do they know right away if a stranger is in town? Just saying.

This man is the worst driver I have had the displeasure of being passenger in. The entire time he…read morewas driving this bus he was swerving, hard stoping, speeding, etc.. One example is he was speeding going 56mph on a 35mph road. Running a red light aswell. The turns was also horrible. Everyone was moving on the when he turned and when he swerved. I was not the only one worried for our safety on this bus, lots of people were fearful and angry about this driving! It could be dramatized since we were in the back but people in the front also had some problems with it which is why it's 2 stars instead of the 1 star I wanted to give.

I hired Student Transit for shuttling my wedding guests to/from our hotel to venue. Setting up the…read moreshuttle was simple and the guest service gentleman was very friendly. The driver picked up my wedding guests from the hotel on time and dropped them safely at the venue. The bus then arrived at 10pm and 11pm at the venue to bring guests back to the hotel. Unfortunately, the bride & groom didn't make it on the 11pm bus (we had a friend drive us to the hotel instead because we were SO exhausted haha). So we never personally got to meet our driver, but our guests had a super fun time on the bus. They somehow persuaded the driver to bring them bar hopping in downtown Riverfalls!!! So with that being said, thank you Student Transit for enhancing my wedding guests weekend and keeping them safe!

I have never been so taken back by horrible service in my life…read more We called for a cab since it was about a 12 block walk back to the train station and it was pouring. The dispatch said it would be 15 minutes. 45 minutes later....no taxi, I called back and the dispatch begged that we wait seven more minutes and they will be there. 20 minutes passed....no taxi. I called back and asked for the supervisor/manager and the dispatch started yelling at me in what I assume was spanish and then hung up. I called back three times asking if I could speak with someone else, and she hung up on all occasions. The last call she said, "I busy, no time for you," and hung up. I was even more upset because we were stuck at a crappy restaurant and I was roaming, so those calls were costing me an arm and a leg.
