Unmistakenly a true bodybuilders/Powerlifter- gym with all the accomodations necessary to get either Fit, Super Strong, or just plain built. Several counterparts from the gym have competed in NPC class shows, several have gone to Nationals and Jr. Nats and some I believe have become / or were Pros. Big Al, Bonney and the team are a pleasure to work with and the music station is almost always on Rock and Roll, never a Backstreet Boy song or Britney Spears song plays. If im not mistaken, they have the most amount (of a certain brand) of weight equipment of anywhere on the eastern seaboard. THe pride that comes out of being with a gym like this is carried through 4000 miles away when I still rock the classic FlexGym T-shirts here in Los Angeles. I downloaded the app prior to arriving to start the "Guest" process and was given a barcode to scan once I arrived. Since my boyfriend is a Black Card Member, I am able to accompany him as a guest anytime he goes so once I signed a few waivers and took a picture, we were good to go. Very easy process. The gym wasn't crowded at all and I loved how clean and ventilated it was. The majority of the stationary exercise machines were available so once I cleaned off a treadmill, I immediately hopped on and started my work out. Planet Fitness has two sets of 12 large TV screens broadcasting different shows that you are able to access when on a stationary machine, which I thought was convenient, but I just listened to my music as I walked. The staff was extremely friendly and each workout area includes a generous amount of space for members to work out without feeling overly crowded. The cleaning stations are located sporadically around the gym but allow for easy access for people to wipe off the machines before and after use. For it being my first time at a Planet Fitness, I was overall very impressed and will be returning as soon as I can.

Thankfully, my niece was in town so we all decided to go together. With my daughter's membership, we both were able to accompany her for just $10pp. At first glance, this gym was very spacious and very well maintained. It had a huge, open area with treadmills, ellipticals and stair masters then other areas that included free weights, weight machines and bikes, among other equipment. I was very impressed by the swimming pool and the large hot tub as well. We started on the treadmills as a warm up then worked our way to the upper body machines. I noticed they had cleaning wipes conveniently located, to wipe down the machines when we were done which was a plus. As we were leaving, I noticed the Onelife Cinema and asked the lady at the front desk about how it works. She mentioned that they show a different movie every day (the movie is on repeat) but the room includes treadmills and workout equipment for you to workout and watch a movie at the same time. What a concept!!! I haven't decided if I am going to join yet but this gym is absolutely beautiful, spacious and very well ventilated. The staff is also great and I would highly recommend stopping in if you are interested in joining a gym.

I have never seen it crowded and they have programs and trainers geared to seniors. We had 5 training sessions with Cheryl and found her to be very supportive and encouraging. They are always right and the customer wrong especially if a customer is an immigrant. Once the staff forgot to give the card back which they requested while I was making the payment to the cashier because I could not receive their bills. The gym where the card was forgotten was far from my home(Tikkurila Dixi, Finland). They could not send a card to me or to my nearest gym. I ended up canceling my membership. They told me that cancellation needed 2 months noticed and charged me for 2 months which I did not even attend because they had my card. It might be one of the cheapest gyms but their services are very low quality and not worth the price. Peoples dignity and respect is key. I think they value money more than people and they do not have intergrity

Also, very pleased the gym rolled out extended hours. About time! Closing at 2pm on a Sunday was ridiculous.

Tons of equipment, from machines to free weights, plus they had a full size boxing ring upstairs - how many health clubs/gyms have one of those on site? Come in for a workout, get all warmed up, go for a run (for me, usually 3-5 miles), then back for a shower! Now live in Texas, outside of Fort Worth and work out at an old style gym - a few machines and free weights. Texas Fit is the name. Good people here too - always helpful, but no boxing ring!
