Master clock-smith for sure. Came to my house to set up my grandfather clock that my moving company said they could move and put back together. Well that was a bold face lie, so I had to call these guys to come out. He set up and fixed my grandfather clock, showed me what he did, showed me how to best keep it in working order. Couple weeks later I pushed the pendulum too hard and it came out of its track. Well they back their work with a 90 day warranty so he just came out right away, fixed it, told me what I did wrong, installed something that will help prevent that from happening and told me what NOT to do. The man is very quiet, doesn't say much, but he definitely speaks through his work, and when he does speak it's to teach you and help you with your clock. Great little shop on S. Golden Rd. Went in to get a watch battery replaced and was immediately greeted and asked what I could be helped with. The worst experience ever! Brought a Hamilton watch in, told it would take a month for repairs. After 4 weeks, started to follow up. One excuse after another from both the owner and his wife. Finally they would not answer my calls or return voice messages. Decided to go back to their shop (in Golden at that time) to find they were packing up and moving. After more than three months he returned my watch scratched up from removing the back multiple times, not repaired, and said parts were hard to come by for this international brand. Terrible experience from unprofessional "craftsman". Maybe he can sell a battery, but he cannot provide reliable service. read more

I went in to have the back of my watch snapped into place after dropping it on the floor. I tried and tired on my own, but to no avail. He took a look at it, brought it over to his bench, and a minute later..presto my watch repaired at NO cost! Sure it was an easy job, but it was his buisness, his specialty equipment and his time. I took my watch in for repair. It had a link that kept falling off. It is a MIchael Kors, and after what I paid for it, you'd think the MIchael Kors people would have been more helpful, but that's a diiferent review. I had read that this place was great and they'd been around forever. When I took it in, I was told it would take 5 days, and cost $10. 8 (business) days later, I still hadn't heard anything. I called and asked, this was a Friday. They said, "it will be ready Monday". I go to pick it up Monday, he tells me "Oh, I haven't even started on it yet". Really??? What happened to 5 days?? And no offense, I'm sure these are decent people, but with a watch that expensive you start to wonder if you'll see it again. So then he tells me he'll take some money off for the trouble, and it will be ready the following day. If it wasn't even going to take a day, why did it take 11???? So I pick it up. He charges mne $8. You took $2 off for keeping my watch WAY past the time you originally quoted, didn't have it ready when it was supposed to be and you took $2 off?? In this economy, not the best way to earn repeat customers. I know I won't be back, and I wouldn't send my friends or family either. read more

These people are great! I live in the southern suburbs, but went all the way over to Golden to have Sean and Jessica look at our mantle clock. The Westminster chimes weren't working properly and Sean diagnosed the problem quickly and had us working again in no time. Been going there for years. Never a problem. More than 8 battery replacements. Band sizing. etc. New bands are a little pricey. But batteries are reasonably priced and done on the spot and band sizing is done correctly quickly. I spend more time looking at watch magizines than it takes to get service done.
