My bowl.
Tom P.

I had a great experience here. I recently had major dental work done, so I can't chew very well right now. I asked if they could cut my meat into much smaller pieces, and they happily took it back and sliced it even more for me. It probably held up the line a bit, but they never made me feel like I was inconveniencing them. That level of customer service really meant a lot. I ordered a bowl with rice, beans, and al pastor. Because of my current situation, I couldn't eat all of the toppings, so I wasn't able to enjoy it the way it was intended. That wasn't the restaurant's fault at all. What I was able to eat was good, and thanks to their kindness, I was actually able to enjoy my meal with very little chewing. Great customer service goes a long way, and they definitely earned my five-star review. Thank you for taking the extra time to help me.

Humongous chicken burrito.

I was in the area so decided to check this place out. Same concept as Chipotle but heard it was better. There was a line when I went but it moved fast. The huge flour tortillas are made to order and you can watch them cook them fresh. Can't beat a freshly made tortilla for a burrito. I chose chicken for my protein along with toppings of grilled vegetables, brown rice, both pinto and black beans, jalapeños, corn, onion, cilantro, pico and green salsa, and pineapple. It made for a humongous burrito which almost didn't close. The chicken was well seasoned and flavorful. The rest of the toppings were fresh and good tasting. All in all, a very large burrito which is large enough to share or have for several meals. I will probably come back to try the arrachera next time since that appears to be very popular. Service was very fast, friendly, and efficient.

Outstanding service and huge, delicious portions -- highly recommend! Customer service was 10/10 -- friendly, attentive, and fast. Food was fresh and absolutely delicious, and the portion sizes are amazing (great value). Will definitely be back!

Our first time here. The line was not bad at all. Super small location. The portion is big. I didn't like the rice at all. The meat didn't have flavor. I was not impressed. Excellent customer service from the beginning of the line to the end excellent customer service.

This place reminds me of the food trucks from the '90s, and I mean that in the best way. Back when food trucks were packed with Hispanics/Latinos pumping out great food that reminded you of home. This was before certain people in Southern California complained and got the food trucks shut down, only to reopen them a few years later with shitty food and call it "gourmet." The staff is friendly. Honestly, they're all working hard like a well-tuned machine that's churning out amazing food. The place itself is clean, and that freaking matters. I appreciate a clean joint. Now for the food... I ordered a chicken burrito. When I unwrapped that burrito, it was huge and glorious. It was like the first time I saw my Chicana wife's butt, it brought tears to my eyes. It was about one and a half times the size of a Chipotle burrito. The flavor... the flavor was truly amazing. The chicken was well-seasoned and cooked perfectly, with a slight smoky flavor and a light peppery finish. The toppings for the burrito were great too, with plenty to choose from. I also ordered a chicken quesadilla. That bad boy was huge and packed with chicken and veggies. My wife's bowl was loaded with so much chicken that she couldn't finish it. The beans and rice were juicy and flavorful as well. Also, their tortillas are fresh and made right on the spot. Overall, this joint is dope. It reminds me of a '90s Mexican spot. It's packed with friendly staff, and they have BOGO deals before 5 p.m. I'll definitely be coming back. I want Baqba to know they'll be contributing to me becoming diabetic... but it's worth it.

Came in here to try a new place! For it being a basic entry Mexican food takeout, it was actually very tasty. I would only give take away half star for the room inside the store because it's very very small but they do have tables outside to eat. Otherwise they get a complete five. You have many options to choose from - you can order burritos, bowls, tacos, etc. My choice was Carne Asada with whole beans & brown rice and it was actually very good. I added creamy guacamole, pico de gallo, sautéed vegetables, sour cream cheese. They have a variety of fixings to add to the entree choice. It is like an assembly line like Subway... I would recommend trying this place in the Rialto marketplace shopping center. It's right off Renaissance on the southside near Yogurtland.

Carne asada burrito. It's gigantic !

This place is busy! Expect a line no matter what time you come here. They give pretty quick service so the line moves at a decent pace. The flavor of their food is great and they give MASSIVE portions. There's very little seating inside but there are a few tables a Ming a wall with some art/slogans on it... they have a couple patio tables on the sidewalk outside their doors.

Finally had the chance to try this spot! Thanks to TikTok and Instagram! Small location and had a line. FYI be prepared to wait. Same concept of chipotle but definitely way better and the portions are insane. I ordered an Arrachera bowl and I couldn't finish it with the amount that they give. Good flavor with every bite!! They have a variety of meat options. They even have Birria!!! Will be coming back to try the rest of the menu! The seating inside is limited as well as the outdoor seating. One of the workers by the name Yalissa was friendly and attentive. Hopefully they can open one in Jurupa Valley or the Chino area!

This place first popped up on my radar when it was described as a 'more authentic' version of popular chain where you get to order Mexican food in a conveyer, fast casual type of way. And for the record, I am a fan of the referenced chain, but I am also a fan of authenticity, so I knew I had to come here at some point. I stopped by off the freeway while returning from a trip up to Big Bear and this place is conveniently located not too far away from the exit. As soon as I walked up, it definitely had the same vibe and feeling where you get in line and you wait to order your main and which form you want it in. The service here is very friendly. I thought I'd beat the dinner crowd by a little bit, but it was already pretty packed. I ordered the Steak Arrachera in the form of a bowl. I added my usual toppings that I do at the other place so it's pretty similar. I do have to say the steak was delicious. If anything, the food is little more well seasoned here. I'm a fan! It's also very reasonably priced compared to other similar places these days There's plenty of parking in the lot, but this place is pretty high traffic with the amount of retail stores and other restaurants in the area

I always love coming to Baqba, their meat is always fresh and even the veggies. Their portions r amazing and I can never finish a bowl because of how packed it is with protein. Theres almost always a long line but it's worth the wait and it move pretty quick.

Steak Sirloin Burrito with guacamole..can barely hold it in one hand. I cut it in half because it's that big. So good!

Chipotle who??? Baqba has the same "build your own"concept as Chipotle, but Baqba tastes more authentic and is so much more flavorful. Their meats are juicy and taste well seasoned. You can see the trompo meat cooking right behind them. The add ons are so fresh and they are generous on portions. Friendly staff too! Glad to see there are more locations opening. I hope they can keep the same freshness and quality the more popular they become. Maybe next location will be in Vegas?? :) - Late post, but long overdue.

Just call me Admiral Baqbar. I can't get enough of this food. It must be some kind of trap!

Good food. Been there three times already. Generous portions and well cooked. Lots of variety of ingredients. Long lines equals popular place .

Leslie had great customer service (which is unheard of most days anymore). The wait wasn't as bad as it looked from the outside. It's huge so share! They will cut it in half for you. Offer you samples. Lots and lots. Got a tortilla on the side. So good. El Tori to grill days. It is very crowded and not a lot of seating but easy to take to go!

I stopped by after a friend sent me a viral video showing their chili relleno burrito with carne…read moreasada, and it immediately caught my attention. When I arrived, I was a little confused about where to order since there's a window outside and also a small seating area inside where you can order as well. It wasn't a big deal, just a little unclear at first. I'll admit, my first reaction was to question the price. At $23, the burrito definitely isn't cheap. But once I got home and opened it up, I quickly understood why. This thing is massive, seriously like the size of a newborn baby! The burrito is absolutely loaded with all the goodness you'd expect: carne asada, chili relleno, and rice. Definitely a burrito you could easily share. My only real complaint is that they only gave me two small containers of hot sauce, which didn't feel like enough considering the size of the burrito and that it also comes with chips. Other than that, the food was delicious and the portion size is no joke. If you're a fan of big, flavorful burritos, this is definitely a must-try spot!

I was…read morehopeful the enchiladas were similar to my mom's that passed away 9 yrs ago and was from Michoacán but once they added the hot salsa juice on top of the cabbage it made them more like crunchy quesadillas that got soggy, not at all an enchilada but decent flavor. The chicken that came with it was indeed bomb. Menu doesn't come with prices and the dishes are overpriced considering the food was not what expected. One enchilada plate, wet burrito, one kids plate , one beer and one orchata was $75, we added tip to that. My husband said his wet burrito was okay but since it was just okay and it was $25 not worth getting since it's just a burrito. They give you salsa ins containers smaller than the ranch containers to go and it makes it hard to eat chips and salsa off of them. The salsas for the chips are more for tacos than to dip in. Some ones else's fish tacos looked good and I thought I'd give them a try next time since this place is in my hometown but all in all I don't plan to come back in the near future because of how long it took to get our food at the end. I was worn out from waiting for my food with my restless toddler. ***I recommend not adding that steaming hot sauces to the enchiladas that turn them to shredded quesadillas and faster service.
