If I could leave less than one star I would. We booked this company nearly weeks in advance for our son's first birthday, paid a $400 deposit directly with Ana, and confirmed payment, day & time via text multiple times. The day before the event, I received a vague text from an unknown number stating they would arrive at 10am the following day. On the day of the party, they never showed. Dozens of calls went unanswered as both provided numbers were turned off, leaving 50+ guests without food. Later to find out they decided to go out of town on vacation. My husband had to leave his child's first birthday for hours, spending over $700, and scramble for replacement catering. At 6:30 PM--long after the party--a random number texted us claiming the event was canceled because we didn't "confirm" (something never disclosed or requested). This was not only false, but insulting given the deposit and confirmation we had already provided. When confronted, they shifted blame, denied receiving payment, and showed zero accountability. The man was extremely disrespectful to me on the phone and I was in utter shock. Customer service, communication, and basic professionalism were completely absent. I cannot speak to their food because it never showed up. They ruined a milestone celebration for our family. The only apology came after realizing my husband's company is a major client of theirs. That speaks volumes. I would not recommend this company and I really hope and pray that this never happens to anyone else moving forward. I wish this had never happened to us, but I hope that a lesson was learned on their end to help future clients never have to go through what we did. Their idea of making it right to try and not lose my husband's business was to have us use them again in the future and still pay a hefty price. Insulted and extremely heart broken. read more

We hired Ana's Food Tacos for a family birthday party. A deposit was paid, and the event was confirmed. Unfortunately, they never showed up on the day of the party. We called dozens of times, only to find that every number was disconnected. When we finally reached them, they initially tried to place the blame on us until realizing the host had connections with a larger client of theirs. At that point, the story changed, but the damage was already done. This was supposed to be a special celebration, and their actions were unprofessional, unreliable, and extremely disappointing. I had Ana's Taco Taquizas at a friend's house birthday party. This taco bar (catering) was one of the best I've had at any house party. They don't have a website, they don't have an address, but they left their business cards and phone numbers on the table. Food: beef, pork and chicken with small corn tortillas. Taco bar includes 3 trays of salsa (red HOT, green chili verde and a guacamole salsa), fresh radish, pickled veggies (carrots), fresh cut cilantro and a tray of lime wedges. I think plates and utensils were provided too. They even have rice and beans. I must of went up and got 8 tacos (not shy here when it comes to free, good tacos). Easy fix, easy food for your catering needs. And you just have to provide the trash cans. The 2 folks serving up the tacos stayed for about 3 hours for the guest and the left over trays of food were left behind when they departed. I talked to them and they were based out of the 909/951 but they've ventured out to the 818 (NOHO) before for catering gigs. I guess you can call and deal out the pricing depending on location, hours and how many guest yourself. I would recommend Ana's for you Taco Bar needs. Clean and friendly service too. Having to give this review shatters my heart. I hired Ana's Tacos for a baby shower a few years ago and they were a HUGE hit!!!!! Delicious, timely, awesome! My girlfriend and I decided to have a Covid safe, social distanced, Valentine's and wanted to cater tacos so we hired Ana's. FAIL. They have offered chicken, steak, pork, vegetarian potato tacos and quesadillas. Everyone likes them. Went to a birthday party yesterday and Ana catered the food. It was delicious. Meat was so tender and I loved the salsas. The minimum is 50 people so there was a ton of food. They pack up all the leftovers for you!! Such good service. Surprisingly, the highlight for me was the chips!! They fresh fry them at the start and it's just tortillas fried in vegetable oil, but they were the best chips I've ever eaten. I don't usually have a big appetite but I ate two! plates of those chips covered with the yummy beans, salsa and tasty meat. What makes those chips so good? Unfortunately I found them to be very unprofessional. I had their tacos at a friends wedding and she recommended them. I contacted them 2 months before my event and let them know what I needed. They had poor communication and kept emailing that they would get back to me. Originally had said they had the date available 2 weeks before the event they canceled on me. They apologized but still I would not recommend that you work with them. It was good food when I tried it but it's hard to book unless it's your backyard, I'm guessing or an event with over 200 people which is what my friend had. I have used many different "taco lady" and I have to say, Taco Ana's has been the best. I had them before at my BIL's event and remembered the food being good. So I called them and a gentleman answered and was very professional and upfront. He claimed that his rates were the best ($375 for 50 people) and indeed they were. I texted him my address and called the day before to confirm. Service: Two people arrived promptly one hour prior to our time. They asked where to set up and went straight to work. The only other time they checked in with me was to ask to wash their hands in our kitchen sink. They were ready to serve promptly at the designated time. The guy in charge was named David (young guy) and he was very polite and professional. They had the food ready to go and there was really no wait time at all. They stayed for 3 hrs and then packed up all of the left overs and gave them to us. Their whole set up was very professional. Large stove/grill that they wheeled in was nice and had hot trays for rice, beans, and onions. They had a separate table (that they brought along with table cloth) for the other condiments. Food: I requested only carne asada and chicken. Both meats were very flavorful and delicious. I opted for the asada each time. Another big plus was that they brought flour tortilla and cheese for quesadilla. This is sometimes an extra charge or not even available. I would ask them to open up one of the quesadilla and stuff it with asada. IT was awesome. The 3 different salsa were spot on with my favorite being the guac sauce. I would have loved it if they brought pico de gallo, but that prob would have added to the cost. They separated their onions and cilantro which was great (some people don't care for cilantro). I got many compliments regarding the food. Value: My go to caterers quoted me $425. So I was very happy with the price and service. I would not hesitate to call Taco Ana again. read more

This is the 2nd time we have used Ana's tacos catering. One was at my sister in laws house for a birthday party and the 2nd was for a baby shower at my house. Both times the food was delicious! I've tried many taco carts and this is by far the best! I loved all the tacos ( carnitas, carne asada, chicken and potato). The quesadillas were amazing as well. The vegetarian options were perfect. The sauces, rice and beans were great and the staff is friendly and courteous. I highly recommend them. They also left plenty of food so we can enjoy for a few more days.
