My body was ruined, and I have so much regret. I initially left a positive review because I didn't want them to reach out to me, but I felt it was time I was actually honest. If my words can prevent even one woman from the mental anguish this has brought me then it would be a disservice to remain silent. I had an augmentation with Dr. Bandy a couple years ago and just recently explanted with a different surgeon. I initially chose her because she was the only female surgeon in my area (I did not want a male surgeon) who would give me silicone implants before the required legal age of 22. It was so important to me to look natural and proportionate. I brought in reference photos, and was adamant on 400ccs, yet somehow was convinced to get 700ccs. Nearly double what I wanted. Mind you, I am only 5'3 and 115lbs. I was very unaware that the bra used to try on sizes would make the implants appear smaller, which led to naïvely trusting in the consultant to go bigger. I was then told I needed to size up even further because they would be under the muscle. I was not accurately informed of how the outcome would look and how awful the recovery process would be. There was an all around lack of professionalism, we even had to pay the anesthesiologist under the table. I regretted it immediately and have hated my body for the last two years. I reached out shortly after expressing my regrets and dissatisfaction with the size, but was told I just had temporary buyers remorse and would be fine. I opted not to inform them of my continued dissatisfaction in order to be left alone. I was not fine. I have felt absolutely mutilated and disgusted by my outcome and have been grieving the loss of my natural body ever since. There aren't even words to express the mental anguish that this has brought me. She had to use spacers in order to fit the giant implants into my small frame, which caused significant trauma to my body. Again, the severity of the entire procedure was glossed over and I was reassured by Dr. Bandy and her consultant. But just before the procedure, she said something along the lines of "I don't know if I can fit these in you, but I'll try". I felt the most excruciating pain of my entire life for weeks. One implant bottomed out in less than a year and I had severe animation deformity in both breasts. I also had significant lateral displacement and rippling. I couldn't stand the sight of my body naked or clothed. I felt hideous. I looked extremely disproportionate and suffered all kinds of pain from the 3lb implants. I began to develop breast implant illness within just months of the procedure, which persisted and worsened over time. The only praise I can give is that my scarring was barely detectable. I also had a nipple (not areola) reduction, which she did a good job on. I was finally able to afford an explant with another doctor recently. This surgeon was extremely professional and informative, walking me through every available option and assessing me thoroughly to ensure the best outcome. I decided to only have an explant and muscle repair because I did not want lift scars. She made sure that I was aware of the mental and physical recovery to come, and that I had a support system in place. Her and her team were incredibly caring and empathetic for what happened to me at this practice. By the grace of God, my skin has retracted and my breasts are very similar to what they were before the augmentation. I now bear the explant scars as a reminder that I never needed to permanently alter my beautiful body, especially not in such a brutal and traumatic way as this. If you are wanting a cosmetic procedure, especially a breast augmentation, please research deeply and consult with multiple surgeons. A good surgeon should tell you when something is going to be too traumatic for your body. They will suggest what is proportionate to you and will inform you on everything you need to know. A good surgeon will not upsell you and mutilate you for the sake of money. They will care about your well being and satisfaction. Please, please be diligent in research. read more

I went to Dr Bandy's office on July 30 2025 for a 10:30 am appointment My daughter and I came to see Dr Bandy for a consultation regarding a rhinoplasty. Upon arriving they attended us and mentioned that Dr Bandy was in surgery and would run a little late. The receptionist had us file paperwork in the meanwhile and asked for insurance. I initially thought they had asked for it to see who my daughter's primary doctor is, any medical history, etc. The receptionist who attended us mentioned that we had to pay for the surgery (which we had already assumed since insurance does not cover any plastic surgery). She then kept repeating the same thing about the insurance and how they worked with a company that offered payment plans, while making us file more paperwork for about an hour. Once Dr Bandy arrived she greeted us asked what my daughter was looking for, then said something along the lines of how she's not trying to send us elsewhere, but we should ask our insurance which places would cover the work she wanted to get done. I am not sure if this is what she says to all her clients, or if our ethnicity was a factor to that statement. The cherry on top was when she went to go make the mock up pictures, but never came back and sent them with her assistant instead. I feel like the lack of courtesy towards potential clients was disappointing and frustrating. The cost was relatively low but I can see why they price it the way they do. I would not trust this place to fix any potential issues that could occur while preforming the surgery or after (in the case that it gets botched). The reason it took me this long to write the review was due to a trip I went on not too long after this appointment. Very disappointing establishment. read more

I had a breast augmentation and lift done here back in 2021. I was not happy with my procedure from day one. I asked for a D cup and ended up with a 34F. I asked in person and called a few times about the size and was told not worry that that will go down in size. They didn't and were saggy from day one. You don't spend this kind of money to still have to wear a bra and have saggy breasts. She is not cheap. The reason I'm writing this review so late is because I just got a consultation to have my breast redone else where and they told me that there was many corrections that will need to be made. That the type of incision for the weight of the implant wasn't correct and that's why they are now even more saggy, among other things. I do not recommend this business. read more

This is not an honest business. I made an appointment for urgent matter. After waiting for surgeon, I received a call 30 min before my appointment where she canceled. Since it was urgent I found someone else to help me. Next morning I let them know that I wasn't keeping the 2nd appointment, I gave them as much notice as I could which was 8 hours. They still charged me $75 because it was less than 24 hrs. When they canceled 30 minutes before and I didn't receive their payment and they now they stole my $75. This is not honest business, how are they not taking any responsibility for canceling on me, but still charge me. I have experienced weight gain and weight loss and pregnancy and breastfeeding and weight gain and weight loss, and needless to say my breasts were deflated. Even though I was still a D cup they were not happy or perky, so I decided I wanted to invest in a pick me up so to speak. I wanted to refill what I already had, and I didn't want a ton of scarring from an anchor breast lift. Trying to find a doctor who would listen to what I wanted and not just say no this is what I want to do, or no you can't do that, this is the only way. Dr. Bandy and her staff listened to what I wanted. She of course was realistic with me and told me honest answers like this may not be possible or if you do that, you won't get this result, or this is the likely outcome, and of course she followed with a why/explanation. I personally loved that! Because at least I felt heard. I felt like my wants and desires were important. I didn't feel like I was at a fast food restaurant. She didn't make me feel bad for wanting saline so I could get the size I wanted/needed. Other doctors down talked saline and tried to say only the more expensive silicone were any good. Other doctors made me feel like my wants didn't matter because it didn't fit into their mold of what they wanted to do. Dr. Bandy was always supportive of my desired look and helping me achieve it. Her staff was always amazing! They were all Super friendly and very knowledgeable, and always happy to answer my questions, and never treated me like a burden. (Where other facilities made me feel like I was an inconvenience to them) Dr. Bandy and her staff were amazing! My surgery went great, my recovery went great, and I and my Husband are completely satisfied and happy with my results. I am not finished with my journey yet, I hope for more kids, and to lose more weight, so when I am done I will definitely be visiting Dr. Bandy and her staff again for a tummy tuck, and maybe a little more in the breasts. After a terribly upsetting consultation with a Beverly Hills Instagram-focused doctor, I decided to continue researching plastic surgeons outside of LA and I am so glad I did. When I called Dr. Bandy's office, her front desk staff was very warm and friendly, so I decided to proceed with booking a consultation. When I met with Dr. Bandy, she was extremely thorough, listened to my concerns and presented me options that were specific to my needs. I did not feel rushed at all and she put me at ease after a very traumatic consultation with another surgeon that had left me in tears. I needed to replace my old (10+ years) implants and do a small lift. I was in pain from my old implants and they were very heavy which had gotten quite uncomfortable. My focus was first to stop the pain and second to not have a bunch of scarring. Dr. Bandy suggested a lollipop lift which I hadn't heard of and was never suggested by the other surgeon. In May 2021, I went ahead with the surgery and couldn't be happier with my results and my experience with Dr. Bandy and her team. From start to finish, they were amazing, responsive and always happy to help in any way they could. I am no longer in pain and my scars are very minimal. Dr. Amy Bandy ruined me. Going to a woman I thought I would not experience such hurt. I will write a full review later but she is untrustworthy, and dismissive. Lied on my medical records, tried to have me sign a hold harness agreement for a mistake on her end (I always wondered why), charged me without notifying me, and even posted my photos on social media I had no idea (please ask questions and be thorough when singing paperwork), etc. When I reached out to get help with the issues I am having and extreme pain (as you rightfully should with the surgeon who did the work), she wouldn't even speak to me and her office staff was so rude and told me she was booked months in advance to even speak to her. Then when I continued to follow up I was told she said go to another doctor for advice because she was "too busy" and couldn't help. The surgeon I went to and trusted! If you make a mistake or a patient is having issues, a true loving person would want to make sure they are ok and be available to answer questions. A friend of mine called and was able to schedule a consult (just to see if they would give the busy excuse) that same week. Please I urge you to do your research. Not just the positive reviews. See how she handles patients and one I saw in the news died from her "care". Physicians are humans and I understand that mistakes may happen on occasion but it's how you handle the mistakes and how you treat people is what truly matters. Also keep in mind that she tells you it takes about a year to heal from your surgery that's because that is the statute of limitation's to sue. I will write a further review... I just had to come on here quickly once I recently found out some of my health issues due to my implants after imaging. I didn't want to write this but the more I spoke with others confused about my treatment (wondering what I did wrong) I put all the pieces together. Before my wife decided to go with Dr Bandy last May 2021..I did a crazy amount of research on plastic surgeons and still had a ton of questions. I narrowed it down to about 3.. and finally decided to have my wife go with Dr. Bandy. Once off the phone, I started crying..crying because I was so worried something happened to my wife because Amiee called. Sorry I keep trailing off subject..so I dropped off my wife at 8am and she was done at 3pm. When I went to go pick up my wife..I see my wife super swollen..I did my best to keep it together. To keep myself cool.. I started asking all the questions I could think of, for caring for my wife. After the first night of rest for my wife..I already start seeing a difference.. the swelling went down a bit..I actually took a peek at her boobs.. THEY'RE HUGE! Not porn huge, but professionally tasteful huge. And her curves..oh my, I'm already seeing how shell look like once the swelling is fully gone. I went in to see Dr. Bandy to look into tummy tuck and lipo. I couldn't be happier with the results. I had a hanging post c section scar from 2 of my kids and I hated it. I'm post op 4 months.
