I've scheduled a prenatal appointment with Dr. Amy, but it looks like the soonest for her to accept new patients will be in October, which is about 3 months away. I would take this into consideration if you're planning on becoming pregnant, or need to find a new care provider. From reading many of the reviews, it looks and sounds like she's one of the best to in network OBGYN. I wanted to go to Dr. Amy because she not only does all of the blood work and samples in office, but also the ultrasound as well. This is a huge win me over as I currently go to 2 specialists to get my ultrasound done, and then another one for my check ups. Dr. Amy's office and care is affiliated with St. Rose hospital, which is one of the main reason I wanted to go and see her. St. Rose is one of my favorite hospital, especially after touring the place for their labor and delivery. I highly recommend Dr. Amy as she is one of the younger and caring doctors out there. Which is hugely important when it comes to women and their pregnancies. I'll update this post once I see her in October!

It is currently Monday, January 13, 2025. It is 12:08PM. I have always had an issue getting in contact with the office here. I am so disappointed as always, but not surprised anymore. I'm having concerns that I really wanted to get in to see Dr Falcone, but looks like it's time for me to get that second opinion. If I were calling Dr Falcone directly, different story. She's so sweet, and tries to take her time with every patient. This is ridiculous though. You think having a good rep, you would have a good team to follow behind. Don't recommend coming here anymore though, not if you want to wait and wait and wait to get in contact. I called 6 minutes after they opened and I think 4 hours after they open is a pretty good gap before calling again. This is a reoccurring issue, as this happened to me a while back and they tried to say they were closed the day that I called... funny thing is I had called multiple days. So unless they were out of office for 3 days split, it doesn't make sense.

First time mom! Made my husband and I very comfortable and answered all our questions.

I had been going to another OBGYN, but when my fertility doctor mentioned that I needed surgery to remove my endometriosis before moving on to more treatment, I went back to that OBGYN that I had been seeing for yeaaaaars and they were less than helpful. They literally wouldn't see me till end of June (I believe I called in April... wild right?!). So, I hit up Yelp to see if I could find another OBGYN that I would feel comfortable enough with. I searched and found Empowered OBGYN and Dr. Stepanida Freeman. I made the appointment and they mentioned that she wasn't available that day, but that they would have a nurse practitioner chat with me about the surgery and get it scheduled instead. No problem! They were able to book me an appointment TWO WEEKS from the day I called! Much better than nearly two months!!! I was already so impressed. A week before my appointment, I just went in to fill out some paperwork to have my fertility doctor send over all my documentation to them beforehand so I wouldn't have to repeat myself too much haha. Filled out the paperwork and they actually DID get my records from my fertility clinic. LOVED THAT! I came in for my appointment, and every single staff member was incredible and so kind. As I was waiting for the nurse practitioner to come in, the kind staff member that brought me in to the room popped her head in and said, you know what, the doctor said she has some time, so she's just going to come in and chat with you instead. HOW AMAZING IS THAT?! Dr. Freeman was so nice and she's so soft spoken and makes you feel so comfortable. I loved her demeanor and her knowledge. She explained to me the surgery and said someone would reach out to get me scheduled. She also asked if I wanted a pelvic exam since I was there and I said sure! Seriously so nice. When my surgery came, Dr. Freeman obviously performed it and came and talked with me right before hand. I had looked up photos before of what the incisions looked like for this type of surgery, and was so nervous about having these huge reminders on my stomach. Nope! The incisions were so tiny and I healed pretty quickly. I just went in for my post opp appointment and she walked me through showing photos of what she did during the surgery. Absolutely incredible what she was able to do! She removed a cyst from my ovary and kept it in tact and assured me my ovary was good to go! My husband and I were laughing after at how she was like oh yeah I did this, like it wasn't the most impressive thing either of us have heard haha. One of the things I also loved was that she even remembered the name of my fertility doctor and asked when I was seeing her next. Didn't have to look at records or anything! I appreciated that attention to detail, and truly made me feel like she really knows and cares about me as a patient. You don't find that a lot with doctors these days, and even though it seemed like a minor thing to others, it didn't go unnoticed with me and my husband. She is so caring for her patients! I am so appreciative to Dr. Freeman, and I know if (god willing) /when I am pregnant, I trust her whole heartedly for my pregnancy and delivery. I'm so happy to have found a new OBGYN whom I trust!!! As well as the rest of the staff she has here, they are ALL amazing and kind and incredibly caring! I don't ever feel rushed and it honestly feels like every one of her employees and herself are just truly happy to be there. It makes the worlds difference!

Main Character Energy--In the Best Way Possible…read more I don't even know where to start because "thank you" feels way too small for what Dr. Rosenbaum has been to me. From the very beginning, she went so far beyond what any doctor is expected to do that it honestly felt like I had someone in my corner at all times. Not just medically--but emotionally too. I'm someone who gets really anxious with doctors and medical situations, and she saw that immediately. And instead of brushing it off or rushing through appointments like so many do, she stepped in--again and again--without ever being asked. There were moments where she absolutely didn't have to get involved, but she did anyway. She advocated for me, she reassured me, and she made me feel safe in situations where I otherwise would've been overwhelmed. The fact that she even came to the ER for me says everything about the kind of doctor--and person--she is. Who does that anymore? That's not just professionalism, that's genuine care. One thing that will always stay with me is how much attention she gave during my C-section. She took extra time on the final layer of stitching because I have a tattoo, and she wanted it to look perfect. That level of detail, patience, and respect for something that mattered to me... I've honestly never experienced anything like that in healthcare before. Most people would've just finished and moved on--but not her. She also never pressured me into decisions. When it came to delivery, she supported my choice to wait, fully respected my wishes, and made me feel like I had control over my own experience--even though things didn't end up going exactly how I planned. That kind of support is rare, and it meant everything to me. And she didn't just disappear after the surgery--she came to see me every single day. Not rushed, not distant, but present, kind, and genuinely invested in how I was doing. If I had to sum it up: she is the kind of doctor people hope to find but almost never do. She has that rare mix of skill, compassion, attention to detail, and actual heart. She made one of the most intense and vulnerable experiences of my life feel safe, supported, and human. She's not just an amazing doctor--she's the best doctor I've ever met in my life. Truly. If you're under her care, you are beyond lucky.

With so many built in inherent snafus and neglectful approaches to women's health and wellness, it's hard to come across a provider who is not only intelligent and up on current advances as well as a good listener and empathetic. They still saw me for my appointment even though I was about 15 minutes late. That was a relief, because rescheduling is never easy! I had all of the paperwork sent to me through a text link so I could fill it out before my appointment. That avoided the dreaded completion of all that paperwork with a pen & clipboard in the waiting room. I have been seeing Dr. Mee Han, APRN for many years now. She has very good communication skills and will surely make you feel at ease. She will really listen to you if you have any concerns or issues. The office staff is great! More like Legacy for Putting Profit Over Patients…read more TLDR: They require an annual pap, whether you need one or not. I initially wrote a glowing review of this practice. My first appointment was incredible! I felt heard. I felt believed. But things quickly took a turn. I was told to come back in a month after trying the new birth control and being put on a low dose of Metformin to control my insulin resistance. I was told to take 500mg once daily for 30 days, and we would add another 500mg at my next appointment if I tolerated the meds well enough. The goal was to eventually get up to 2000mg, but Dr. Eisert wanted to do it gradually to minimize side effects. I was only prescribed 30 tablets, consistent with what Dr. Eisert and I discussed. When I returned in 30 days, I saw his PA, Tina. She was lovely! However, she seemed confused as to why I was there. She showed me a chart and read from what I believe was my clinical summary of my last visit. I was supposed to add 500mg of metformin every week, so long as I tolerated the drug. I should have already been at 2000mg by then. But again, I was only prescribed 30 tablets for 30 days, and the prescription bottle said to take one pill daily. She told me she would refill my meds and said I didn't need any follow-ups. I took that to mean that I would have to come back within a year to continue receiving medications, but that I didn't need routine follow-ups every few months. My prescription was still wrong. I only received 30 tablets. I sent a message in the portal and it was corrected, but they forgot to give me refills. So I contacted them this week. I received a message that the doctor wasn't comfortable prescribing more medications after this month without an annual exam. I just saw the provider 6 months ago. So I call. The scheduler was very kind. But she explained that the office policy is that I am required to get an annual pap smear in order to receive medication. I informed her that I just saw Dr. Eisert 6 months ago and also had a pap with my primary doctor in August. She doubled down and said it had to be a pap smear. I am 40 years old with no history of abnormal cervical cancer or HPV results, nor do I have a family history of cancer. ACOG guidelines and my primary doctor say I'm all set for 5 years. Not to mention that a pap is traumatic for many women like me with a history of sexual assault. This isn't a simple blood test. This is an invasive exam. The scheduler suggested I speak to the nurse, Amy, to see what can be done. I spoke to her this morning. She was abrupt and dismissive. She said that since my primary doctor did my pap last year (before I established care with Legacy), then she could go ahead and prescribe my medications from now on and ended the conversation. Current guidelines do not recommend yearly Pap smears for many women, including someone with my screening history. I truly struggle to see any other motive than money here.
