This location became short-staffed because over half the employees quit in a short period of time and clinicians' caseloads doubled. Consequently, it was difficult to meet patients' needs. On top of that, when all the staff in the child/adolescent program quit, they forced a new therapist from the adult program (who had no clinical experience working with kids) to take charge with little to no training. Some would say these decisions fall below ethical standards and are not in the best interest of the patients. You deserve better. If you are looking for an IOP or PHP program in the area, there are several other options.

They also allowed him to run around hallways and ESCAPE from their secured area, leading to a 30-minute hunt for a 9-year-old boy throughout stairwells that lead outside near a very busy street. During discharge, they suggested a more aggressive medication for the sake of "calming" him, and suggested places out of state to send him to. Then they had the gall to charge me hundreds of dollars for THEIR negligent treatment of my son, and our family's further life disruption by keeping him kicked out of school. Fast forward to a year later, and we found a great local school for our son - a therapeutic day school that is designed for autistic kids. Thanks to a school that knows what they're doing, our son is thriving there, and he very obviously did not need to be institutionalized or over-medicated. Rogers... how dare you give up on a boy who needed help, suggesting that he needs higher-level institutionalization and more aggressive medication, and setting him up to have had his schooling delayed. DO NOT SEEK HELP FROM ROGERS BEHAVIORAL.

Because the staff is primarily composed of Caucasian women, they responded as Caucasian women usually do, They did not take the time to impartially investigate the situation in its entirety. My trauma reaction was to refuse to leave the room, so the group session could be continued. So the staff decided to move the session to another room and the Caucasian woman agreed to go. This is another white power structure play, the white power structure will favor those who will play their game of feigned-surrender; meaning because I was refusing to give up my seat to another patient and refused to leave the room - I was deemed the problem. I was so triggered I was unable to request tools to help me to calm down. I have experienced over five decades of white supremacy and was in treatment for a myriad of reasons, one of which was workplace bullying at the hands of Caucasian women, so yeah in that moment I struggled to calm down. Eventually I was asked to leave because I yelled and cussed while speaking with one of the medical site directors. I take full responsibility for my yelling and cussing. I wish I did not raise my voice and cuss because treatment should be a safe space for all. Staff needs to address their racism, which plays out in how they treat clients and respond to crisis situations. My previous post was removed by Yelp because they stated it was not detailed. Over many months, my daughter remained highly distressed and aggressive during sessions, yet I did not see effective intervention, a clear treatment plan, or measurable improvement. Instead of helping de-escalate conflict and rebuild trust, the sessions often felt like a place where emotions were allowed to spiral without enough guidance. I repeatedly asked for updates, a treatment plan, or some type of status report so I could understand what the goals were and whether any progress was being made. I was told there were no written reports and that communication was happening verbally with others. As a parent, that left me feeling excluded from a process that was supposed to help my child. I was also concerned by the inconsistency in communication and scheduling. Important questions often felt unanswered, and at times the process seemed improvised rather than clinically directed. From my perspective, the therapy became one-sided and did not create the balanced, safe environment that reunification work requires. Even during one session, the GAL commented that the therapist appeared one-sided, which only reinforced my concern. Most importantly, nothing improved. My child became harder to convince to attend, the conflict with the other parent continued, and I left feeling that the process caused more frustration than healing. This was an expensive and emotionally difficult experience for my family, and I cannot recommend this provider based on what we lived through.
