After going through stage two breast cancer in 2005 and then again in 2013, I had turned to implants. I noticed that even though my implants were behind the muscle wall, they were beginning to droop on one side where I could actually pinch skin to skin.. I made an appointment with Dr. Dubrow's office.. Within a few weeks, I was able to get an appointment and go in to have my implants removed. Currently with the implants I was a G. Due to having an lumpectomy, I was under the impression that I did not have much of my own breast tissue left and this is why the doctor recommended implants to begin with. But at this point I had had my implants replaced multiple times and continued to have trouble. When I spoke to Dr. Dubrow and his amazing assistant Jackie and explained the trouble that I was having and that I wanted the implants removed. Unfortunately, my husband was not able to attend the consultation due to how fast I was able to get my consultation so we did it over FaceTime. My husband was still hoping for a larger outcome. My expectations were anything healthy. Even if that included a size A cup. After surgery, Jackie had shared my postop surgery report with me. As I expected the chemo and radiation had damaged the tissue in my right breast to the point he had to remove a lot of tissue in order to lift my breasts evenly. Coming out of surgery with the scarring and the stitches , the swelling and everything. I definitely was completely flat chested. But as the days went on, my breast started forming and dropping just as they said they would. I am currently five months postop into my surprise. I am a 34D. Needless to say my husband is extremely happy and so am I. This has been such a wonderful experience and it is all due to a doctor's office. That truly knows what they're doing. I had to wait 2 1/2 hours in his waiting room while watching many other people coming in and out to see him, and he was taking photographs and posing with a bunch of people. I felt extremely humiliated. Then, when I finally saw him, he was very rushed and brusk with me and then told me his assistant would give me the final estimate of cost. I was then told by his assistant that she would have to get back with me, and I had to wait 2 weeks to get the outrageous result of $22,000 for an eye job. Besides being very expensive I had so many out of pocket expenses for blood work, cardiologist, etc. and then because he didn't put drains in my chest after removing old implants and talking me into having a breast lift instead of new implants I had to go have an ultra sound and have fluid removed from my breast. 80cc's. that cost me over $2,000. out of pocket. Removing the fluid made my breast almost flat. He offered to go back in and fix the issue and put implants in, but it would cost me almost as much as the original surgery, which was what I would pay for a new car................ I just wouldn't feel comfortable using him again, so I have found a new surgeon who is very understanding of my situation and gave me a huge discount for all the anguish I have been through. I did a consultation for a tummy tuck back in August with Dr. Dubrow. He was super friendly, down to earth and honest. He didn't rush the visit whatsoever and he made sure to address any and all of my concerns and still asked if I had any questions at the end. I later met with Kim which is the surgery coordinator. She definitely wasn't friendly or inviting but she gave me a quote that was good for 6 months. I decided to move forward with Dubrow and booked my surgery for Feb of this year. My pre op which was a month before surgery was again with Dubrow to discuss and explain the procedure and make sure I had no questions. Again, making me feel right at home. I absolutely loved him and his personality. When it came time for surgery, my nurse who got me ready was amazing. Surgery went well and I was amazed at how well I felt after and no bruising. I had a 24 hour nurse with me the first night ( Natalie) she was amazing and I'm thankful that she was there. I stayed locally for the first two weeks for all my appointments and I just can't say it enough how much I appreciate the staff there. Jackie the nurse is super upbeat, professional and just a good vibe. She's taken amazing care of me for all my post op appointments. I really don't have anything bad to say about the experience. Within a few weeks, the Volumagen dried my skin, made it red, and discolored my upper and lower lip. Before using these products, I had such wonderful skin and never had hair growth on my hair or my arms. The hair that grew on my head was like baby hair that just sticks straight up in the air. Not only are both of these products the worst out of everything that I ever used, but the emotional pain, embarrassment, and depression it has caused me is beyond belief. Found Chana Moore by pure accident and am convinced it's fate! I came in for my usual Botox treatment for one VERY pesky vertical line in-between my eyes. I mean, this line is so deep, it collects dust. I've had other doctors try and up-sell me on filler at TRIPLE THE COST - Chana said that Botox should do the trick - and it did! Huge points for honesty and not trying to make a quick buck. Not only did Chana provide the BEST Botox treatment (natural and efficient!), she took her time to answer my questions about other procedures I was interested in. I read all reviews & the number of patients with bad surgery experiences was scary. Still, I wanted a consultation for something, and fillers after. The office got great reviews for fillers. FYI, consults now $365 & and charged when appt is made. Traffic heavy & got lost coming from BH, so was an hour late. Arrived at almost my filler time & the receptionist was very friendly & professional. I figured I'd lose the entire consult fee w/o seeing him, based on reviews about how he is with money. I was told I'd get a "short consultation" & considering how late I was, I thought this very fair. But, Dr Dubrow wasn't very present in my "short consult". He suggested different options, including one that was shockingly BAD. He was pretty unfocused when he gave it though. Still.... scary BAD suggestion. It would have given awful results & was quite startling hearing him even bring it up. That and his lack of focus, built a strong distrust. I found him nothing like on the show, he seemed emotionally "removed", in a strange way. Next I was brought into a room (I was waiting my fillers) & met with a dark hired woman. She introduced herself, pulled out an appt book & abruptly asked "when do you want to book surgery?" I was curious & asked "how much will it cost?". She acted insulted "don't you want the surgery?". Me "how much will it cost?" AGAIN she shammed me in a condescending tone! Was this really happening? It was almost laughable. I remained calm & nice, to see if it would change her demeanor. Do you think it's her decision, whether to refund patients or not? Money-grubbing is real in this office. However, it ended well, the woman who did the fillers did a remarkable job!!! I wholeheartedly recommend her. She used Voluma, which I'd never had. Dr Dubrow said, "his office doesn't use Radiesse" in a tone like it was beneath them. Many Drs have preference of fillers. I hoped I'd like Voluma much more, but I couldn't find any difference in how they worked for me. The person giving them (Chong), made a huge difference. Horrible bedside manner scar revision scar stretched 4 inches doesn't care about patients

"A fool and his money are soon parted" These are this man's ethics and those of his Physician Assistant, Jacqueline Brambila, MS, PA-C. I was recommended to Dr. Terry Dubrow from a family friend of his partner, "Botched TV show" Dr. Paul Nassif. A Family member stated they had met the Drs. and felt they were down to earth, ethical, and not out for "an easy extra few thousands of dollars." I had consulted 2 other Plastic Surgeons after having a Botched Mastoplexy, with replacement of a ruptured breast implant. After initial surgery, I looked hideous. I had a nipple going sideways, misshapen both breasts and what felt like bubble wrap under my skin. Initial Surgeon kept telling me things would calm down and "if necessary a 2nd surgery." I sought advice from a female Plastic Surgeon in my hometown who stated: 1-no Mastoplexy had been performed 2- there was significant asymmetry of both breasts 3- the nipple was definitely wrong. She suggested I contact Original surgeon to give me 1/2 my money back, as having him do 2nd Surgery would probably not end in better results. I happened to be visiting the Orange County area, and with my families encouragement decided to call Dr. Terry Dubrow's office. They were nice enough to squeeze me in for a consultation. My husband was with me. Dr. Terry Dubrow confirmed what Surgeon #2 had said. He asked me if I would be happy with 95% improvement -since 100% he never guarantees. My answer was, "of course." My husband asked Dr. Terry Dubrow, what % would you give this Original surgical procedure? His answer, "this is not even 30%, it is a fail in my book." We had not even considered a litigation situation at this time. We were shocked. As we left his office with brochure packet and cost of repairing my breasts, riding down the elevator as I was shared with my husband the additional $23,000 this was now going to cost us. He looked over and said we need to make you feel whole. This kind older lady leaned over and said, "That is my Son." It was at this point, we decided to go with what we felt was the best. (original Surgeon claimed he was the BEST in the East Bay Region). By now, friends and family recommended we seek legal counsel, if nothing else, but to have Surgeon #1 pay for Surgery #2. I saw Dr. Terry Dubrow 3 times- 1-Initial consult, 2-day of surgery and 3-1st post op visit. The rest of the year I was followed up with his Physician Assistant, Jacqueline Brambila who was always kind and attentive. Altho, when I questioned what was the material pouching out under the scar of right breast, she admitted it was part of the implant. She made no mention of discussing this with Dr. Terry Dubrow, or any recommendations to correct it. I decided to consult an attorney to pursue that Dr. B (who had performed the initial Surgery) would at least pay for this much needed "failed procedure, as stated by Dr.Terry Dubrow." When it came time for Dr. Terry Dubrow to sign a declaration attesting to his statement, he refused. My attorney paid him $1,500.00 for 15 minutes just to discuss this situation, his response was that he only deals with his own litigation team. We were shocked beyond belief at Dr. Terry Dubrow's response. I reached out to Dr. Terry Dubrow and his Physician Assistant, Jacqueline Brambila to try and understand how he could tell me and my husband what a botched job had been done to me, and yet not stand behind his statements. There was no explanation offered and no response whatsoever. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAMMER! He is only interested in the money he can scam from Women and their families who fall for his performance as a caring physician-NOT! I can't believe even after the recommendation from family friends of his TV partner, Dr. Paul Nassif, he would still give us this type of treatment. Accompanied my girlfriend there for her Botox. It all looked ok, but one week later her left eyelid drooped so bad that it was obvious that he went too close to her eyebrow/eye. She called and told them about it; they said yes, that's a droopy eye, and it's caused by her not staying still for five hours after the shots!!! Lies!. I went to Dr Dubrow after seeing his show "Botched" on TV. Usually I m not impressed by a TV doc but I had seen many results on his show thinking he would be the one to help me. I gave birth to my beautiful daughter but as most of you know, kids can alter your physique. Long story short, I had my silicone implants removed as per his advice by Dubrow after 20 years .... My breasts were fine before but I was consulted that I needed to have my implants removed after such a long time. Let me tell you that my friends, family and significant other all have said that I was better off before. I underwent surgery w Dubrow. He incorporated his "special Stich" on my areola,...after I healed, btw I had holes from the stitching that had puss up to date oozing out of stich scars. Not only that but my breast are deformed. I called his office only to be told that this is a side effect and that I needed to pay the full price of 25K to fix it. Steer clear of those hocus pocus TV docs. Botched doc will botch you. He and his staff have no compassion. They want to make their money and commission and could care less about the well being of their clients. I probably should Yelp this under Newport Heights Medical Center (the name of his practice), but since this one is actually claimed by Dr. Dubrow and his staff and the other isn't, I'll just leave my review here. Anyway, this this review is for Rayna, one of the two estheticians on staff. I've been going to her for at least a year now for facials and she has been amazing! The difference between these facials and the ones you get at regular spas and salons is that this focuses less on "feeling good" and more "getting down to business", if that makes sense. Her facials including dermaplaning, extractions and what I believe are chemical peels. She's also great to talk to. I'm guilty of being one of those introverts that clam up around stylists and whatnot and I typically don't make conversations but not with Rayna. I definitely have a great and funny conversation every time I come about all sorts of things, including pop culture and just life occurrences. In general, I've found the staff here to be very nice and accommodating. They also make it a practice to call you at least 24 hours prior to your appointment to confirm, which is nice considering I'm one of those people that tends to forget that I booked something a month ago. In addition, they really make an effort to squeeze you in even if it's super short notice, which I can definitely appreciate. So for anyone looking for a medical facial, check out Rayna! I LOVE LOVE LOVE Dr, Dubrow. He is a God of all things injectable. I have only had him do injectables (no real surgery) but the results are always amazing, natural and long lasting. My boyfriend is adamantly opposed to botox, thinking it will make me look plastic. Thus, I always need to sneak out to get it or anything else done. Needless to say, said BF never notices. Ha! Psych! Dr. Dubrow's prices, although recently raised, are remarkably fair. Less thank I've paid to a nurse practitioner. As a huge plus,he is always timely and pleasant. When I first met him he was warm, friendly and said he could do a good job on the lower face lift and eyelid surgery and that the revisions were free. Two years later I was still going into the office trying to get my second revision because the after the first revision there was no improvement. Kim said the doctor recommended another $15,000 lower face lift. I said I just had a facelift two years ago I'm not looking for another one I just want him to fix what is wrong with the first facelift. Frustrating I need to know the price range for a surgery but I can not get that without paying $365. Once I pay the $365 I can get the pricing for my surgery or see if I am even a good candidate. I need to know if he is out of my price range or I'd be wasting my time. Not a waste of time for his office though. $365 for MAYBE 15min conversation, not a waste of time at all. Today is my 3rd day post surgery, abdomnialoplasty. I truly can't believe how great I feel. I haven't taken any pain pills in 2 days because I have no pain. Abdomen is a little sore, more like a bruise. I am handling my personal care myself, and truly am elated with my lack of pain. It was several years ago that I went to see Terry Debrow. My breasts were not even in bad shape but I felt that I should do an exchange since I had had my implants in for 15 years. I told him I wanted to keep my breasts small but during surgery he decided that I needed a much larger size. He made me a full D which is not what I wanted but he said it looked better on the table. He went out and asked my ex-husband if that was OK and my ex-husband said yes. On my first postop he came in the room and he sat down and he said "so what brings you here today?" How RUDE and oblivious ! I said "I had surgery three days ago and I'm here for my follow up" (don't you remember me?) He said of course let's see how you're doing He took the bandages off with his assistant and I had Synmastia also known as Uniboob , the size was too big and pulled away from the sturnum. I looked down and I said " I have no cleavage" and he said " of course you do it'll go down, only an inexperienced doctor would give you Synmastia, It will be fine" but I clearly Had Synmastia. He left I was alone with his nurse. I said " I have Synmastia don't I ?" she nodded her head yes. Several follow ups later, he offered to fix it free. I went elsewhere. I wish I had photos but they've long since been erased. I paid him in cash by the way. This is 100% true. I visited Dr. Dubrow on the recommendation of a friend. I found his entire staff to be kind, courteous and helpful. In my consult with Dr. Dubrow himself I was blown away at how down to earth he was. He made me feel completely comfortable and his honesty was refreshing. He even used references like "if you were my wife here's what I would recommend"... The only reason I am not giving you a post op review at this point is that his pricing was much more than I can afford. $19,000 for a lower eyelid surgery just seemed too much. I am an avid watcher of his TV show and the RHOBH, so I was impressed with him. I made an appointment to see him for a consultation on a Friday and asked for the day off, so I could drive up to Newport Beach to see him. One day before the appointment and after asking for the day off, they inform me that the Dr will not be able to keep the appointment, at the time I could not reschedule since I knew I would have to take another "vacation" day. When I finally was able to call to reschedule, I was informed that the consultation would be $350! And would not go towards surgery, when I explained that I had an appointment before he was charging and they had cancelled on me, to see if they would honor that, basically it was like a "too bad, so sad!" Which I think really sucks since I lost a vacation day and didn't get the consult I was looking for, but after reading all these reviews, perhaps GOD intervened! My GF just had a consultation with him, she has major issues with past surgeries, he found him to be great in the consultation and very charismatic, which we can see on TV. I have been a patient of Dr Dubrow for a couple of years now. My first procedure was 25,000 and I paid for everything upfront. I have also made several trips to the spa. I returned for a second procedure in February 2017 (Upper bleph $6,000) unfortunately the 2nd procedure was not successful and provided zero results. After a visit with the doctor he informed me that a revision surgery would be needed and that it would be at no cost to me. However when I sat down with Kim she charged me a total of $1,050 for the surgery room and I had no choice but to pay for this in order to book my revision date. I paid Kim went home and composed an email to Vicky (office manager) on August 9th asking her to please confirm with the doctor as to whether or not I should be paying anything for the doctor to have a second try at providing me the results that I had paid for originally (I was thinking that maybe Kim had made a mistake). I finally get a call back from Vicky today and Kim was also in the room. As I began to go over my concerns with Vicky, Kim raised her voice and went on and on about how I had signed 2 pieces of paper acknowledging that additional cost are incurred in case of revision surgery for any and all procedures. Kim continued ranting and speaking to me in a very demeaning manner. She was incredibly unprofessional I could not get a word in edge wise. I was finally able to point out that I had also signed an agreement stating "Revision Policy: there may be fees associated with hospitals, facility, ect" finally Vicky interrupted and said that she would get back to me after speaking with the doctor. I am floored with the treatment that I received today. Being a business owner myself I totally understand and agree that a doctor's office would include a protective clause for his patients however this should not apply to a patient with zero results. I understand this clause being applied if a patient was not happy with the outcome or because the patient would like it to look a certain way or just simply being unrealistic. This is not the case for me because I had zero results ( B-4 and after picture clearly show this) and on top of everything else the doctor himself agrees and had no problem whatsoever moving forward with the revision. I would also like to add that I own multiple businesses and if I overheard an employee speaking to one of my customers with this level of disrespect I would certainly not tolerate it. read more

Dont Go To This Doctor !!! Please don't waste your money or ruin your body with Dr.dubrow. He's a 2 face doctor when you first meet him he's all nice but as soon as you're surgery is done he doesn't want to hear a word you have to say. In beginning his charming but at the end he's a jerk. I have a breast lift with Implants and a tummy tuck with Dr.dubrow the implants are so low that my breast don't have a shape, there painfull, and both breast have a whole in them he left a 1 inch and a half whole open, I have so much pain because of this he didn't even give me enough pain medicine. The next day after surgery he said I was going to have surgery again (he knew he did something wrong or els he wouldn't have said I was going to have surgery again) then he said I was fine and to come back tomorrow my breast were painfull and bleeding. When I went back the next day I told him that my breast were painfull and bleeding he told me I was fine but he left the Stiches in my stomach and breast. When I went back home I had so much pain I called his office to ask for pain medicine they told me their license didn't work in Nevada they told me that if my breast don't look good that I should go to a wound doctor. I went to the ER 3 times I felt hot and cold repeatedly and I had a headache the ER told me I had an affection my temperature was 108 at that time, I'm glad I made it. I can tell he took fat from my butt and put it in my thighs because one of my thighs are firm while the other one isn't and my butt isn't as big as it use to be. I didn't give him any permission to do surgery on any other body part other then my breast and stomach. I'm not happy with my surgery, I have to go to another surgeron to fix my breast lift and tummy tuck. I don't understand what he needs I payed him money for the surgery about 30,000. So his tv show must be fake who knows maybe he's not a real doctor that botched E show got me messed up. When I tried to contact him his office would just say he's not here, they tried to make it seem like he too busy to talk to me. I once heard him say in the background what does she need from us tell her to go visit a wound doctor she's done with me period I don't want to hear this anymore she's done with me. Wanted a consultation on a leaking implant and the other implant that is floating into my armpit. The OG surgery was done only one and a half years ago. I was informed of the $365 consultation fee up front that was nonrefundable. I can understand that as I am sure he is very busy. My initial breast lift and augmentation was $9700 I wanted a different doctor as my scars were horrible and I felt that I could possibly have a better outcome with a different surgeon. Dr. Dubrow was literally present in my consultation for five-ten minutes max & did not take time with me. He told me he could totally fix everything wonderfully. His assistant quickly comes in the room and tells him he has to get to his next patient--wow $365 for five- ten minutes??!! Next you are shuttled into what I would call the "closing"room. The moment I sat down the "Closer" abruptly asked me what date I want for my surgery. I told her I would first need to know how much it would cost. Thinking it was going to be about the same price or maybe $5k more than my OG surgery since he's a fixer...(and since since there was no lift now involved)....Holy shit we are talking $30,000. I almost laughed. Sure he's a celebrity doctor but that is just disgusting. The look on my face obviously said enough to the Closer. ...her condescending attitude switched on...she wasn't even going to push it further ... like she was seated across from a welfare recipient that had no business even being there. she just basically said "Well, have a nice day and here is my card." Ushered out the door quickly.. They got outta me, $365. I got a horrible 3-hour traffic ride and a business card attached to a "you don't belong here sweetie" handshake. His name should be Dr. Hollywood to go with his ego , not Talent! More interested in being on TV shows instead of surgery results. His work is awful! Stay away!!! I went in for a nose job to make my nose thinner and it came out wider! He kept telling me it was just swollen- it has been 3 years nothing has changed. I had Liposuction as well right before my wedding, and in every area he did, it is worse then before surgery, and still looks like I have fluid in there before they sucked it out not to mention all the ripples. When I asked him what can be done to fix things he just told me I was fat and insulted me. He didn't seem to care about the results or how unhappy I was or that I was disfigured and had to live with these bad results. I can't give him any stars knowing he never thought he did anything wrong and I am left to think of his mistake every time I look in the mirror.Not to mention I cannot wear a bathing suit or shorts. Dr. Dubrow assured me during the consultation that my arms would look wonderful-nice and taut. I am slender and tall. and do not know why my upper arms are wrinkled and flabby even though I lift weights. He did not why when I asked him just before the surgery. After the painful surgery,my arms were bandaged foe a month; so I was anxious for the outcome! my arms looked worse than before the surgery! when I brought it to his attention, he said, "Well I took off a football field of skin~" He said he'd give me another surgery or laser treatment-both very painful. If I had known what I know now I would have gone somewhere else. As they say hindsight is 20/20. I had several people and other plastics surgeons tell me his job is a disaster. He's full of himself. He doesn't care about making the patients happy or even if they look good. I'm tempted to go on Botched to make him fix his mistakes. It's mediocre work at best. As soon as they have the money it's over honey. Don't get me wrong he's a great sales man (like used car) and that's about it. It's too late for me to do anything about it now so I'm stuck with this ok tummy tuck and lipo job because I don't have the money to fix it. But I'm going I'll save someone else from this disaster. I also chose Dr. Terry Dubrow as my surgeon for a tummy tuck and breast reduction and had the same horrible experience as these other women have described. Over the past 3 years I have spent approx $30,000 in surgery and revision costs. To this day, I still have very bad scarring, uneven rippling and something that looks similar to a belly button. I can't wear certain clothing, especially anything tight or a bathing suit, as you can see the whole mess. I am going to another doctor for a consultation to hopefully fix what used to be a beautiful body. It's a good thing that I am strong mentally or I probably would have had a breakdown by now. This has been completely devastating to both me and my husband, and has been very difficult to accept. read more
