Henderson Yelpers, I am very happy with Dr. Falcone. First, she is such a positive energy. She is also a wealth of information when it comes to women's health. I see her for my annual Pap and now I am seeing her for perimenopause symptoms and hormone replacement. She is so attentive and doesn't miss a step. I had tried the hormone pellets and they were great just not sustainable realistically long term financially for me, because insurance doesn't cover it. $500 every 3 months is tough for me so I was looking for another option. She asked all the questions for me so that I did not have to know everything to say. She even had information preprinted and gave it to me so that someone my age knows what I need to be doing for myself and my health. I was given an option that would be more affordable and I left the office feeling empowered and hopeful that I will be feeling better soon. She encouraged me to follow up in 9 months. She said she would refill my prescriptions and the back office staff asked me to call to schedule my appointment for October in April when the that part of schedule will open up. The office is busy and there are multiple doctors working and seeing patients. The front office is running smoothly though. I felt like they were pleasant. They have a long lobby with several areas with chairs to sit. The nurse that brought me back, took my vitals, roomed me, and was very nice. I recommend this office and especially Dr. Falcone. She is top notch. Very professional, knowledgeable, and has an excellent bedside manner. I am grateful to have her as my doctor. I would call ahead to check if they are contracted with your insurance and make a an appointment. They are conveniently located in Henderson and they are in a medical complex with a lot of parking. I LOVE Dr Falcone!! I've been seeing her since 2021. My GYN MD had retired & I was so nervous in finding another exceptional GYN & a co-worker who has a 2nd job in L&D recommend Dr. Falcone as she has worked with her in delivering babies & had nothing but nice things to say about her & she was 100% right! Dr. Falcone doesn't deliver babies anymore & I only need her for GYN needs as I'm not looking to get pregnant. She always arrives in the exam room with a big smile, she's super friendly, knowledgeable, gentle, caring & doesn't make you feel rushed. She's a great listener to any concerns or questions I have. One time when I arrived for my yearly exam I was super stressed after getting some bad news from my job & she actually took the time to let me confide in her on what was going on. This was so appreciated & she didn't need to do this for me, thank you because it helped to talk about the issue with the 1st human I happened to come in contact with after getting the phone call from my boss. I did have an issue with a staff member while waiting to be seen last year. She didn't normally work the front desk but she had a horrible demeanor & wasn't very professional. I did find out today that she no longer works there & that the doctor's had replaced their staff due to having too many issues with them so if you have run into any issues with them please give the doctor's another chance. I even had an issue getting a hold of my MD's MA last year & scheduling an appointment earlier this year. It does make it hard for patient's when they love their doctor but not their staff & unfortunately unprofessional, uneducated & rude staff can affect their practice. I was glad to know that something has been done about it. I love how they have their own lab in house so I don't have far to go when I want blood work done with my yearly exam. The phlebotomist has always been really nice, professional, gentle & friendly. I don't usually have to wait long to be called back & review home meds & what I'm in the office for. I do find it odd that the only vitals that the MA takes is your weight & blood pressure. No heart rate, respirations, temp. or your height. I have run into having trouble in not being able in getting an appointment for a "problem" in a timely manner which can be frustrating if it's something that needs attention & may be gone by the time you do get an appointment. I like when doctor's leave some extra time in their day to fill these requests. This was my second time coming to this office for my annual and it was as pleasant as the first time. I was in and out in an hour. It was a Thursday since those are my days off. The nurse who did my initial intake was quick and reviewed my chart with me for any changes. I had PA. Gdovin, she was excellent!! She made sure to ask if I was okay if her student came in. Side note: she was also excellent! I hope she goes far in her future career. They both were had good bedside manners. I felt like they listened to my needs and made sure I was as comfortable as I could be while doing the exam. PA.Gdovin made sure I was happy with my birth control and sent my refill out. All in all it was probably the quickest and easiest annual exam I've had. The first time I went I loved them so much I actually suggested them to a friend who is also going and she loves this place too. We both have had horrible experiences with Obgyn places before and this place was a great change for us. read more

Dr Falcone, I always call my insurance first, and I have a PPO and they told me yes positively I could go to your office . They told me I may have to pay a little bit more and I was all right with that. Your staff told me that did not matter. They did not take my insurance. I tried to explain to them that I had a PPO. I've scheduled a prenatal appointment with Dr. Amy, but it looks like the soonest for her to accept new patients will be in October, which is about 3 months away. I would take this into consideration if you're planning on becoming pregnant, or need to find a new care provider. From reading many of the reviews, it looks and sounds like she's one of the best to in network OBGYN. I wanted to go to Dr. Amy because she not only does all of the blood work and samples in office, but also the ultrasound as well. This is a huge win me over as I currently go to 2 specialists to get my ultrasound done, and then another one for my check ups. Dr. Amy's office and care is affiliated with St. Rose hospital, which is one of the main reason I wanted to go and see her. St. Rose is one of my favorite hospital, especially after touring the place for their labor and delivery. I highly recommend Dr. Amy as she is one of the younger and caring doctors out there. Which is hugely important when it comes to women and their pregnancies. I'll update this post once I see her in October! read more

A one star review for the office staff is generous. Front desk is rude and doesnt seem to communicate with medical staff. I was told I could drop by to give a blood sample and be in/out within 15 minutes -- ended up waiting TWO hours. The phlebotomist was in office, there was just a office get together happening in the back with a chamoy snack vendor that was more critical than serving patients. That experience was so poor I requested my medical records in order to go elsewhere. Again, the front desk personnel dragged their feet, extending when I could pick up my documents even after paying. Day of pick up was awkward; the front desk asked "were you even pregnant?" Excuse me? I didnt come to this office for dental cleanings. They also made sure to ask at least five times where I was transferring to, which once I said I was moving out of state they dropped it. Medical staff is great, especially nurse Nicole but BEWARE of staff. You have to stay on top of paperwork, what is included/excluded during appointments and what they're charging because staff lacks knowledgeable oversight and general patient empathy. read more

It is currently Monday, January 13, 2025. It is 12:08PM. I have always had an issue getting in contact with the office here. I am so disappointed as always, but not surprised anymore. I'm having concerns that I really wanted to get in to see Dr Falcone, but looks like it's time for me to get that second opinion. If I were calling Dr Falcone directly, different story. She's so sweet, and tries to take her time with every patient. This is ridiculous though. You think having a good rep, you would have a good team to follow behind. Don't recommend coming here anymore though, not if you want to wait and wait and wait to get in contact. I called 6 minutes after they opened and I think 4 hours after they open is a pretty good gap before calling again. This is a reoccurring issue, as this happened to me a while back and they tried to say they were closed the day that I called... funny thing is I had called multiple days. So unless they were out of office for 3 days split, it doesn't make sense. read more

It annoys me when people leave bad reviews for Drs based on their staff, and regretfully I'm now one of those people. I waited 2 months for an appointment, arrived before my appointment time, and was told they don't have a contract with Blue Cross until March. (It's January and I made my appointment in early December.) So, I could pay 250 for a cash visit for annual exam and an extra 150 for a problem if I wanted to see the Dr today. Uhhh no. I already pay 500 a month for my insurance, which defeats the purpose of having it, if I was planning to pay cash for all of my medical services. Ladies, you had almost 2 months to call me to let me know you didn't get your contract in time for my appointment. This is totally unacceptable and a gigantic waste of my time waiting for this appointment. Not to mention the time I had to take off work to come here. Now, I'm going to have to wait even longer for an appointment elsewhere with another provider. I'm sure the Dr is lovely, but that's a moot point if you can't actually see her. read more

One of the worst experiences I've ever encountered at a doctors office. They were four hours late for my appointment. On top of that I had sent in paperwork and called ahead to make sure I was going to have an ultrasound done and blood work for my pregnancy, the office was confused and did none of that. I was very upset and wanted to reschedule the entire thing at that point because none of the nurse practitioners or assistants knew why I was there and told me that. The nurse practitioner was not polite and almost made me cry then said sorry I'm having a bad day and tries to hug me? She said I was four weeks further along than I was in reality after finding a new ob and also told me the wrong due date. I have a heart condition and she did not consider me high risk nor consult me on anything for my condition....that's so scary. I am now under the care of a high risk pregnancy doctor. I'm glad I found a new doctor and advocated for myself because who knows what would've happened had I just trusted her. Updated Dr. Falcone messaged me directly saying I must have the wrong office I do not. We have never met. It was 100% her office and practice and it was a nurse practitioner that was absolutely terrible. This is an honest review of the office and staff. read more

This review is on the office manager and staff, not on the doctor's who seem to be good and kind. I went to the doctor 2x in January when I had moved onto my company's cobra insurance. B/c of a lag in paperwork, the insurance wasn't active so I paid a couple hundred dollars out of pocket for each claim. When I went to submit the claims to my insurance, I needed some documentation. I had a couple calls with Empowered and then they said they needed me to come in. I went to the office and found out that Empowered had submitted both appointments for reimbursement!! They did not tell me this, and I did not authorize them to do so. At least in 1 case, they received the money from the insurance provided - DESPITE ME HAVING ALREADY PAID FOR THE APPOINTMENT (the other is pending). When at the office, I asked for my money back, but at the time the claim was pending so they wouldn't give it to me and said money would be sent when received. I have called since then and still haven't gotten my money. So essentially Empowered filed a claim that had no basis to file without my approval. They then collected my money, collected by going to my insurance company and has kept both payments. I hope to get me $400+ back, but the back-and-forth should not be this hard. It has made me consider a new OBGYN for the future. read more

THE ABSOLUTE BEST!!!! I found Dr. Falcone during my second pregnancy and she was heaven sent from the GET! At 9 weeks she heard all my concerns from my previous pregnancy and delivery. I was sent to be seen at High Risk ( and they were awesome as well) so for my whole 9 months I felt so protected and safe!!! Long story short, we were planning to keep my son in full term as my first was a month premature and we were aiming for a VBAC. I gave birth to my son at 38 weeks and 3 days!!!!! He was breech so we had a repeat c section however this was NOTHING like my previous c section. I was calm and truly taken care of. Dr. Falcone found out that I was very close to experiencing a uterine rupture so it was a blessing that my son stayed breech, he saved BOTH of our lives and with the tender care of Dr. Falcone she made sure we were both taken care of as well. Let me start with saying that I have had nothing but good experiences with Dr. Falcone at her previous location, so this review is no reflection on her as an OBGYN. However, I am incredibly frustrated. I had an appointment well over 2 months ago, but was called a couple days before to let me know that it would have to be cancelled because Dr. Falcone would not be in. The receptionist then proceeded to tell me that the next appointment would be about a month or more away. I expressed my dissatisfaction with that option, especially considering how many times I had to call to even make the appointment in the first place. It did not matter how many voicemails I left, no one ever called me back and they hardly ever answer the phone. No one ever called me until THEY needed to cancel my appointment. Because I like Dr. Falcone so much. I went ahead an rescheduled with them. That appointment was today. I was about 10 minutes late because I could not find my phone and had to just print directions to the office. I also had all of my new patient paperwork filled out and in hand. The one receptionist I was able to get ahold of a couple of days prior emailed them to me when I told her that I was not able to make it 30 minutes before my appointment and that no one told me that when they called to reschedule it. When I arrived, I was told that the 15 grace only applied to existing patients and that I would have to reschedule. I understand and respect that, but me being 10 minutes late with my paperwork completed and in hand should not equate to a rescheduled appointment over 2 months from now at a time that I can't make it to. Their policy is that new patients cannot schedule appointments after 3, which I don't understand. It didn't matter to them that I only had to try and make it today because THEY cancelled my original one. It didn't matter that I did my part and communicated with them in advance and tried to be prepared with my paperwork in hand. It didn't matter when I told them I have left numerous messages and called several times and could not reach anyone and received no phone call back except for a cancellation. All they could do was offer me an appointment that will be over FOUR MONTHS after my original date. I was even told that I can try messaging through the app next time and that she would send me the link while I was there. She then asked me to check it to see if I got the message and I had to remind her that I did not have my phone as I already explained. I don't know if she was even really listening to me. I am soooo frustrated, especially because I would really like to continue working with Dr. Falcone. However, it shouldn't be this hard to speak to a live person or schedule appointments. I understand they have to have policies in place, but have a little understanding and compassion. With reluctancy, I may have to look elsewhere. read more

It all started with a very strong pain in the pit of my stomach. On my turkey day holiday in California. A week with the pain that did not go away. I went to visit a doctor. I had a physical exam and an ultrasound. My results were terrible. Among all, 2 cysts appeared on my ovaries. One of 10 cm and another of 5 cm. They definitely recommended surgery. From that moment I began to look for a specialist gynecologist. A month in California searching and no one wanted to because they didn't have insurance. I was very depressed, desperate and very afraid, because they told me that the cysts could twist and rupture and it would have to be an emergency surgery and my life could be at risk. So my boyfriend and I made the decision to move back to Las Vegas because I lived there for many years and I knew how to get around better. We arrived in Las Vegas and I started looking. I managed to make 3 appointments with different gynecologists, but they were very distant dates. I was so desperate that I did not want to wait. But I found a doctor on the Internet, I consulted by online video, he looked at my case and told me that he had a friend in Las Vegas who was a specialist and that he was going to send my case to see if she accepted. At that very moment he sent it to her and told me that she had said yes. That the next day they are going to call me to make an appointment. Here enters the character of my angels. I just got the call from the Empowered OBGYN clinic. From that moment I felt a ray of light, because apart from the fact that I was going to see my case, I could pay in cash. Because honestly I can't get insurance because I don't have social security. But if I could pay cash. So they gave me the appointment within two days. I went and the girls at the reception were very kind, then I went into the consultation and Dr. Falcone received me. She is A love person, she made me feel very good, she really make feel like family. She quickly told me that she was going to send me to do some tests to see better what ireally had. Gali instructed us on what we had to do for the hospital and everything related to surgery and prices. Gali helped us a lot in all this process, making everything easier for us. That same day they take my blood and the next day they did an MRI. My exams came and with them came other problems apart from the two cysts, I had a fibroid and the inflamed fallopian tubes. That was the problem that caused me so much pain. The day came to meet Dr. Freeman. I'm going to stay short in everything I'm going to say about her. For a person like me who has never had health problems and never undergone surgery. Putting your life in the hands of another person is not anything, but Dr. Freeman gave me the confidence to feel calm. SHe made me feel like someone so important. The day of the surgery arrived and there she was, the angel that God used to give me back my life, with a beautiful smile and ready for the operation. I didn't feel scared at all, everything happened so fast that when I woke up, I found out that the surgery had been complicated, everything was a disaster in my belly. She removed all the bad. It was difficult to remove the cyst larger than one pound. He removed the ovary, the two fallopian tubes that were very inflamed and left it very clean. Look at the photos from the beginning to the end. She did a great job the best. She's just a great doctor, a great surgeon. I definitely recommend her to anyone who might be on a citation like mine. Worth every penny for a consultation with her or treatment. She is an angel that God gave her the great gift of bringing lives into this world and bringing a person back to life. I am already 6 days since my surgery. Everything is super good. My stomach is healing and it is not noticeable that I have had surgery there. Dr. Freeman and her entire team are the best. For all women I say that if you want to have a good doctor for feminine care. Dr. Freeman is the best. Thank you very much doctor freeman, I will be eternally grateful for everything you did for me. UPDATE!!! And this goes to show what a quality OBGYN Amy is. I happened to run into her at the hospital during a tour. She immediately recognized me and walked over to say hi. I told her about trying to reach her and she literally scheduled me at on the spot. She is so caring and was genuinely concerned about my ability to contact them. She is very professional! This has nothing to do with Mrs. Falcone and her quality because so far I have really enjoyed her during the appointments. Unfortunately at the Empowered OBGYN I have not been able to reach them at all. I'm 33 weeks and was never told when to reschedule for my next appointment over a month ago. Just a vague notion that I would come back after labs and scan were scheduled and completed. Long story short I got two of my work day requests denied that I needed in order to schedule last minute exams because of my work schedule. I cannot make it to any of their offered appointment times except for the last one at 4:00pm which gets booked up. This requires me to be on top of scheduling so I can actually make the appointments I need. However on Monday this week I tried calling and leaving a message. 5 days, 6 messages and over 20 calls later I still haven't received a response despite their voicemail saying they would return calls at the end of each business day. I stopped by the clinic at 3:45 PM knowing that their operating hours they should be open but doors are locked. If I can't even get through after a week of trying to schedule in my last few weeks of pregnancy it seriously concerns me having no communication abilities. So glad I found Dr. Falcone on here. This was my first legit ob/gyn visit. Went in for an annual exam, never had one as an adult. She was very friendly and answered all my questions and made sure I was comfortable. After filling out all the paperwork, about 5 minutes later I got seen by the nurse, changed and then the doctor saw me. Very short wait time even with various clients, which I loved!
