Such a cute location and great view but that's really all the good offered. Room was dirty , there was so much hair on the bathroom floor's, toilet , counter, even in the bed. And not just head hair- It was absolutely disgusting! I would be terrified to cook something on the little stove they had in the suite , there was so much caked on black food ash - seems like it would be a fire hazard. Room also smelled like it was a chain smokers previous residence. We honestly dreaded sleeping there. We told the front desk and were offered a possible discount but at a later date- whatever that means? doesn't seem like follow through on that will happen. Would've been better customer service if offered on the spot. Sad cause this property has a lot of potential. Would suggest to management that they get better cleaning help. read more

Ok. Lemme start by saying that Devon was really sweet and super helpful. The location is beautiful but it starts to end there. Our room smelled like chemicals. Raid? Or Bug Bomb? I'm not sure but it was potent. We also were charged $165 for a room and didn't realize it till after we left that rooms are around $100? There are really no amenities or frills here. We looked at other options in our room just to check and their many more options for same or less that are nicer. Newer. Have amenities. I hate leaving reviews like this cause we aren't tho kind of people but I have to be honest. Someone said you are paying Hilton prices for a Motel 6 and that resonated with me. The setting for this little garden hotel is stunning. It's right above where the ferries come and go and the mists move in and make for a magical experience. The rooms were nice (not super fancy but clean and zero issues) and the hotel breakfast provided hot waffles. Room is clean, checking in was fine. Guy in the front office was very nice. The live deer wandering around was a nice touch. Now its 5am...I need to take a shower. Shower has been running for 15 minutes...FREEZING COLD WATER. The water in the sink is a few degrees above that. I tried calling the front desk...which by the way, you have to figure out their phone number online because they dont have it listed anywhere. Goes to voice mail of course. I really wanted to like this place too. By the way...the shower has been running this whole time and is still cold. Also...the internet password doesnt work, on either my or my wifes computer. Unquestionably the worst hotel experience I've ever had. Terrible. I'm 52 years old, and I've stayed in hundreds of hotels. Before I explain why our experience was so bad, let me make something super clear: I don't write reviews unless an establishment is either incredible/outstanding, definitely deserves a "shout out" for being great, OR, as was the case with the Ship Harbor Inn... maybe I can save somebody $180. Although the Ship Harbor Inn would quickly go out of business, they should probably charge about $29 per night. Stay away unless you simply do not have another option. Oh, and whomever answered the "Emergency/Red Phone", at about 3 AM the morning of May 25th, 2026? That person should be immediately fired. Horrible. Wouldn't provide me with his name, asked me for my name and my room number (I provided both), but he wouldn't provide his name. I asked for it three times, and, after being combative/argumentative, he hung up on me. I told him, very simply, that it was IMPOSSIBLE to sleep. He said, he'd "talk to someone in the morning." "OK, but we CANNOT sleep", I said. "Talking to somebody in the morning is not going to do anything for us right now." If I was speaking to the owner, you should close the hotel immediately, declare bankruptcy. My wife and I arrived in Anacortes yesterday afternoon, after attending an epic wedding in Lake Steven's the night prior. Sunday also happened to be our 11th wedding anniversary. We had a GREAT time, but didn't get very much sleep, we were exhausted when we arrived in Anacortes. One of those nights when the ONLY thing you want to do is crawl into bed, get super cozy, and get as much sleep as possible. Well, I got two hours of sleep. Fell asleep at 5 AM, was up at 7 AM. OK, the bad: -Room smelled of stale cigarette smoke. -Bed was uncomfortable/pillows were floppy, really thin. Basically like you weren't even using a pillow. -Walls and ceiling were PAPER thin. Heard EVERY footstep from above, every movement, and, here comes the WORST part (you'd think of this as an amenity if it wasn't your upstairs neighbor)... a jacuzzi bathtub. After listening to EVERY footstep leading to their jacuzzi bathtub, you could then hear the running water. Now, the BEST PART (well, second best part): when they fired up the jacuzzi jets, not only was it unbelievably loud in our room, it was literally shaking our room. I could FEEL the rumbling of the jacuzzi while lying in bed. OK, so more noise, not that big of a deal, we'll be able to sleep when they're done with the jacuzzi tub, right?! Not even close. On SEVEN different occasions, from about 11 PM until about 3:45 AM, the individual above us turned on the jacuzzi jets. Every time I was able to block out, to the best of my ability, all of the other noise above us, start to fall asleep, they'd fire up the Jacuzzi once again. At 2 AM, I said to my wife, "we HAVE to get out of here, go find another hotel. We're not going to get ANY sleep tonight!" Called two other hotels at 2 AM, didn't get a live person. Put on my headphones to block out the noise, didn't matter! If I couldn't hear it, I could still feel it!! The buzzing and the vibrating. Just ridiculous. It was, very simply, the worst of the worst. Finally fell asleep at about 5 AM. I was awake at 7 AM. Why? Footsteps and noises above. Very loud, extremely disruptive. It was just a terrible experience all around. Oh yes, two other quick things: When my wife turned on the shower this morning, the plumbing made a noise as if the room was about to blow up. And she literally just told me that there was HAIR on the ceiling of the shower and in the tub. F*cking disgusting. Finally, as we were leaving this morning, I walked our key cards into the lobby. Nobody was behind the front desk. There was an open door, looked like an office, so I said, "hello?! " a few times, nothin'. Rang the bell, waited for about five minutes, nothing. Nobody in sight, nobody to talk with, etc. IF you are forced to stay at the Ship Harbor Inn, be 100% certain that you DO NOT get a room on the lower level. Rooms on the second floor HAVE to be at least a little better, but I'm sure you can hear everything that your neighbors on each side of you are doing at all times. Avoid, avoid, avoid. If I could do minus one I would. WORST TREATMENT IN MY 71 years on earth. We reserved a 3 day stay fully transparent that right after a very rushed move out from a rental due to new tenants coming we were bringing stuff we just grabbed out of cabinets in garbage bags, supermarket bags etc and fully intended to sort though everything in the room without causing any kind of disturbance. My husband just had a brain hemorrhage and suffers from cognitive decline. All I saw were five couples in the breakfast room with whom I had lovely conversations over coffee, and my car was one of three in our side in of the parking lot so there was a lot of carting back and forth of belongings to prepare for pick up by a friend to donate to the homeless shelter in town. Obviously NOT LOUIS VUITTON LUGGAGE - bags, bins etc, typical of any move out. And, yes, typical of homeless people handling their stuff. Realizing I needed a bit more time I asked the manager Dan to extend the stay and his insulting response was "that particular room is taken " the place must have had no more than 30% occupancy on a Monday when we spoke and "we won't be giving you another. You are making this place look like an encampment. You are trashing the place. WTF??? What a completely unprofessional person that manager Dan was. I never left my baggage in full view for more than 5 minutes yet in In his passive aggressive manner he said lots of people complained about our stuff . He said he had nothing to say to me and to leave by checkout on Tuesday. Wd not give me specifics I had to get another motel which was $20 less and much larger more comfy and treatment was top notch. Review to follow. I had to hold myself back from telling him to take that attitude where the sun doesn't shine, but didn't want him to enjoy his gloating! If you're old and need a last stop before moving, this is NOT THE PLACE for you. No way to regroup here in their miserably tiny rooms.if I could talk to the owner who I googled and found out is senior also, I would tell her to have her staff treat people like human beings, not savages. He said we were trashing the room. See attached move out photos. Does not look trashed to me. He refused to do a walk through he was not busy nobody was around and our room was a few yards from the lobby. He said to just leave and take everything , even said I couldn't leave a bottle of shampoo in the shower. If it was possible to leave 0 stars I would. I booked my room 3 months ago for Labor Day weekend by calling directly. My friends booked their room the next day through booking.com. We both have confirmation emails. Both reservations were miraculously canceled but neither of us got cancellation emails. I called about an hour before arriving to let them know we should be there around 5:30pm and was told that my reservation had been canceled. (It wasn't us nor did we receive a cancellation email) they said they could give me a less desirable room. Since we had no other option, I agreed. Upon arrival, my friends were told that they did not have a reservation, despite them proving it with the confirmation email. Ultimately, my friends were told it wasn't the hotels problem and they didn't have a room for them. I then explained we would not be able to stay in the subpar room they gave us after losing our reservation because we were a party of 4. The inn informed me they would be charging me a cancellation fee for the lesser room that they had given me because my reservation had been "canceled". It cannot be an accident if both rooms booked in two different way were "lost" or "cancelled" on a holiday weekend without any cancellation emails. I have travelled all around the world and have never had this type of issue or terrible customer service. It is my suspicion that they realized they could charge a higher price (to other people) on a holiday weekend. read more

First, the positives: 1. Great location 2. Great views 3. They had a phenomenal photographer for their website Now the negatives: 1. We arrived in the area early and asked about the possibility of an early check-in, but we were very curtly, even rudely, informed that we couldn't check in before 3 and that there were no exceptions. When we arrived and went to the front desk to ask again in person (just in case they changed their minds), we were told again that we couldn't check in before 3. 2. At 3, we showed up at the front desk to check in. The rude woman who we had spoken to before was in the middle of chastising a younger woman. We were told that we couldn't check in before 4 (!) and that all rooms were booked and had to be cleaned. When I asked whether we could check into the first room cleaned, they said no. 3. At 4, we were able to check in, but when we went into the room, there was a HUGE drop of pee on the toilet seat. I went to the front desk to ask for it to be cleaned. The front desk person said they'd inform the cleaning person immediately, but it wasn't until 15 minutes later when I heard a cleaning lady outside the room, I went up to her and asked her to clean the toilet. She said this was the first that she had heard about it. 4. There was a bunny-sized dust bunny in the room. Not just in the corner, but sitting next to the bed up against the wall which made us wonder whether the room actually had been cleaned. 5. The room wasn't quite as nice as what is pictured on the website (see positive #3 above), Someone else mentioned that this place had Marriott prices for a Motel 6 experience. The only redeeming feature of this inn was the scenic view. Unfortunately, the room's cleanliness and management practices were highly disappointing. During our stay, we found stained bedsheets--suggesting they hadn't been changed--and when we replaced them ourselves, we discovered tiny bird feathers scattered across the bed. The bathroom was visibly dirty, with hair from previous guests, and we had to use disinfectant wipes to clean surfaces ourselves. The fridge still contained a previous guest's water bottle, and the microwave had food residue. TV access was limited to just a few basic channels. The news and 1960's original show batman, despite them having Xfinity. The toilet didn't function properly and kept constantly almost overflowing, and housekeeping was unavailable when we needed assistance. Despite these issues, management only offered a 25% refund. When we requested more due to the room's condition, the manager declined but oddly offered a 50% discount on a future stay--something we declined. The refund process itself felt unprofessional. Without permission, our card was charged after the refund was supposedly issued but had not been processed yet (and is still processing)--and they used a card we explicitly asked them not to use. This is a serious breach of standard business and banking practices and hotels cannot charge your card without your permission especially without a written contract, or electronic agreement. Lastly, other reviews mentioned some other health concerns as well, which is very alarming. I cannot recommend this inn to anyone seeking a clean or professionally managed place to stay. read more

The inn is cute and quiet and has lovely water views. Owls talked all evening. The bed was comfortable. But the floors were icy cold even though the carpet areas. The television didn't work and when we called to ask how to use it the manager said you have to press the buttons on the devices, not the remote. There were no instructions in the room. And the button the devices also didn't work. The manager was incredibly rude, saying he was closed and would not provide any further help. His tone was aggressive and unpleasant. It was between 9:30 and 10:00 but we hadn't been informed we couldn't ask for help after 9:30. It was completely unnecessary to be so surprisingly rude. We booked a stay at this property during the week of July 4th, expecting a relaxing and enjoyable experience based on its location and online reviews. Unfortunately, our experience was deeply unsettling and disappointing, to the point that we chose to leave early. Shortly after arriving, we were approached on the hotel grounds by a woman behaving erratically, asking for directions to a bathroom. Her appearance and conduct were disturbing, and it was clear she had wandered onto the property from the nearby ferry stop. This raised immediate safety concerns, which we reported to the front desk. It was not the kind of welcome anyone hopes for when arriving at a hotel. Although our room initially looked clean, a closer look revealed multiple housekeeping oversights: * The bathroom mirror hadn't been cleaned and was covered in spittle. * A garbage can FULL of old food from the previous guest was left under the kitchen sink * No garbage bags were provided in the kitchenette. We reported these issues to the front desk and were told housekeeping would address them the following day. That same evening, while preparing dinner, we discovered the provided cookware was dirty. When attempting to wash it, we found a used, mildewed sponge under the sink, and the only available towel was stained, crusty, and riddled with holes and bleach marks. We brought these items to the front desk to request clean replacements. At this point, we began to question whether the room had been properly cleaned at all--particularly the bed linens. When we raised these concerns with Dan at the front desk, he said these are minor issues. We asked for a discount for the night as we were uncomfortable and inconvenienced by the mess. The staff member offered a minimal discount (15%) but then told us we would be asked to vacate the room the next morning. ( we were booked for FOUR nights during 4th of July) His response to our concerns was dismissive and, frankly, shocking--he even told us, "The hotel owner would think you're lucky to even get to stay the night." We were stunned by the lack of professionalism and courtesy. Rather than endure further disrespect, we chose to check out that night. Thankfully, we found a clean and welcoming room at the Majestic Hotel, where the staff treated us with kindness and professionalism.( very highly recommend!) It's disheartening that a hotel with so many positive reviews does not uphold even basic standards of cleanliness or guest safety. The lack of accountability and dismissive treatment by the manager made an already unpleasant situation far worse. I would not recommend this property to anyone! read more

Good points first. The bed was really comfortable, the kitchen was efficient everything was there that you might need. It's also just a short drive down the hill to the Safeway store. Incredibly peaceful! The wine was quite tasty. Check in was quick and efficient. Loved the little deck. They definitely should consider putting a privacy wall on one side of each of the deck so you don't feel like you have to look at someone else's or coming and going or sitting on their deck. Location is literally one minute from the San Juan Islands ferry. Perfect!! Negatives: The hideabed in our room was incredibly uncomfortable even just sitting on. Sleeping on it was impossible. Communication through the Hotels app was non-existent. I tried to send a message late at night because I needed to let them know something but I wasn't going to call the office during off hours.nI got zero response even later the next day. They never bothered to check the messages I guess. It's a little expensive for what you get and I know some of the rooms are better. But of course the better the room the more expensive it is. I have a close friend I met in the 7th grade. We are now 74 and try to get together once a year. We just had the most delightful time at Ship Harbor Inn. I am very well traveled. I go to Europe almost every year and sometimes twice in a year. I expect cleanliness, quiet and comfort from a hotel, and all of those boxes were checked. We stayed in room #45. It had two bedrooms, a bathroom, small refrigerator and nice balcony. Our view was gorgeous. Each room had its own thermostat and the heat worked vey well. The days were still sunny, but the mornings and evenings were very crisp. The grounds were meticulously kept. On one of our walks we were within 8 feet of a doe and her fawn. It had lost its spots, but was clearly young. The hotel is well located between downtown Anacortes and the ferry to the San Juans. We parked and rode the ferry to Friday Harbor for a late breakfast at the Rocky Bay Cafe. Tasty food and a great Bloody Mary. The best place we found for breakfast in Anacortes was Calico Cafe with their phenomenal cinnamon rolls and sticky buns. There are lots of places to buy fun gifts, but the best is Moonwater Arts. Lots of nice handmade items. It was a great few days and we would do it again. It was great to have a comfortable home base at Ship Harbor Inn. read more

Night before our stay we received another confirmation with the room check in code. While checking in, we found out they didn't have our room. This place is totally adorable. A bunch of little outbuildings with a few rooms each in them. All seem to have water views and all have outside entrances. Usually getting a dog room for a motel you get the dingy basement room by the door that smells a bit musty. Not so here - the dog room had an in room jacuzzi! Our dogs can usually detect how clean something is by obsessing about a random stain on the floor until you are totally grossed out - but there was very little of that here. Bed was mostly comfortable. No too sheet, was was unusual. The inn is located down a steep, well lit driveway and it leads to you directly to the front door/reception area. The decor inside and out of the Inn is incredibly adorable. Some of the trees have bird houses on them and there are signs for playing children and pets along the drive in. Its the little things that make a customer feel welcome and this place nailed it! The front desk clerk was very friendly and check in was a breeze. Our room was on the lower level and contained a queen bed, wet bar with microwave and tiny fridge, a huge Jacuzzi tub and a little outdoor patio area. We had a view of the well maintained garden and the ocean from our jacuzzi. The bed and pillows were so incredibly comfy that it was difficult to get up and start the day. The negatives of our stay was that the water pressure in the shower was absolutely horrible and we had a weak Wi-Fi signal the entirety of our stay. The room does come with cable but with people relying more on technology and their phones now, weak Wi-Fi can be a huge issue for some. The Jacuzzi was amazing, though the plug for the drain was not the appropriate size and did not effectively stop the water from draining out. I would have rated this place with 3 stars but the only reason I booked with them was because of the Jacuzzi tub, and the tub did not disappoint! read more

The person that works the desk at this hotel is the rudest person I have ever dealt with at a hotel. He charged us $50 for a pet fee and we don't even own a pet! We had a large party and 4 rooms there total. Rooms were not even cleaned the and they claimed there were "pet hair fibers on the carpet." The person in that room does not even own a pet. There was a used coffee pod still in the Keurig coffee maker. The Continental breakfast was minimal and there were no glasses for juice or milk. This was one of our favorite hotels which was apparently sold recently. The new owner has decided to discontinue the local resident discount, which is very disheartening, especially due to the continued unreliable ferry service to the neighboring San Juan Islands. We've been stranded a few times, and it was so nice to drive just a few minutes to the hotel and be close to catch the early morning ferry the next day. It also was especially convenient because we always travel with our small dog, and they have also now added a $50 per night fee for dogs in their dog friendly rooms. What a mistake! Ship Harbor Inn is nothing but problems and attitude. We checked in for one night and had actually a nice room - we thought - until we looked further. Paint chipping off where the chair hits the wall and when we opened the small refrigerator we discovered what you see in the photo - it was DAYS OLD - frozen and so unsanitary. The room included breakfast...what a joke! We went at 9am. They serve until 10 am. The breakfast room was filthy and littered. Dirty dishes piled in the sink and bus trays..virtually no food - a couple of bagels - a dirty waffle machine - no waffle mix - no coffee cups, no tea, almost nothing. I went across to the front desk. There was a woman sitting behind. I made an inquiry as to food and cups...she said to me "oh, go to your room and bring your own cup...people steal them and take them to their rooms so we have no more"...and when I inquired about additional food, she said " oh by this time, we are out of most everything". Then she said to me "I have been gone for 3 days, I don't know about anything going on now. I inquired about a reduction in our room charge to compensate for no breakfast...and she said to me "oh you don't pay for breakfast it is included in your rate" I said nothing and walked out...we checked out within ten minutes. read more

Came here to relax after my sister died. Cabin with a View. Sounded promising. But as we settled in we realized there was NO dish soap NO dishwasher so earlier customers had simply put away the dishes with leftover egg and steak stuck to them!! There were no napkins and no paper towels, no facial soap, only one spoon, one knife stuck to the drawer. Really sad. Every time my husband went to the front desk he was met with the same frothy mean-spirited woman who refused to give us her name. She probably hates this place and her boss doesn't care. It's a shame, really. Customer service means everything . She ruined our stay and couldn't care less and then she charged us &35 because we needed a noon checkout!! We went out and bought dish soap, paper towels ...all the amenities we needed and left them for the next people. We stayed here before catching the first ferry out during an early weekday morning. It is the PERFECT location for you to stay before getting on annacortes ferry. We arrived a little after 9pm and they were expecting us. The person at the front desk was very informative without making us feel like we were standing there forever. He kindly informed us breakfast was included if wAnted if before heading out in the am (didn't happen since that would have meant an even earlier wake up!) Our room was on the bottom floor, which still had a gorgeous view since the hotel is on a hill. The hotel was very clean with completely fresh white linens on each bed (no gross comforter that is used repeatedly). It was very spacious with a patio in the back and access to the scenic hill. There were plenty of mugs/glasses for our champagne to get the weekend started. My friend left her makeup bag at the hotel and didn't realize it was missing until ships harbor inn called her to let her know they had it! Overall, I really enjoyed staying here. During covid times, cleanliness is important. The hotel seemed clean enough. The hotel room in itself was nice. We even had a view of the ferry and some of the water. It was a pretty nice view with a patio. Before we left, we got to take some nice photos in the patio area. The rates seemed fair and not too pricey. I appreciated their to go breakfast brown bags. The staff service was hit and miss. One of the ladies who worked the front desk was super nice. She offered to take a photo for our family. The other lady was a little weird... We didn't refrigerate the cream cheese that came with our breakfast. Because I was feeding it to my kid, I didn't feel like it was safe to offer to them. I went to the front desk to get a new packet of cream cheese. She seemed reluctant and said that it didn't need to be refrigerated. The packet verbiage specifically said, "refrigerate." lol. I told her that you needed to refrigerate yet she seemed argumentative about this point. She insisted that cream cheese is like ketchup where you didn't have to refrigerate... it just stays good. Funny enough, the other lady who was working there got up and got some cream cheese packets for me without any questions from their refrigerator. lol. They refrigerate their cream cheese but they are telling me that it is unnecessary? I just thought the conversation over cream cheese was a little annoying... I would stay here again. Booked a room while travelling with my pets as the inn is listed as "pet friendly." Basically got a bait and switch indicating there would be a $250 fee for having pets with me that more than doubled the reservation price. Once I saw the stipulated fee, the inn would not let me cancel my reservation. Totally unacceptable and unethical business practices on full display. Avoid this place at all costs. read more

We stayed here on the night before we boarded the morning ferry to San Juan Island. It was great because as a family of 5 it is sometimes hard to find a place that fits all of us. We rented room 50 and it was a 2 bedroom, 2 bath suite with a kitchen and living room with a pull out couch. It also happens to be next to the room for breakfast and the laundry facility. There was a beautiful view of the ferry docks and a private patio for relaxing. The Inn has a well stocked bar and you can bring drinks on to the patio. Breakfast was a choice of hot items like eggs and sausage, make your own waffles, and lighter options like fruit, yogurt, and pastries. Also juice and coffee. I need to see more of Anacortes, but so far Ship Harbor Inn was a wonderful stay. They are situated very close to the ferry terminal and it's relaxing to look at the water and ferry in the morning. I overheard the manager telling another guest that they can drive their car over to line up in the morning and walk back for breakfast while they wait for the ferry. That was a thoughtful touch. Check in took a little longer than usual as the manager/owner got confused with our party of 8. However, it wasn't a big deal since he was so friendly and happy to get us settled in. My husband, 2 year old daughter and I stayed in room 43, which had 2 queen beds and balcony. My daughter loved looking out on the balcony and we spotted a deer as well. The room also has an extra sink, mini fridge and microwave. There is a Keurig coffee machine, which was easy to use, but I wished they also provided a couple bottles of water per room as well. The complimentary Continental breakfast was great. They had a waffle maker for making fresh waffles, boiled eggs, 2 types cereal, instant oatmeal, bananas, apples, bagels, bread, English muffins, poppy seed and lemon loaf. There were plenty of coffee, juice and tea, but I couldn't find water. (Besides the tap) There's a patio outside with chairs, tables, fire place and heat lamps. Great view but dated and in poor repair. Comfortable bed with good linens in bedrooms and bathroom. Desk staff person was pleasant but not knowledgeable. The hotel was unable to get repairs completed or move me to another room so I had to check out early. read more

Second visit. First one was awesome. Not so much this time. Marriott prices with Motel 6 experience. No light bulbs in lamps, didn't bother to tell us that there was NO housekeeping service (3 nights). Had to get out own towels and coffee pods. No breakfast and wine room closed. View? It was the roof of The building in front of us that should Have been replaced 20 years ago. Very dumpy. Left $200 AirPods in the room after leaving for an early morning ferry. Called the office to let them know we'd be by in the afternoon to pick them up (find my device showed them in our room at the hotel). By the time we made it back the room had been cleaned and the AirPods somehow made it halfway down hwy 20. Not much effort on behalf of management to remedy the situation or compensate stolen property. Not a great look.... Pretty outdated & overpriced place for what you get anyway. I was accused by the manager of having a pet in the room, I don't have a pet, nor did I have one during my stay. I was charged a 50.00 pet fee charge and a 50.00 early check-in charge, we could check in at 3 PM, and we did check in at that time. My best friend was having a wedding anniversary weekend, and she had reserved 4 rooms for her friends and family. I was in the bathroom and turned on the heat dial which would not shut off, we called the front desk and a nice gal came down to help the door was wide open and clearly no pet was in sight, she came in and tried to help and finally got it shut off, the first night I came home neither tv would work, so I called the someone came down to help again I let him in, no pet was in the room, he plugged in the TV in bedroom, but it still didn't work, I stayed for 2 days housekeeping was nowhere to be found, they never came to the room at all, yet they were very quick to accuse me of finding pet hair in the fibers in the carpet, do you think housekeeping didn't clean before I came and the ppl before me had a pet? I have never been accused of something like this, when I did not have a pet, and two different staff members were in the room. All the doors were open, and no pets were in sight. I'm furious the manager was a jerk that has no management skills at all. He hung up the phone on my best friend when she tried to call to get the charge taken off, do not stay at this place unless you want a bunch of extra charges and accusations, they are not a chain so they can treat the customers however they want and they sure do and they don't care. I never do Yelp reviews, but this was necessary to alert everyone I can, so unless you want to get bent over with misc charges and deal with a rude manger. PLEASE GO ELSEWHERE!!! read more

Rat in bed at midnight. I visited with my family on July 5th. We booked a suite (Room 39). Around 1 am, my mother was woken up by some strange noise. She turned on the light, and saw a rat scurried across her bed. She was so scared that she kept the light on after that. Since that, she wasn't able to fall asleep again that night. She didn't tell us this until in the morning, because she didn't want to wake us up in the midnight. Since she doesn't know English, she was not able to call the office right after the incident. I reported this to the front desk lady in the morning. She simply took a note and told me that she will report this to the manager. She didn't even apologize at that time. Due to our ferry leaving soon, I wasn't able to find the hotel manager to discuss about the issue. After I was back at home, I wrote a complaint letter to the hotel. I waited for two days, and didn't receive any reply from them. So I called the hotel. The hotel manager simply denied the rat issue the hotel has. His attitute was arrogant. I was really disappointed. Since we were not able to provide a picture of the rat in bed as the evidence, he insisted that what my mother saw was not a rat.
