Prices are pretty reasonable most of the time, but again, I only come here to quickly pick up things because it's a closer walk from my home than H-Mart. I don't really like their parking lot setup because you have cars going in and out on both sides (one on Northern, which I think is quite unsafe).

And speaking of different languages the counter people here are proficient in at least 4. There's great fresh hand-picked produce on sale right in the front, also fresh pre-made salads and a selection of chilled beverages. They have their own chef on premises as well. On his last trip there, out of a myriad of selection, he opted for two boxes of Coco Glace and was kind enough to give me one of those boxes. What in Earth's name is that, you ask? Heaven in a box is what I refer to it as. It's this young coconut with nothing but juice, meat, and agar agar in it. No preservatives, no bullshit. It comes frozen. It comes out as light slushy goodness that you can eat year round. My other friend's parents are a Thai distributor on the West Coast. Ahh..it's great to be surrounded by food! How to eat Coco Glace: 1. You remove the plastic, take it off the foam base and put it back in the box. 2. You nuke it for 2 minutes in the microwave. 3. You take it out of the box and put it back on the foam base. 4. You chuck the flimsy plastic tablespoon it comes with and use a metal spoon. 5. You first mash up the slushy goodness. 6. You then scrape around the insides of the young coconut and cut the big pieces of white flesh with your spoon. 7. You scoop a chunk of young white coconut flesh, some slush, some juice and put the varietal of textures in your mouth. 8. You masticate, swallow and roll your eyes back in sheer ecstasy. This beacon of light shines upon you as you think you have ascended into heaven. There is nothing but puffy white clouds surrounding you.
