This is a two part review. The first is for Carlos in the Rolex AD side of the store. He was 5/5 stars. Really great communication via email prior to me arriving in town. Extremely helpful with showing me options and sizing and accommodating my requests to see other watches. Very knowledgeable and professional, cannot emphasize enough how great he was. Part two is for the used watch side of the business. Unfortunately I did not get the name of the employee who helped me. I asked for his card and he wouldn't give me one. To start he was super vague on the Rolex watches I inquired about. Didn't know anything about them. Then he lied to me twice saying a watch I inquired about was not in stock. After sensing I actually was looking to buy and asking if he were to find one would I buy it, I said perhaps, it depends on the watch, he walks away and comes back with the watch. He knew all along he had the watch in stock but lied to try to make a sale on finding a unicorn. I am in sales, I know what shady tactics are and this guy oozed incompetence and simple minded efforts. When I started looking at the watch and trying it on he started taking notes on his cell phone and said he will show me when we are done. I decided that particular size of the watch was not what I was looking for, and I didn't feel like paying the 2k markup he offered so I decided to think about it and perhaps revisit it when I was back in town 3 days later. As soon as I said that he showed me his notes which said "He won't buy the watch even though it is perfect." I was immediately angry. What a total sleaze ball. Insulting a customer is rarely a good sales approach. How someone that incompetent and feebleminded has a job in the luxury business is beyond me. Instead of spending 10k on a watch yesterday in your store, I walked across the aisle and bought my wife some Louis Vuitton bags. I will gladly work with Carlos in the future and Rolex AD side. You couldn't pay me to step foot in the utter failure used watch side of that business. -10/5 stars. read more

A few years ago I bought a beautiful Omega watch here. Late last year I took it in for a new battery. They had it for a few weeks. After a while I figured out that they had set the date incorrectly. So I took it back. They said it would be put through as a rush job. A couple months later I called to check on it. They said they'd get back to me the same day. They didn't. The next day I called them again. They said they would get back to me. They called and left a message that I could pick up my watch. I went and got it. It seems fine. I asked if there was any reason they'd kept it so long. They had no reason. Not good. I was basically without my watch for a half a year. Wake up people. It's called customer service. read more

My girlfriend had previously went into Hyde Park to look at engagement rings, the gentleman she had previously spoke to was kind and very helpful. This second time was my first time and we were "helped" by the most rude employee I have ever encountered, Tony Gross.... Extremely rude and extremely unhelpful. Every question we had, his response was so vague. "Is this a 2 carat diamond?" "Yea, perhaps" or "yea, maybe". It's not like we didn't know what we were talking about, but even if we didn't, a sale representative should educate their customers if they don't know something! We were looking at lab grown diamonds and off to the side was actual diamonds. Tony said I wouldn't be interested in those cause "you dont look like the type of people who would dress up and look nice"....... On top of that he was so pushy about everything, we had to leave the store abruptly cause it was getting uncomfortable for the both of us. I'll be taking my business elsewhere. There's a great selection of rings and I was ready to purchase one, but the pushy attitude, lack of help, and straight up rudeness left a very sour taste in my mouth. read more

1. The most pompous watch store in Colorado. 2. Treated me like a second class citizen. Ignored me for 10 minutes and when I do talked with a guy in pony tail, there's no warmth. It's all about selling me things I don't want. 3. They make you buy diamonds before you are "allowed", to buy a Patek or Rolex. "Everything has to be approved to be sold to you by the owner" he said. Oh right, they lost their Patek license this year. Oh and they said the same nonsense on an Omega. 4. Don't believe them when they lie to your face that you don't need to buy other things first before they'll offer you a watch you want. How do I know they are crooks? I have a friend who never listens to me and bought 6 figures worth of junk from them only to be denied a Rolex Daytona because they said they can only sell to people who has a Colorado driver's license. So what about the other purchases he made initially hmm? 5. Again, if you want to be treated like a beggar or be abused because you have money, then this is the place for you. I am constantly impressed with the level of customer service when I visit Hyde Park. I have been fortunate to get to know Yelena through my visits in the store, her customer service and knowledge of the Rolex brand is second to none. During my travels, I have visited other Rolex stores, none of them have watches for sale, just exhibition models. I came into the Denver location, because my Rolex needed to be repaired and Hyde Jewelers is Rolex certified, and conveniently located near my hotel. It was fairly busy, which was fine. Having come into the store with whom actually gifted the watch to me, many years ago- the agreement was to notify us of the cost of repair and have it mailed back to the state where I reside. Instead I received a call regarding some modifications, (which are documented in the copy of original appraisal I later provided to them). The explanation for the deciding to not do the repair, due to the extent of "modifications" etc. was reasonable and respectable . So, I requested for my timepiece to be mailed back to me, so I could take it to the original well respected Jeweler where it was purchased, has been around for several decades, or a local Rolex location. Prior to paying for the return delivery, I requested that it be insured for the thousands of dollars of its value, and was perplexed by seeing a charge on my Amex for only 35.00. For an expedited FedEx delivery, it seemed extremely low. Upon arrival, I provided my identification to obtain the package from FedEx, which was in an unusually large box. My intuition alone, made me decide to open the box while still at the counter, to have a witness just in case something wasn't up to par. Not only was my Rolex in a plastic bag, with one piece of tissue paper, but in two pieces. The dial wasn't even connected to the band, nor did the invoice included have any amount of insurance. The sentimental value alone, had I not received it back, would have devastated me. My watch was left at Hyde Jewelers in one piece. Therefore I notified Hyde Jewelers IMMEDIATELY, and submitted images from the FedEx counter. While now disassembled in addition to in repaired, their initial suggestions were to take it to a local jeweler that is inside of a grocery store, in addition to other random jewelers likely found on Google, that were not Rolex Certified. I was eventually offered a return label to ship it back, for them to rectify the situation. It was quickly returned back to me insured, thankfully.... I do appreciate the initiative to repair the clasp. But, the back and forth while receiving no apology just didn't sit well with me. read more

Purchased my Rolex from here last month best jewelry buying experience I have ever had. I purchased it certified. They had it shipped from another location to theirs. When the watch came in, I had my daughter in town. They told me that they would have it shipped Monday overnighted to me and I would receive it Tuesday. I called in Tuesday to verify it was shipped out the day before it did not get shipped out Monday . so the assistant store manager Physically drove to my house and dropped it off . So I was super super happy and grateful and was completely amazed with that. Upon receiving my watch, I Was very happy, but was definitely short some links for a normal person's wrist. My wife and I moved to Denver in 2021. I had gotten really into watches in the past couple of years (look up "WIS") but had always written off Rolex. Mainly because I figured they were impossible to get anyways, so I focused on other brands. Then suddenly, I realized that I really wanted a specific Rolex, one that had a ton of heritage, history, and fit my personality perfectly. The staff were down to earth and willing to have a multi-hour long conversation with me about watches. Yelena and Carlos were awesome and helped me get my dream watch eventually. There was a wait, but it was worth it. And more importantly, I really enjoyed the experience of getting to know the people at Hyde Park and checking out their other brands (with no pressure to buy). This is what a Rolex experience should be like. Some people are offended that there are wait times and think all Rolex AD's are the bad kind (condescending, pretentious, etc.) but I can assure you that the team here is top-notch and very welcoming. Great place. I'd love to purchase from you guys, but I don't want to buy three watches I don't want before I can get the Rolex or Patek I really want. The Rep told me that Rolex only goes to their best customers. I get that's what ADs want to do to reward customers, but as a Rolex and Tudor owner I can tell you this is stupid. It turns customers off from both Rolex and the AD. I have two options as a buyer. 1. Buy my non-Rolex watches through Hyde Park, and MAYBE get a desirable Rolex or Patek. 2. Go through a friend who has a purchase history at a different AD and guarantee a Rolex within 8 months. Id love to run my purchases through you guys, but I want what I want and I'm not a "good" enough customer to get it. So, I'm forced to buy an identical product elsewhere. Edit: I spoke with the manager and was told the info I received was incorrect. I want to believe that, but I really struggle to believe that. If it's not true where did the representative get that idea and what is the process to get a steel Rolex? Unfortunately, I'll have to stick with my out of state AD. I've been a long term customer buying a number of high end watches for myself, and jewelry for my wife. My son wanted to buy a diamond wedding ring so I sent him there. He's there for 10-15 minutes before anyone even acknowledged him. He was wearing a hat, t-shirt and shorts. He told them he was interested in a specific diamond and a Panerai watch. The sales girl, who knew very little about the diamond he wanted, found out they could bring in a couple the following day. She was to call when they came in. He never heard so spent his $23000 at another store. They lost two customers because they just blew him off. No retailer should judge someone by what they look like or wear, but they definitely did. I used to deal with Joyce Moses, and she was wonderful. Not sure if she is still there, but he sure didn't get service like she used to give me. read more

5 stars for customer service! I bought a wedding band with diamonds, unfortunately my wife noticed one of the smaller diamonds was missing by the time of our ceremony a week later. I signed a form accepting the condition of the ring (though I didn't really look too closely oops!). I figured the form I signed technically releases Hyde Park from any responsibility so I was worried. BUT they fixed everything absolutely free of charge anyway. So I'd 100% recommend. read more

*** REVIEW UPDATE 1/19/2022 *** I wrote a review when I bought my first OMEGA in May. In October I got the Seamaster Professional 300 with a stunning white dial. Once again, Sharla Jackson was incredibly helpful and patient. And then in November I was lucky to be in a position where I could buy a Rolex. I stopped by to say hi to Carlos Ibañez and he had just received some display only models. I had not considered a 36 mm watch and that all changed when I tried on the Explorer reference 124270. I instantly fell in love with the symmetry of the no date dial, the amazing legibility, the way it felt on my wrist, and its understated nature. A few days later I emailed Carlos and told him I was ready, to which he replied that it might take up to about six months; the Rolex demand is no joke, it is real and patience is a must. To my surprise, I got an email from Carlos about a month later saying that one would become available and I just had to confirm that I wanted it. After careful consideration and deep reflection for an entire 1/1000 of a second I said YES! ABSOLUTELY! I am in absolute awe of the perfection of my new timepiece (my OMEGAs are a bit jealous at the moment, but I am sure they understand). Finally, my dream of owning a Rolex has come true. We were sorely disappointed with the service we received at Hyde Park. When we walked in, we were not greeted for a while despite multiple sales reps being available (there were more sales reps than customers in the store). One was texting on his phone and the other few didn't acknowledge us. Ten minutes later, we were helped and the person helping us was rather cold and seemed skeptical of our request to resize a family heirloom engagement ring and wedding band. We didn't get a welcoming vibe at all, and it didn't make us feel comfortable entrusting our heirloom rings with them. He took our rings out of the box, put them in the palm of his hand and said he needed to consult with the jewelers upstairs. Before giving us a chance to ask any questions, he walked away with our rings and just left us waiting. The consultation with the jeweler is not that unusual I recognize, but again, the way it was handled was odd and didn't make us feel great. When he got back he said that they recommended a complete resetting of our ring and claimed that there was potentially some poor work done with the ring before by a previous jeweler that might need to be redone. He then proceeded to write us up a quote on a sticky note with other information on there that was crossed out. Never once asking our names or taking down information to follow up. The whole thing was so unprofessional. We couldn't get out of there fast enough and were certain we did not want to use them for work on such an important and high-value piece. We ended up going to FastFix (2 minute walk away), which had also been recommended. The experience was night and day! FastFix staff greeted us immediately and offered the kindness and warmth we look for in customer service. They created an actual quote for us that was emailed to us for record, didn't try to upsell us, and walked us through the work that would be needed. They were transparent about what things should be fixed now and what things could wait a few years. They also ensured that they would check the condition of the ring whenever we wanted to bring it in for more timely information on the urgency for updates. We felt so much more comfortable there! Stay away from Hyde Park and take your business to another shop that will treat you with respect and isn't going to try to upsell you - especially for something so important! read more

I asked them to fix my Rolex gold watch bracelet. I was told that Rolex would the repair themselves. 2 months after receiving my watch back "repaired", the bracelet fell apart again with the same problem at the same place. Again I was told that Rolex would do the repair. A couple months later, the general manager of Hyde Park called me and told me that Rolex could not do the job. He offered to have his own repair department to do the job. Would you buy a Rolex watch from Hyde Park after reading this story? They are not the only Rolex jeweler in Scottsdale. read more

There is a good reason why I am the first one to write a review about this jewelry store on Yelp, and it is NOT because my boyfriend has gone out of his way to get me some simple diamond earrings.... It is because this is lush and expensive gem, gold, silver and white gold haven, making it one of Denver's most prestigious jewelry stores. The fact that is located in the Cherry Creek Mall can be deceiving, as I personally think it is tacky to buy jewelry in the mall. (Should I have said that!?) No offense; however, I think that my mind frame would definitely change if I received a sparkling gem from one of their many pretty choices. Would someone please forward this review to my boyfriend to give him a hint!? The cool thing about the store being in an upscale mall is that it does not feel stuffy or uncomfortable when you browse the counters. With the screaming toddlers strolling by and their nanny's trying to soothe them back to silence, you remember very quickly, that the sales people have probably seen everything and everyone walk past their front doors... Nothing will catch them off guard. The jewelry store is renowned for their creative window displays. You will always see people looking at the window displays, whispering, giggling, pointing and making remarks. I guess the window dresser makes big bucks. After doing some research we decided to work with Hyde Park. Greg is extremely knowledgeable and was so helpful throughout the whole process. We decided to have a custom ring made for the stone and Greg kept us in the loop throughout the whole process. We had a check in every couple weeks where he would update us on the progress. It can be scary to give a diamond to a jeweler to have reset but I was never worried with Hyde Park. Their jewelers are in house so your diamond will not leave the store. Their staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Greg was able to give me some background and history of the cut and style of my diamond which was really great.
