More like Legacy for Putting Profit Over Patients. TLDR: They require an annual pap, whether you need one or not. I initially wrote a glowing review of this practice. My first appointment was incredible! I felt heard. I felt believed. But things quickly took a turn. I was told to come back in a month after trying the new birth control and being put on a low dose of Metformin to control my insulin resistance. I was told to take 500mg once daily for 30 days, and we would add another 500mg at my next appointment if I tolerated the meds well enough. The goal was to eventually get up to 2000mg, but Dr. Eisert wanted to do it gradually to minimize side effects. I was only prescribed 30 tablets, consistent with what Dr. Eisert and I discussed. When I returned in 30 days, I saw his PA, Tina. She was lovely! However, she seemed confused as to why I was there. She showed me a chart and read from what I believe was my clinical summary of my last visit. I was supposed to add 500mg of metformin every week, so long as I tolerated the drug. I should have already been at 2000mg by then. But again, I was only prescribed 30 tablets for 30 days, and the prescription bottle said to take one pill daily. She told me she would refill my meds and said I didn't need any follow-ups. I took that to mean that I would have to come back within a year to continue receiving medications, but that I didn't need routine follow-ups every few months. My prescription was still wrong. I only received 30 tablets. I sent a message in the portal and it was corrected, but they forgot to give me refills. So I contacted them this week. I received a message that the doctor wasn't comfortable prescribing more medications after this month without an annual exam. I just saw the provider 6 months ago. So I call. The scheduler was very kind. But she explained that the office policy is that I am required to get an annual pap smear in order to receive medication. I informed her that I just saw Dr. Eisert 6 months ago and also had a pap with my primary doctor in August. She doubled down and said it had to be a pap smear. I am 40 years old with no history of abnormal cervical cancer or HPV results, nor do I have a family history of cancer. ACOG guidelines and my primary doctor say I'm all set for 5 years. Not to mention that a pap is traumatic for many women like me with a history of sexual assault. This isn't a simple blood test. This is an invasive exam. The scheduler suggested I speak to the nurse, Amy, to see what can be done. I spoke to her this morning. She was abrupt and dismissive. She said that since my primary doctor did my pap last year (before I established care with Legacy), then she could go ahead and prescribe my medications from now on and ended the conversation. Current guidelines do not recommend yearly Pap smears for many women, including someone with my screening history. I truly struggle to see any other motive than money here. read more

Receptionist seemed very annoyed upon me entering and walking up to the desk, I thought she came off as a little rude but brushed it off because she could just have a reserved personality type (reading reviews though, seems like I kinda picked up the vibe). I called and said all the services I wanted done prior to coming in, and the receptionist reiterated to me which services I wanted done and then charged me $150 upon entering, I assumed this was the total for the services she JUST confirmed with me. Then I get called back into the little room and the nurse tells me it's going to be almost $400 extra for my service?! I told her I paid at the front already and I'm confused because why didn't the receptionist tell me that the services were going to cost extra? I would have paid upfront because I wanted them done but now you've taken me into the back and I assume I paid for everything and you're going to blindside me? Felt like they were trying to rob me without a gun. The nurse leaves the room and tells the doctor (right outside my door, mind you...I heard them lowkey talking shit about my finances but whatever) . Doctor comes in, she's immediately got an attitude and starts off with "you don't have the money for the services you want?" ...rude as hell. I have the money, but I didn't appreciate being BLINDSIDED and lied too. I was so tempted to walk out at that point but I knew I wouldn't get a refund so I just bit my tongue and stayed. She gave me a quick maybe 1 minute look, said I look fine, it 100% felt like she was brushing me off and stopped caring about even giving me an exam when I didn't want to proceed with the extra add-on services. It felt like she tried to pressure me into getting the tests the whole time I was there (which it look me longer to get undressed/dressed than our whole appointment even went if that tells you how fast she brushed me off) then suggested if I can't afford tests here that I should check welfare... I felt so disrespected. So I will absolutely never come back here. It felt like a total SCAM. Disrespectful and rude staff all around. If you'd like to go here just make sure that you're perfect because otherwise you'll be looked down on. I'm so mad that I paid $150 for absolutely nothing. Robbery. I had a friend refer me here, after telling her how it went she's never coming back here either. This was insane. If the receptionist was trained better and said "$150 is base pay and any extras will be $__ more" THEN I WOULD HAVE PAID THE FUCKING $500 BEFORE I WENT INTO THE EXAM ROOM!!!!! I'm mad about being tricked while half naked and venerable and then judged when I'm obviously caught off guard. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. No one should ever be treated as an inconvenience or pushed off to another clinic. Mee Han did my colposcopy on 3/25/25, and DURING the appointment she told me I needed to schedule a LEEP procedure with the hospital because they don't do the procedure in-office. I asked if it was urgent and she said I should just get it done by the fall. I tried to schedule it at the front desk, but they said someone from the hospital would reach out to me. My biopsy results were never relayed back to me and I never heard anything from Legacy again, but I did hear from the hospital, so I scheduled the LEEP procedure for Oct (that was the soonest they had available). I moved to AZ in the summer of 2025 and scheduled an OBGYN appointment for some weird symptoms (which I had been complaining to Legacy about for months) and the new OB urgently sent me to an oncologist (I had an appt within DAYS) where they confirmed Stage 3A cervical cancer and a 7cm vaginal tumor. My new OBGYN said the tissue that was biopsied was visually cancerous and should never have been cut into. I am currently in cancer treatment and THANK GOD I moved to AZ and got a second opinion. So this practice used to be off of Eastern and Wigwam. They modified the name from Legacy Women's Health to Legacy for Women, OBGYN. I did not know they move locations, so I went to the old one! Or maybe they notified me in June, but it is now Oct. so I forgot! Either way, the new location, is only about 15 minutes away. They still saw me for my appointment even though I was about 15 minutes late. That was a relief, because rescheduling is never easy! I had all of the paperwork sent to me through a text link so I could fill it out before my appointment. That avoided the dreaded completion of all that paperwork with a pen & clipboard in the waiting room. I have been seeing Dr. Mee Han, APRN for many years now. She has very good communication skills and will surely make you feel at ease. She will really listen to you if you have any concerns or issues. The office staff is great! The people I had contact with from the time I walked in, until the time I checked out were all very helpful and friendly. I've always liked this practice, never had any issues here. I'm going to start by saying that when this practice was at the old location I really enjoyed it. I had a great experience throughout my entire pregnancy and delivery in 2023. Fast forward to postpartum I went for my normal annual appointment in December 2024, which is a year after I had my son everything was fine and then in December 2025 I got a bill saying that they could not bill my insurance. First of all, it was an entire year later so no wonder they were having trouble. However, I had the same insurance throughout my entire pregnancy and my follow up appointments, which makes it weird that they all of a sudden had trouble billing it. I called them and said you all have the right information you need to bill the insurance and they said OK we'll take care of it. Now three months later I received a bill for almost $1000 for an appointment that was 14 months ago because they couldn't bill my insurance properly. It's wild they keep bothering me to schedule my next appointment but still can't get this one right. The amount of time and energy I've spent on their incompetence is wild. read more

I normally don't like to bring attention on the internet but this by far har been the worst experience at a doctors office I've received. This is my first pregnancy and the only negative experience I've had so far was at this office. I had to switch OBs because I just knew I wasnt comfortable nor being taken care of professionally. If you read any reviews on here, go somewhere else. This place is a mess. The biggest red flag was when I came for my 10 week check up. The doctor explained the NIPT test and told me it was going to be $400. In my mind I'm thinking if it's not mandatory I'm not spending $400 sorry. Well that was a lie and when I switched offices it was completely covered through my insurance. Second, my doctor told me that she was just going to check my cervix to make sure it was still closed and that it may cause some bleeding and this is normal. I said okay? This is my first pregnancy so I didn't know any better. When I switched to my new office I was informed that the doctor did infact do a PAP on me without my knowledge. Which was the cause for the bleeding. But I was not able to confirm nor deny if I wanted to have a Pap smear because those words were never used and I never got the option. Felt slightly violated just because I wasn't informed it was just done to me. The front desk women are very rude and it feels like you're bothering them when you walk up. I also got yelled at by an advice nurse over the phone when I was experiencing pain and this is my first pregnancy so I was scared, which made me burst on in tears. You would think that working with women they'd be a little more sensitive. I've waited for a scheduled appointment for almost an hour and a half. And that is what ultimately led to me switched over to a different care facility. I feel taken care of, not mislead or deceived. read more

I called in to reschedule my annual, I provided some personal information about what I've been experiencing over the past year or so, I didn't know I was experiencing postpartum depression or anxiety until more recently and wanted more information or advice, it's embarrassing who wants to talk about struggling mentally with strangers. I was hoping to get some resources. It was hard for me to even admit that I think I'm experiencing PPD out loud and the woman who assisted with scheduling was kind enough to transfer me to someone who she thought would help with resources. I was asked for my dob & when I gave birth and was told verbatim "that's not postpartum" I was dismissed, not asked any follow up questions. To my knowledge, ppd can last months or longer if untreated. I will never come back to this office, I immediately called back and cancelled my appointment. I enjoyed my overall experience with Janice Enriquez who is no longer there. It's unfortunate that another woman can be so cold. PPD is a real and many women experience it, they may not know it or too embarrassed to admit it. Training is necessary for the employee who dismissed my medical concerns. read more

PRACTICE WAS PURCHASED BY PRIVATE EQUITY GROUP - Before this practice merged it was great, staff was kind, my doctor seemed to care and wait times were short. I wanted to continue care with Dr.Turner because she delivered my baby and was nice. Now I wait an hour to see a doctor, they only seem to really care about pregnant people and are completely dismissive of the pain I'm experiencing, telling me the results from my ultrasound were "normal" when even the notes at the bottom say they are not. I asked for a second opinion by another doctor at the practice who I also occasionally see because my doctor was on vacation and they refused. Someone there named Amy told me to go to the ER if I was "in that much pain" and to just go to another practice if I don't trust my doctor. Extremely frustrated that my appointment was scheduled at 3:30 and I received a point from work for coming to an appointment that was scheduled. I was on time filled out all my paperwork online and watched multiple people go past me. My OB/GYN of 25 plus years retired and I was referred to this office for future care. I was scheduled with Dr. Miller and a little nervous about starting over after all these years with someone new. The staff was friendly and efficient. The nurse was exceptional and spent time with me making sure all my questions were prepared for Dr. Miller. My conversation with Dr. Miller was easy and I felt as though she truly cared for me. She offered some great suggestions on things I can do to make the most of my menopausal years ahead. I was a patient for over 10 years. I even used one of their doctors to deliver my son (she's no longer with them now). Long story short, I strongly suggest finding another doctors office. They don't care about your personal situation or health, they only care about cashing in the insurance money. I found a lump in my breast, and had MULTIPLE forms imaging performed, as well as other testing including a recent mammogram. I didn't want to subject myself to more radiation with another mammogram after fining out this info, and my insurance was willing to approve the MRI. Legacy gave me soooo many issues, and no returned calls for months. I couldn't ever reach my doctor! I kept records and phone logs to prove how many times I was actually reaching out to try to get ahold of ANYONE that might be able to help. I had to go in and actually raise my voice in person to the doctor (which I made an appointment with false reasons so I could actually get in to see my doctor), just to get my MRI approved. I was armed with everything printed out. When she stepped into the room I had all my documentation and paperwork laid out all over the table. What a nightmare! After finally getting my MRI approved following this final appointment, of course I found another doctor. This whole situation could have been avoided if they truly cared about their patients, and actually WANTED to help them. I will say that within the whole office, there was one nurse that was sympathetic to my situation and truly did try to help me, her name was Katrina. Thank you Katrina! This was my first time coming here and my first try in finding a new OB/GYN. I feel like I really lucked out! I try to research before hand, read reviews, and go based off the majority of comments, which is why I decided to try my luck with Nurse Practitioner Amanda Grange. When I first called to make an appointment the lady was really patient and helpful, and she answered a lot of my questions. It was really easy to find the location, and the check in process was very simple. I appreciate the ability to do a lot of the pre-appointment questions online, before my actual appointment which made my check-in process very quick. When I got called in, I met Jacole (I believe that's how you spell it) and I loved her! She was very sweet, had a calm demeanor, empathetic, funny, and she was a really good listener. She, too, answered any questions I had, and she really made me feel at ease. I can tell that with people like her, women can easily feel like they're just coming to a regular place to hang out rather than a doctor's appointment. I can say that I feel the same way with NP Amanda Grange. She was also very patient, kind, calm, quick and professional. Didn't make me feel awkward or dismissed at all. The doctors have body shammed me at this place, and have ignored me and misdiagnosed me. They continue to mess up my scheduling on almost every visit. They rescheduled my annual four times for their needs. They scheduled me with a doctor who was on vacation. The scheduled me one day before my annual was available. They incorrectly charged my insurance for an annual visit when I got a depo shot. They are honestly the worst. I've been a patient here for about 6 months. The medical care has been good to this point. However I am switching OBGYN's due to the new check in policy that is making it a requirement to check in to your appointment exclusively online. This requirement does not make sense when you are showing up to your appointment early and there are many admin staff at the check in desk to take care of this function. To refuse to see a patient and check on the welfare of their baby because of a newly implemented online check in policy is a poor practice from a medical establishment. read more

My first appointment For Women was in July. They sold me on some DNA testing for breast cancer that they said my insurance would cover (it mostly didn't), but other than that it was good. I spoke with the doctor about wanting to wean off my Progesterone (I had already cut my dose in half) and we discussed my difficulty with my annual exam because I am a sexual assault survivor. Dr. Turner seemed to understand but told me that she wanted me to have a pap smear the following year. A few weeks ago, my pharmacy told me that my Progesterone refill was denied. I call For Women and left a message. I got no response. I called again last week. No response. I called yesterday and left a message saying that I only had 2 pills left. Today I got a return call. I was told that Dr. Turner would only refill 1 month and that it was under the condition that I made an appointment for a pap smear right away. I tried to explain to the nurse that I did not think my next appointment would be until July and as a sexual assault survivor, I needed some time to prepare for the exam. She did not care. I told her that I was not able to just come over and get an exam without speaking with a therapist first, and that would take some time since I hadn't identified a therapist yet. I literally thought I had a few more months to deal with this since it had only been 8 months since my last appointment. The nurse kept saying that she would tell Dr. Turner that I refused to have an appointment. I kept saying that I was not refusing, I just needed more time. The nurse also said that Dr. Turner wanted me to wean off the Progesterone. I tried to explain that it was MY idea, not the doctors, and that i wanted to do that, but I was still having issues with hot flashes. The nurse did not seem to be able to hear what I was saying. She called me back a few hours later and said that she spoke with Dr. Turner and I was being dismissed as a patient and i would be getting no medication. She (and Dr. Turner) know that I only have 1 pill left and that it will not be good for me to stop taking Progesterone suddenly. I have read multiple reviews since this happened and it seems to be a recurring theme. As soon as there is the slightest disagreement, the patient is "dismissed" regardless of the health implications. read more

I have had a TON of issues recently (turning 39 has been a tough one!), mostly dealing with too heavy irregular cycles, and hormone imbalance. PA Amanda Grainger has been AUH-MA-ZING! She was attentive, listened to my timeline and multitude of issues, calmed my anxiety (cause I FULL on thought I was dying!)....She has worked with me on MY body...I was referred to her by my primary care provider, who also sees her! read more
