I did not order washed stone and was not expecting it, but I was not expecting it to be as filthy as it was. The material is stored on the ground in the yard, and they must have scooped up some dirt along with the load. I would say they need to work on their quality control when storing and loading their materials.

I was very satisfied with the pavers nine years ago and I am told that the manufacturing process has not changed with the new owners. The "tumbled" pavers are very attractive and give a worn appearance to the final project. See my photo titled "20081115 Patio Paver Random Pattern from AZ Block 2000" for an example of my random placement design. There are no retail outlets for these pavers in the Tucson area, so you will not see them in any local Big Box Store. You will have to visit the manufacturing site just south of Twin Peaks Rd on the the I10 access road to see and buy these cement pavers (or drive to Phoenix). I plan to use another 200 Sq Ft of these pavers in the near future.

I like that you can take samples home and they're complimentary. They provide clear containers that you can fill with as many samples as you'd like, which is nice! Additionally they had a selection of large boulders that were fairly priced. Their selection of screen rock is good. We were hoping for a bigger selection but found the colors we were looking for.
